looking for 235XX or 280XX ROMs with no manilla
I want to try running only with TITANIUM and maybe SPB MS3.5
any links ? (exept EnergyROM Phoenix)

Most that I have run let you disable Sense and enable Titanium (Windows Default). Does this not work for you?

well, I'd rather have no manilla and have extra memory for the MS3.5
having both seems too much memory consumption (baring in mind that I install a few more apps along)

Yeah one without manila and only titanium would be nice to try. I had titanium (well a version of it) running on my old dash and it was great to use.

look nice, but...
1. every time when i power off/on (because there is no restart button), the phone restart itself and restore factory default settings...
2. camera button don't work
3. camera and video resolutions are messed up
4. voice record button don't work
5. weather plugin missing
it is beta i port new version 23017 i must fix bugs

this is final version of wm6.5 but not stable stable version i upload soon
Its working verry smooth and fast,, thank you for your hard work.
The problems I found:
-Formating to factory defaults after turning on, everytime.., Realy enoying.
-Camera looks green and wrong size.
-Active sync wont connect...
keep up the good working, If you are done fixing these bugs I think its the best ROM exits.
Titanium working should be nice. Hopefully it wont take a lot of memory?

Modaco 3.2 but that should works from 3.0 up always make nand backup befour apply if somtjink dont look good you can restore old system
Im install all but I do it many times and somtimes browser icon dont change so I must open thm and install only that one again.
Someone can like it someone not I understand that so tell me what you want to change I try do it in next version

I don't see why not. I may be wrong, but I think you can just pull it out of any rom and install it like you would any other app.

I made some tests..
Home switcher don't event support froyo..
Btw service like dwm and other htc stuff remain alive like service..
Removing that with adb the problem is "solved"..

Sure it is... removing your chair would solve the problem of sitting. You would have to stand then
You don't need to remove things just because you temporarily don't want to run them. But if you need space on system partition for something else... well that's another story.
BTW, Home Switcher is working just fine with my ROM and there is no Rosie service running...

Just Azure, Cyanogen Nightly, SuperFroyo, etc, very good roms, but I guess I want to use official Froyo no sense because it has implemented improvements to make in the 2.6.32 kernel and not on the 2.6.29, although using the 2.6.29 has the advantage that can be overclok.
I personally think like you, if I put Froyo with sense is because I like the sense, if not I would use SuperFroyo sense to use, Azure, Nightly, etc.

I need it so i can't use azure o nightly (that i used for 2 months).. right now i catch the train every day and i like to surf with my laptop and listen fm radio..
But i hate rosie and other widget so why keep it in my memory?
using home switcher isn't good, if you don't want rosie and sense widget removing the .apk from the rom it's a better solution

I have removed all sense related apk (+ the widgets) and add many other things to the Vodafone ROM, flash works just fine...
And in the case of Neon87, he used his laptop to browse so it should not be a problem, no?

Hopefully, because this is a crappy system you get out of the box. To many running apps that takes to much ram and slows down the system. To many pre-installed apps. So i'm really looking forward to a custom ROM. Does any one know how custom ROMS are made?

to remove those useless apps u dont need a custom rom root is enough to disable them
i sure hope there will be good roms but not because of the apps

How do i disable them?
SuperOneClick v1.7 worked fine, so my phone is now rooted
U can delete the apps. (Backups)
Or just rename them change ****.apk to ****.bak for example. Dont know if this will restore on reboot.
Maybe someone else can answer to this. Perm or temproot?

I just opened SuperOneClick v1.7 and pressed the Root button, and then it told me the my phone was now rooted.

You can install Titanium Backup from market and uninstall them.

And remember to make a backup in titanium so u can restore the apks if u want
You can use rootexplorer to remove or move apk from /system/app. Preloaded fsecure is slowing down the phone, just delete it.
To make custom rom we need clockwork mod recovery on 2X
I have used z4root, and installed Titanium Backup. Is there any danger to uninstalling apps that are pre-installed?

It all worked fine. And i have made backups. As soon a good stable rom is out i'm done using this from lg. If i download a new home launcher, will the old one still use any resourses other than space?

No, you can disable lg home launcher from “home selector“ in the main menu. i have ADWlauncher instead of lg launcher and i don't see lg launcher anymore in system processes

What do you mean by "home selector" in the main menu? I don't have my x2 yet, so I suppose it's something special by LG? I don't know this setting from my HTC.
