Ok I am going to take the time to build a ROM Index thread. A few of my goals with this thread are:
1) Keep it clean. There will be not other posts besides those of mine indexing ROMs. You may want to comment but please don't, comment on this thread instead please.
2) Come up with a standard to index the different ROMs and a standard way to give a quick overview. Link will be provided to the actual thread of the ROM for downloading and additional info.
3) ROM chefs will have complete control of their ROM preview post given that they follow the standard that we set forth.
I am so far proposing the first post will be a index of all the ROMs organized by WM version, then by Manila Version, and also by carrier version. The the posts below will be the short ROM previews. In the index there will be a link to the preview post of that particular ROM and a link to the ROM's thread. The preview post will also contain a link to the original ROM thread. The preview post will not be used to link directly to ROM mirrors or anything like that.
So I am asking the community what they would like to see in the index thread.
i dont know if this is possible but i would love to see some kind of user rating system either multi part or single. maybe breaking down important features such as battery life, stability, features, speed and overall like or disklike.
also comparing screenshots of the roms would be nice on a single page.
this is good idea hope you can get it running. Good luck
Here is an example of a ROM Preview Post I am thinking of:
I am using an Energy ROM so I hope he doesn't mind.
|R|6.5.3|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Phoenix 2" 28011/21885 ★Dec 25★ Sense 2.1/Titanium ★
WM Version: 6.5 & 6.5.3
Carrier: Unknown
Manila Version: 2.1

I'll be honest that just might be a little too much. This is a simple index and preview thread. I want to make sure if you want a T-Mobile WM 6.5.3 Manila 2.1 ROM you can easily find all of those that fit that description. I am trying to make ROMs findable and quickly described
It sounds like several of us have the same basic idea. However, I dont think the XDA forum lends itself to this type of informational display. In the end we will end up with a long thread.
Now if you are talking about putting the info in a spreadsheet that can be downloaded by any interested party then that a good idea also. I proposed building a DB and website to host this info but I have not heard from any cooks yet as to what they think about the whole idea.

The screenshots are different. Which ROM do I get for the screenshot on the right? What's the difference between the ROM's besides the cosmetic differences in the screenshot?

The spreadsheet/DB idea is what my questions in the above post were leading to. This is the way to go for this undertaking. No offence, but posting screenshots won't accomplish anything.

Screenshots are useful but its not all we need to make an informed decision. Plus the cooks can compare their own work to that of other and possibly get some benefit out of this as well.

Good point!
Rather than using the current layout that you've posted, maybe just use 4-5 lines per ROM with information and links. This way it would make each ROM more comparable as you'd see more ROMS per screen.
Example:
EnergyROM "Phoenix 2" by NRGZ28
Last Updated: 31/12/2009
WM Version: 6.5 & 6.5.3 - Manila Version: 2.1 - Language: WWE - Carrier: Unknown
Screenshots: [WM6.5 Screenshot] [WM6.5.3 Screenshot]
Possibly even add another line for brief notes?

When you read the ROM threads (NRG's for example), you'll see the difference between the builds.
Windows Mobile 6.5 is the original WM 6.5 build with no touch buttons on the bottom.
Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (any 6.5.x version) has the "touch buttons" at the bottom.

So, I need to read the ROM threads??? Then what's the point of this thread?
BTW, If you read my second post in this thread, you should see (I hope) that I am being a devil's advocate in the idea of this thread
I want this thread to be a gateway to the other roms. It's going to be a master list so you don't have to spend time going through the different pages in this forum. Here is What I hope to accomplish here if wasn't a little bit clearer.
1)The 1st post of the thread will be a master list of all the ROMs sorted by WM version then by Manila Version, and then if it is built on a carrier ROM. There will be two link in here for each ROM - a link to the short preview post of the ROM within the thread and a link to the original ROM thread.
2) After the first post which will be used to the index to the thread. each ROM will get it's own post with some basics like WM version, Manila version (if any), If the ROM is built of a carriar ROM, A few screen shots, and maybe a short description that I can either take from the Chef's ROM thread or if the Chef wants to create his own. Anything more detailed people can go into the RO's thread. It is very hard rate usability and such. I can see something as being rated as Stock Release, Stable Release, Minor Bugs Release, and Beta Release.
Or we could just read the title of the ROM threads..

I understand exactly what you want, but the trouble will be keeping up with it. What I mean by that is that certain "chefs" update their ROMs at incredible rates. It would almost be a full-time job to keep current. No chef is going to want to update his/her thread and another thread that details their builds.
Have at it if you wish, but it will be easy to fall behind and/or not stay current with the newest builds.
I would suggest adding to the wiki.

