How to install with nk.nbf u Update Utility with WM 6.5 in spanish.

I have a MDA Vario (great pda) on english
ROM 2.17.7.2 WWE
i do want to flash it to 2.18 on Dutch, when i do i get a VENDER ID error.
So i used Awizard to unlock the CID first en then option W to flash the rom. I use 1.13 beta 2.
But when i select it (optionW) there are no ROM's availlable i have extraxt the ROM package in the ROM dir.
It is a nk.nbf file and when i am reading other threads i seem to need a *. NBA file ??
Anyone have a clue ?

Just unlock the CID and upgrade it with the Rom Update Package (the executable with the Rom and update program).
Should work without any problems.

I have a Vodafone VPA Compact II (HTC Wizard) in German.
I will relocate to USA and I want to update my phone OS etc. into English (Cingular ROM).
I know that I have to first unlock my phone and I used both Lokiwiz02b and aWizard 1.3 beta 2 in order to unlock my phone. And these programs let me know that my phone is unlocked.
"Your phone is now unlocked...."
I have tried both "U. Unlock" and "C. CID Unlock (SuperCID)".
Than I have tried to install Cingular ROM "RUU_Wizard_225111_22511102_022511_CWS_WWE_Ship.exe" but I still get error msg 294.
Than I tried other Cingular file "Cingular_Custom_AKU2.3_Combo_Installer_V1.exe" and it was installed without any problem. But I have still German in my phone. As I understand this file installs only Extended ROM of Cingular.
Now I need to install an English ROM and when possible a Cingular one.
Any tip?

I have found a solution.
Lokiwiz02b does not work for AKU2 ROMs. I've just downgraded my ROM into an older version and than applied Lokiwiz02b CID unlock with success.
Than I upgraded my ROM into new Cingular 8125 one and works great!

I want to flash my 8125 with the qtek9100 rom, but the nk.nbf file will not work with it...where can I get one that works?
Should I use the Cingular nk.nbf file with it?

can somebody tell me how to update from wm5 to wm6 i dont understand the tut from shelltool and the rom update doesnt work it close after a minute

I've just flashed my MDA Vario JUHU! I was stucking at the same point.
1. Flash this 1.05 ROM (don't forgett the EnableRapi.cab)
2. Do this unlock and the "CID unlock"
3. Reboot and flash AGAIN the 1.05 ROM
4. AGAIN do the CID unlock
5. Now reboot, the SPL should be 1.05
6. Now flash to 2.26 and then to 3.08 again

Then use WST_v4.2.2 for checking if unlocked.

hi i have a 8125 wizard and i am try to upgrade it from wm 5 to wm 6.5
and it keep saying i need a newer nbf file and i dont know why. when i go in boot loader mode it says ipl 3.08 but is that to new for some roms or am i doing something wrong. please help i will give you as much info as you need thanks?

i have 8125 running windows mobile professional 6.5 flawlessly
upgrading from 5 to 6.5 is easy once you know the steps
i know what you problem is
i had the same problem
i have the programs you need i can upload no problem
you need the ruu version no id
do not try using vista or windows seven it doesn't work
windows xp mandatory

check you ipl and spl version number tell me
1.08
or
2.25
you can skip a lot steps if don't need to sim unlock
if you have you original cingular or att sim card no need to sim unlock
