ive just installed latest version of s2u2 (i update most my soft religiosly) and what do u know!? it now has slide qwerty to unlock option! in my humble opinion, s2u2 is Best lock\fullscreenCallId combo soft, though, i personally only use callerID option, cause lock screen does drain power, however its much better in latest updates and if u disable a few options battery drain is minimal..hope this helps, mate, for more in4 IM ME AT [email protected]

I have the Vodafone UK WM6.1 rom and I think this is a new function but when the screen is off and you slide the keyboard out the screen automatically switches on...does anyone know of a way to turn that off?

Ther is an option in advanced config tool to disable that function. Just instal that app and turn it off.
...dunno whats the sense of this Q, but why the heck would ya slide out the keyboard and not wanting the screen to go on?
...maybe I'm missing something...

Personally, I disable the slide wake function. When putting the phone in the case, sometimes I wake the device by pushing on the slide to get it in the case. Therefore, I disable the slide wake so this does not happen and then end up activating all sorts of apps while in the case.
maybe our friend is addicted to seeing his keyboard
but i think P1Tater gave good justficication we dont want to have our devices doing things when we dont want them to do !!

hi all.. currently using one or two apps such as diamond tweaks, sensorlock etc, but havent found a way to do this.
What i need is a way to turn off the screen completely (ie zero light) instead of dimming it. I know standby will turn it off, but this will also kill my apps.
Is it possible? Any apps/tweaks?

DiamOff from Montecristoff will fit your request
I use SPB Pocket Plus v4.0.2 which has a screen toggle option. With the Buttons plug in you can use a hardware button to activate the screen toggle.

I dont like using s2u2 as it drains too much battery.
Is there a way to lock using power button with WM lock?
Or is there another lock prgoram that barely runs with any usage in background?

I think HTC have some app like this on HD2. Maybe someone have cab for it?
Using WM6.5, latest CHT, CHTeditor, and LockDevice.
Using LockDevice so that, when I hit the power button to turn my screen off, it locks the device at the same time.
Also using CHT's HD Mini lockscreen, because, well, it's pretty sharp.
The problem is, LockDevice uses the default manila lock screen. So, what happens, is I have to unlock using manila, then unlock using CHT.
I know Cookie is currently working on the lock screen, but is there any way to make these two programs work together in the meantime? Or any way to get CHT's lock screen to work when I turn the screen off, so I can uninstall LockDevice?

probably your problem might be fixed in the upcoming Version of CHT (1.8.0). Currently the CHT Lockscreen doesn't replace the default WinMo 6.5 Lockscreen which causes your double lock problem. This is a known issue and if I understood it right, this should be adressed in the upcoming version together with many other improvements of the lock screen.

One more thing. Are you using DeviceLock just because it locks the device when you press the power button? This functionality is currently build in with CHT, using it myself. In CHT Editor, go to lockscreen option and activate "lock in standby". That should to the trick.

Yeah, for some reason the power button device lock wasn't working properly on my install of CHT. Not sure why.
Anyways, I upgraded to the latest Energy ROM, and CHT 1.8, and everything works wonderfully now.

Really loving my HTC One. I like the keyboard and dont want to change it, but it has one annoyance.
The keys on the keyboard popup when pressed and I cant find the option to turn this off. Does anything one if this can be turned off?

Just use a 3rd party keyboard cause AFAIK there's no way you can remove that unless you mod the keyboard apk. which requires root and a developer interested on what you want.