Very True. Thats why I only want to include the basic facts that won't change much.
Didn't 2 other people tried to do this already?????
both failed.
are you sure you will not fail keeping up with all the roms updates?
how long will this last? 2 months? a year?
well, good luck mang..

let me continue what the title of this threat say:
what if.......I was to release a new rom, a new Touch-IT for Heralds
What would you like to see in it?
And please be reasonable, im no magician
Teaser images:
Hey, man. Merry Christmas.
What would I like in it? Too long of a list... that's why I started making my own. lol
Do you still have a Herald to test things out with? I'd love your opinion on my CleanROM/BluePad.
But anyways, I can't say what I'd want, since I'm already making it. lol
Good to see you, though.
yep i got my herald, I have problem letting it go its a good device, so im holding it back...

It's good to know I'm not the only one with an emotional attachment to my phone. LOL
Try out my CleanROM and tell me what you think. It's not the prettiest but I was aiming for speed and a stable ROM with no bugs before actually cooking the apps.
Vista compatibility, big memory, lots of free ram. I think thats a good base, and then let people add all of their bell and whistles themselves.....
Oh and by the way, Ivan, the bluepad is running quite nicely!
perhaps...
perhaps if there are not enough herald users that respond, another wing release would be nice. if you are willing to supply, but the demand is low for heralds, might as well switch the supply to the high demand of wing users. just my 2 cents -and i would really appreciate it.
then i could choose between open touch 2.0 and touch it 2.4 (or however you choose to do your versions numbering).
That´s perfect, please find out together what are the difference between Heraldrom and wingrom - then everybody would be able to get the rom he wants.
That would be a christmas present.
Nice days for you and enjoy some free time!!!!!
BTW: I would like a clean rom only with
HTC Home
HTCActionscreen
Totalcommander
classikblack.tsk
Todayagenda
TCPMP
Fast and 30mb ram
btw i prefer batterystatus - it is bigger but better than omapplus

not unlikly that some stuff there will be included.
And I agree, BS is a better app then omap.
But when the rom is released, I dont want to hear any complaints on what is left out and w/e is in the rom, cause all have diffrent needs.
But I will try to clean out all "scrap" that consume to much of memory.
And that will be in.ex:
Internetsharing
Live
Update
Transcriber
gif files
ringtones
mms templates
picture samples
video samples
and so on
Nice to hear the possibility of you creating a much needed and clean herald rom. IF you were to create a clean rom, I would definitely like the (1) Quick menu (2)HTC Actionscreen, (3) Totalcommander, (4)classikblack.tsk, (5) batterystatus, and (6) touch flo.
Also to add - I like the "Extra" and the "Office Mobile" folders (and what they included) that were included in the Touch-It version 3, as well.
Quickmenu is not a option, but im sure you can use a cab
that's fantastic news if you are going to go ahead with it, over and above what you have included before I would love to see included;
rss hub, htc large start menu and titlebar, htc action menu, tcpmp with the youtube plugins, WM5torage, and WinRAR instead of the zip app, adobe reader le, jbed java (instead of midlet manager).
Also I saw in somebody elses ROM that they have included fax viewer in their office setup, would love that.
Obviously I understand that everybody wants different things, but I think all herald users would appreciate an update of any type. Keep up the good work!

If he's making a Wing ROM, then there's already a clean ROM... if he's making a Herald ROM, he can just use my Base and change the keymap.
lmao, no offence....
but why would I bother to release a rom cooked on other ppls work?
When releasing a new rom now, its a brand new base/build. Not anything I or other have built before
ah it will be based of the windows 6.1???
hehe
and of course there will be complains about: why didn´t you? and why did you?
that is human beeing.....
never to agree with someone else work.
i REALLY tested alot for anichillus and other gys from wizard forum. and i know some facts - but i never released a rom: because it is such a hard work and then - you get no THANKS
no donations - o k - but no real thanks without any discussion = that´s not possible in a world where you can get illegal roms for free which are WAY WAY better than microseft ever will release.
I thank you for your good work and i will test everything _ but i will BEVER ask you: why didn´t you.......
because it is YOUR work, YOUR choice and OUR CHANCE to test it for free.
and if we like it : to say THANK YOU!!!

6.1..yeah I wish I had that one
but no, its just a port from another "new" HTC device
The basic test rom is up on my p4350 now, so the port was success, well atleast to booting up and running ok.
Now it needs to be cleaned up and be cooked into a "brand new" look
but 6.1 is out somewhere.
there are videos.
but it is discussed as "not very much new and only new looking"...

