Have any of the chefs took to porting the original roms Topaz_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_2.16.479.1 WM 6.5 on the Touch HD from what I learned this is not a big problem and I would gladly throw in the rom hd because although it is 2.1 to manila a few goodies with 2.5 and it works really elegantly.

I have been using Wild Child's 'stock' WM6.5 ROM for a little while and it seems really stable.

You should try WCX Series 2...

For WM6.5/TouchFlo3D Manila 2.5 - I agree that agent_47's valkyrie is the best I've tried so far. Nice eye-candy and very sensible collection of programs with XPanels.
(Keep up the good work agent_47!)
Agent 47s xperio is great for speed and stability
christian ROM, works very smooth
Well, if you want a WM 6.1 rom (which are all usually a bit faster than WM 6.5 but less finger-friendly and less eye candy), then I suggest using PCTech4u.
If you want WM 6.5, most of them are generally in the same area of speed and eye candy. However, the one I personally found with very few bugs and the one I found to be most stable was Energyrom
has any chef ever tried this? as Manila 2.5 is too heavy memory wise for the touch hd, i believe it is best suitable as is originally meant for the new HTC Leo. the next best thing really for our Blackstone instead of Man 2.5/6 is Manila 2.1.19182825.6 as is used by DUtty's R4 and Energy ROM standard edition 20090917
Ok let me just start off by THANKING all of the COOKS that make these awesome Roms for all us users to use.....But I was wondering if anyone could just make a simple rom for me....I Have the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 (Rhodium) with the new WM 6.5 Update....all I want is that some Rom but with Htc Sense 2.5 so i can have the awesome weather animation...and the custom tabs on homescreen.....THANKS!!!
what do you mean by simple? they are all pretty much the same in the sense that they are 2.5 sense and 6.5 winmo if your looking in that category... if you want somthing plain look for some roms that have a lite version. those usually just come with the basic things you need to run your phone.
imo there is no 2.5 sence for me that is bug free enough to use all of the time. i would say nrg or valk have the closest ones. im sure other people may disagree.
HTC has just released a ROM featuring sense 2.5 (created for the HD2) for the Diamond2 and Touch Pro2. See article on pocketnow.com (click here).
These devices have specifications which are similar to the HD. As the experience on custom ROMs with sense 2.5 has lagged, especially in the messaging application, will this official ROM bring a possibility for new and faster sense for the HD with the software being more optimized for use without the snapdragon processor?
Hopefully at last the HD can feature sense 2.5 with a far more usable and fast experience.

The Topaz Sense 2.5 was released a couple of months ago, and there's a Rhodium Sense 2.5 from mid-february too. Yes, they seem to be faster though it's probably just because they lack certain features from the HD2 Sense 2.5 - no ereader, documents or footprints tabs. Take a look at miniterror's rom which is based on Rhodium 2.07.
Rhodium version is 2.07, same as leaked version.
Topaz version is 2.53, same as leaked WWE version (Asia leak = 2.54)
yep i am using those pakages but they where not official
i just came form the rhodium section and it loks like htc has released a official update of the rhodium sense 2.5
if only i had a english s/n number to check out what is changed
would be verry handy as i am rebuilding my kitchen

ohh chris check this out... found it on rhodium forums

the EU version i guess is pretty much a WWE version... u can extract sense 2.5 from it and use it in the next build
Great when are we going to start seeing ROMS created for our HD's with this new update to Sense UI included.
I find the LEO Sense ROMS way to clunky, the document, reader and footprints tabs are all useless to me, simple remove them as soon as I start using a rom...
PLEASE also chefs can you title your roms clearly to state which Sense UI you have cooked inside, this would help a lot.

Rhodium and Topaz Sense 2.5 Roms have been around for a month or more! I find them much better than the Leo ones (as to be expected).