Please include this if you were to release another rom. And touchflo w/o the cube.
Check out the dialer included in this rom for the Polaris... from what it looks like, its surely got to be a skin for the Touch-Dual dialer and thats what I need for my Tilt that has the original one extracted by Dutty..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396560
I'm also attaching the picture of the dialer. Its apparently created by one Tom Codon and I've already pm'ed him and have received no reply. I've done some extensive search and haven't been lucky enough to find a cab for this dialer.
So please, if you have a cab for it or know where to get it from.. then help a brotha out.

... Mods.. thanx for moving this into the general Kaiser forum. I'll admit I'm guilty of slipping on purpose and posted in the wrong section... we're all only human! I need this dialer so bad that when I saw Kaiser General - 74 viewers, Kaiser Rom - 225 viewers.. I succumbed! LOL.
You've gotta admit though the dialer is AWESOME looking. I've gotten so used to the touch-dual dialer on my Tilt and this one seems like it would take care of the only gripe I have about it, the key-press accuracy is horrendous on it. This one looks to have much more defined boundaries and the black on white buttons.. all looks just purrrfect!!
PLEASE.. someone doo the kaiser community a favor and get us this dialer!.. Mr. Tom Codon.. hope ur reading somewhere.
the problem with finding the cab is none exist. everyone gets it from tom in OEM form and no one has made the cab yet.
how about making a cab?

Hi Pawel062... thanx for the reply. Although I'm in shock to know that no one of you cooks have compiled the dialer into a standalone installable cab!!?
What would it take for getting one of you guys to do that? I'm serious... (not being sarcastic, but a genuine question)!
In Dutty's public beta test rom dated May 22, this dialer is cooked in. However, he abandoned the rom due the amount of bugs on it, presumably caused by porting the interface from diamond to kaiser. This shows that it can be done though. I have been searching ever since I reflashed to L26's Diamond V5 Hybrid. I loved it, but not enough to keep a buggy, unsupported rom (although it was the best attempt I've seen so far!). I'm sure people are working on it though, but it seems it is not as simple as you might think, and as I thought.
sakajati's latest build, HyperDragon III WM6.1 WWE ROM CE OS 5.2.19588 Build 19588.1.1.4 (Diamond ROM) incorporates some of the diamond interface, such as the comm manager and keyboards, but goes on to say:
"Obviously there is more work to be done. There's some packages from Diamond rom I'm currently working on like the Dialer, Audio Manager, MP3 Trimmer etc."
So it's a case of waiting at the moment. If anyone fancies trying to extract the dialer from Dutty's Diamond rom (May 22) I'm sure there are lots of people who would be very grateful. I toyed with the idea but unfortunately wouldn't have a clue where to start.

thanks for such an insightful reply! I'm gonna stick around to see who compiles a cab of the dailer.. you're right, there would be many takers of such an awesome looking dialer.
I think there should be a dedicated thread in Development and Hacking section which should have all of the dialers being worked on currently and the ones in the past. Come to think of it, the one common thing all these devices do is that they're there to make a simple phone call when one needs to... so why hasn't a dedicated thread been stickied yet? This way one can try out all of the dialers every make/posted on the forums.
Just my 2 cents..

If someone is willing to test for me, I'll compile a cab tonight or tomorrow. It's fairly simple, I've done others for roms past. HOWEVER, I just deleted my last dump though & need the image files in QVGA if someone can get them or dump them that would be great.

i'll test if you let me know when it's done
I need the files though, I can't dump again till tomorrow as I have a social call to make tonight. I am certain I can make it work as a skin real easy, geting the full screen call ID & Call accept/reject may be a different story.
Has anyone the QVGA files for a dump? Who is this mysterious tom? I can get them from a dump of Dutty rom, but I have to do it the old tool imgfs, rev/rec way as it will not cook in a kitchen. I can do it, but it'll take time. Much better if someone can link me to the QVGA images in an OEM, whatever the other chefs are using.
Unfortunately, as mentioned, I've since reflashed from Dutty's Test Rom and just got everything the way I like it with L26's Diamond Hybrid V5, & I don't really have the time to reflash, learn the Rom dumping process from scratch, and then reflash again and set it all back up. If anyone is willing though, we wait anxiously!
If we could dump or extract from a *.nbh, that wouldn't be a problem, but it seems we can't. Otherwise I suppose you'd have done that already!
It's amazing how much you can want something so simple as a dialer skin. I don't think it's even about how nice it is anymore. I just want it cos I can't get it. Just like when I so badly wanted a Wii cos the shops were sold out! (Got one eventually, bit of an anticlimax!)

That would be excellent, but if you could give me more of an idea of what kitchen to use and where to get it I'll sort out the files if it helps. I'm sorry, I've never used a kitchen before or cooked or dumped/reconstructed any roms myself. Not that I couldn't learn to do it. I'm normally pretty good with that kind of stuff. It's just that with the high standard being produced at the moment with WM6.1s, Hybrids and now porting Diamond roms, I know other people are developing things that are way beyond my means as a beginner, so I'm reluctant to get started if you see what I mean!
But I don't mind spending a bit of time figuring this out if it contributes to the cause. If somebody could give me a good clue on where to start, I'll see what I can come up with.
Otherwise, we'll all just sit back and wait for GSLEON3 to do it for us! (Which would be much easier, of course!)
i have dumped and rebuilt roms but i haven't been able to figure out what files are what programs etc. on my phone
now if someone can let me know what folder and files i would need to make a cab file then i could potentially do it. i'm not as special as GSLEON, i don't have an unlimited supply of devices but i do currently have 4 with one more on the way so i can test my cabs

Same here, I think the main problem for me once having the right program and procedure figured out would be grabbing the right files to make the cab.
I'm sure it wont be long before this is about though. Even if GSLEON3 doesn't get around to it over the weekend, it will come soon.
No pressure GSLEON3!

After moving over to a vga device I wanted to make a new skin for the Phonecanvas from HTC. I already did so with the TouchFLO 2D dialer but I was using a third party repack of the dialer and it gave a lot of problems. So this time I've only redone the graphics so it won't mess with the current functionality of your phone.
How to install:
Check if your phone is VGA or QVGA and download the right file for you..
Check if you are using the HTC Phonecavas with Slide to Answer.
Check if you don't have any dialerskins installed.
!READ!If you don't have the latest Phonecanvas from the Diamond 2.03 rom (VGA) or the latest Opal Phonecanvas install the complete cab. If you do have it installed you are suited with just the graphics cab.!READ!
Intall the cab and soft-reset.
Enjoy!
Download:
-VGA V1.0
-Phonelock Curtain Addon VGA (if you want the Phone lock in call)First install the Canvas then the fix!
-QVGA V1.0a with Phone lock (thanks to mbarvian for the opal phonecanvas)
Please don't mirror my files, this will keep the current version at the right place and lets me keep track of downloads. Thank you.
Before asking questions read the FAQ.
I won't make this payware, that's not my philosophy.
Though I'm still looking for a way to make just a little bit of money with all the work I'm doing and have done so far.
Just like I made you guys a QVGA version and I don't even use it.
I have also thought about making it donateware but some people don't have access to paypal or just don't have a dollar to spare and I don't want to deny them from this skin.
That is why I'm simply asking you for a small donation, xda-user have downloaded software almost 60.000 times and if all of you donated a dollar, I'd be rich by now. Though only a handful of people have donated (thanks!).
So please, if you download this software and you have a paypal account. Be decent enough to show your gratitude with a donation of at least a dollar!
Of course every donationis higly appreciated!

FAQ:
Q: Will the release include QVGA, WQVGA or WVGA?
A: No only VGA and QVGA.
Q: Where is the download?
A: It's still a preview, no download yet.
Q: In what kind of package will it come?
A: It will be a replacement for all of the files that come with the Diamond's phone canvas. So you will need to have it cooked in your rom and my cab will overwrite default images.
Q: Will Videocall and all other functions work?
A: If it works ATM on your phone and you have the new Phonecanvas cooked in your rom, it will still work yes. It only replace images, not the dll that makes everything work.
Q: Is it for the Samsung Omnia?
A: NO, and it never wil be! (sorry I don't like Omnia users, most of them are newbies at WM and ask stupid questions)
Q: How about landscape support?
A: Not yet, this is because I have a Diamond and don't use landscape. Future Development depends on how many people need it/free time/private matters/donations.
Q: No call history?
A: Not yet, this also depends on the previous reasons. Plus I am looking for some sprecific images that I can't find and I do need to complete the skin.
Q: What if I have a rom that does not have the PhoneCanvas in it to begin with?
A: Find a rom that has de Phonecanvas, I'm sorry but up to date I don't think there is a cab though I can try to extract it someday.
Q: Can it be uninstalled?
A: Yes it should be ok.
Q: I can't read the history's text in the main dialer screen.
A: This is probably because it is white with your rom, download and install this cab and soft reset.
Release one
Enjoy and please give me feedback!

As you can see it's not nearly finished but the new Phonecanvas is a pain to skin!
video call and smart dialing?
it looks great and if it can have video call and smart dialing enable it will be prefect
waiting for actual release
cheers.
Yes everything will still work, also I will add all answered questions the to FAQ, so if you don't get an answer it's already been answered and probably in the FAQ.
Thank you =)
Looking great so far, If I had anything close to a VGA phone i'd love it.
Wheres the download? kidding of course
Looks good so far. Keep up the good work and Thanks!!
On omnia??
Mate,It is easily the best dialpad skin that I have seen so far. Its soo smooth. I love it so far. But the problem comes here- I have a qvga screen,so that means I wont be able to use your skin. But as you said you will port it to qvga later, I'll wait for the completion of the skin and porting to qvga.

You don't know how much trouble that'd create. A guy's thread was closed in the Theme, Apps, and software section of the diamond section because he started to charge for his themes. He was charging like 2 euro.

True. But the point is, if you're going to offer freeware, keep it freeware. Don't say it's freeware and make it shareware once it gains popularity.
it's looking good, i think you should add a "themed" watermark somewhere clean to display props to your hard word
Thanks for all the feedback!
I won't make it payware, that's not my philosophy.
Though I'm still looking for a way to make just a little bit of money with all the work I'm doing and have done so far.
Another thing I've thought about is making it donateware but the problem there is that some people just can't use paypal or realy don't even have a dollar to spare. I don't want zo prohibit certain people from using my software though I want that people who can donate, also give a little donation to show their gratitude.
I mean, all the work I've done here on XDA has cost me a lot of free days/weekends. And sure, I also make them for my own phone but a lot of times I also add features or customize graphics to user needs just because they want it and not because I'll use them. (throttlelauncher weather, landscape dialers, vga dialer when I don't even had a vga phone at the time, etc.)
So in the end my software will remain 'free' but I hope ik can trust the XDA community leechers to give something in return. Or else I might just stop releasing my work on XDA.
Please understand this. It's not a threat, it's a request!

Now for some onther stuff, I realy like how things are going with the skinnning. Not nearly done but I'm getting there.
I need some screenshots of your devices.
-I need to skin the VideoCalling screen but I don't have the ability to use Videocalling so I need someone to make some screenshots of that. I need as much of the graphics as possible, so also the brightness modifier and other things you can think of. Please make a bmp screenshot with mymobiler and upload it on a different site than xda. (xda will resize it and compress etc, making the quality bad) Please send me a link in a PM so the thread won't get cluttered.
That will be all for now, sorry for this leap of text.
looking good pauld and glad to see you back hope your health concerns have not got the best of you and good luck going forward.
would it be a good idea to allow cookers to create issue trackers in the wiki and link the page to the first page of their threads.
that way when someone has an issue/fix we can say "add it to the wiki" and they can see if the issue has already been reported and any fixes that users have associated with it?
it also give the cooker one place to look when they come to support that rom
Anybody can edit the Wiki, it wouldnt neccassarily need to done by the cooks, why dont you start it off and turn this useless thread into something contructive rather than another cloed thread!

i know... that's the point! everyone can edit it for their issues. but we'd want the cookers to adopt the wiki page as their issue trackers.
I will create a page for the NRG 2.5 rom tonight.

I'll keep an eye on thread, and see as you say, if something better might materialize out of it. But, as you stated yourself, this would need to be adopted by a number of chef's for it to work properly.
Hi fallen spartan
I have created a wiki for two roms:
miri wm 6.5 manila 2.5
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Miri_wm65_manila25
nrg wm 6.5 manila 2.5
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=nrg_wm65_manila25
could you add them to the first posts of the two threads in rom development?

Hi,
I noticed you had added links to the 6.5 ROM list on the Wiki. I updated the table just now and moved the column for the issies links nearer to the left. I also took out the language column as the table is getting too wide, and we can group the languages as shown in the revised table.
There is also a post about listing all the ROMs on the Wiki as this has not been kept up to date.
See the post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=565960
I think I have captured all the WWE 6.5 ROMs which have active support for them by their chefs and they are listed on the Cooked Roms page
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blackstone_cookedroms
Let see what others think
made this post in another thread... (apology for cross-posting)
great idea! i'd like to offer the following suggestions:
add a column for ROM version. i know this is for 2.5 Manila, but miri may have 2-3 2.5 Manila versions in circulation at one time. standardized selections would be great (although i'm not sure it's possible)
consider adding a standardized "feature" column/tag. might help with searching or filtering responses. for example, a standard features list could include: SMS, Twitter, Weather, email, contacts, data connection, sounds, alarms, etc.
are these easy changes to make? i ask because i'm not familiar with the wiki edit process.
Good idea, i like it!

Guys the problem we have is two fold.
1) The Chefs are releasing new ROMs with increasing regularity
2) The Chefs rarely (and this isn't a pot shot) retrospectively fix issues in that ROM - they fix in subsequent ones.
I am fully for this idea but I see the above as massive problems to overcome for it to be useful. We risk putting Chefs of cooking ROMs but asking for such increases in bug fixing and ROM releases will naturally decrease with that.
I am not saying I either want this or don't - I am simply pointing this out. I have a number of issues with my current ROM that I would love sorting out...I don't want to be chopping and changing my ROM every two minutes in order to fix a small issue - however that being said, I also want Chefs to continue their excellent work.
Let's be careful and sensitive to what we are wishing for?

It's pointless in any case unless the cookers agree to use them as a bug issue priority list of sorts. I'm not sure that these guys have sufficient time to do that.
Having a list of issues is one thing....the list of fixes is going to be another entirely!

hey wiggz, while i understand your concerns i don't fully agree with them.
The idea of the issues tracker is different for different users:
People that don't have the rom:
these guys will be able to look at the issues and associated fixes (if any) and decide if they want to flash the rom.
People that have the rom:
They can look at the tracker and add new issues, track fixes and not have to flood the thread with things like "GPRS keeps connecting halp!!" after every two posts. Also, fixes can be given to a wider audience rather than someone saying "look a few pages back… this has been fixed"
Cookers:
Cookers can TRACK the issues, they can see what is wrong with the rom and either
A. fix it in this current rom
B. apply the fix or test the issue in the new rom
C. do nothing as there is no fix
The idea is that:
Duplicate posts will get reduced
Fixes get the visibility that they deserve
New roms can be regression tested by cookers, beta testers and normal users.
I think you got confused with "suggested fix"…. I am not asking miri/nrg or other cookers to fill out the form, it is for their reference.
The suggested fix is for ALL users to fill in. if the cookers/other users find a fix then the best place to put it is in the wiki and not on post #1006044 on page 1902309231
You dig?

Miri has now added this to his thread. Still waiting on response from NRG
I totally get it - perhaps I was simply focusing on the negatives a bit too much.
The fact is when I'm looking at a new ROM I want as much information about issues as I can so I know whether to invest the time or not.
However more often than not my issues stem from small issues that arise in ROMs but are never fixed. For me, the EnergyROM Leo would be perfect if I could just send MMS messages (the 'fix' hasn't worked for me).

Himalaya is undestructable, why we should be afraid xd?
You could change wallpaper only, and most people will find this rom as new shiny stuff, it works always :x Look what does that korean or something other asian guy, who posts new roms almost every day. He JUST changed icons, just added some oems that he even don't know what they are for, and believe, that new build = better build. Most people think that it's true. I don't. New builds are unstable in most cases, there are only few shiny leaks that should be used (for example 21884 or 23563).
Try to ask that guy where are xipend or how to rebuild initflashfiles, I wonder that he will answer (or he will copy someone posts).
Also I hate double-or-more language roms.
it is ****ing wwe forum, wwe roms should only be accepted.

First of all, you should put OEM packages in DEVICE dir.
if you have SYS dir placed in SYSTEM\SYS you should delete it as fast as you can, it shouldn't exist.
old kitchen style SYS packages (which is compatible too) is SYSTEM\SYSTEM, you and oems is SYSTEM\DEVICE
SYS directory shouldn't exists when greloc is not working, if it exists after a rom has built, delete it. It seems like relocation error (if greloc will fail, my launcher does not rename SYS into dump, and everything hang)
Also, in output box, in new beta kitchen, you should see at end a line like
"Free sectors: Blablab"
if it is FFFFF89F or something similar, no boot. If it doesn't appear, no boot.
If it is like 0064 (4 hex digit but bigger than 0, at least 1), rom will boot.
Check it out
Also, can you send me that oems? Pack it and upload somewhere.
OEM's are attached.
I am using aerokitchen 5 as i think it is more simple. so i will be using that for now.
i will try cooking with the oems in device and i will get back to you.
thanks for the help!
