Any info about the slidelock? It's not mentioned on the link...
that sidelock.exe runs in pda... pops up a "TRIAL " window and then I see the slidelock... works nice. and unlocks properly... but I have to search and run the sidelock.exe again..... to get it started if i want to lock.
havent ran the theme sucessfully yet... i think its going to need a Beta updated for WAD... lets see.
Yeh I tried the slide lock. Presently I have the whole theme installed. I activated the slide lock by mapping it as a shortcut from the clock, so tapping the clock locks the device...could grow annoying in time if I accidentally activate it, but it hasn't been a problem yet.
You could also make a specific button in WAD to link to the exe, but I don't use the clock/alarm preference panel much, so it seemed like a good fit for me.

The trial notification is pretty obnoxious. I'd love to know who made the program. Is someone planning on selling an iphone theme? Seems like asking for apple's lawyers to beat down your door.
And you need a qvga device to view properly
I have the dialpad skin installed only, and it looks (and works) very well indeed.
I'm using it with rest of SPB Mobile shell (who missed a trick by not properly skinning the dialler) and am starting the really enjoy my prophet.

It seems ok, nothing like tzywen's tho, not as smooth and if you let go of the bar it doesn't slide back, just reverts to the default location.
Doesn't seem any way of registering it either? Perhaps they'll build in a timer version as well, which would be the whole point of it anyway so it can "lock" the device.

Yes, great app works well but tzywen's seems better.
Any suggestion with the screen lock's popup?
I've discovered a bug. If i'm in the screen lock and open the slide keyboard of my hermes, screen turns into the landscape mode and don't unlock! I can slide it do nothing.

I didn't install any flash player. But it works...
I just have .NET and Netfront 3.3 installed. Maybe the Netfront supplies a flash player ?
Btw, I want to map this to a long press button with AEButtonPlus.
However, I can't get the application in the "run application" list of AEButton Plus.
How can I add it to the list ?

anyone know who made the iphonelock? I would love to have that trial version thing taken off! And, would love to beta test anytime he needs help. Would be nice to have a timer to automatically lock it after a certain period.

here is the re-compiled slider lock.. it doesn’t have a month + day names.. and it’s not fullscreen, you can use the top start bar when the slider is running..

I'm about fed up with TouchFlo 3D, nice but pretty useless and I REALLY miss the Cube from my Touch Dual, much more convenient and doens't waste CPU cycles, so...has anyone installed it on the Diamond ?

Its not so simple as switching cube on. Cube is simply not there in our Diamond. If u try to install this Cube configurator from the Elf thread, u'll see a multitude of errors, missing files, etc. Cube may be functional here, but we'll be needing all those files
Yes, that sucks, the CUBE is x times more useful than TouchFlo 3D IMHO.
There must be a way though because it was added to non touch devices.
i dun think we'll have to descend to the non touch method, they use flash. i'm sure if we can get the Touch Cruise for example, and get their files, and put it in, it should work? i think

Thanks, but what I like about the cube is up and down the gesture to bring the contact list and then left to right for the various tools. The Contact list would be enough actually.

Any news guys ? I was so happy with my Touch Cruise but bought the Diamond for the 640x480 screen and faster video playback.
The TouchFlow 3D looks fine but it's very useless to me, The old TouchFlo Cube from the cruise could be swept away and you had your normal windows todayscreen.
I tried the Cube thing SPD Mobile Shell but the old originall CUBE is way better I think.
Any solutions ?

Here's my Blue WM7ish Coreplayer skin. It works on my Dell Axim X51V pda (VGA display). Don't have a device with a QVGA display so I don't know if it works on devices with those displays.
To install drag the skin.cps file into the Coreplayer folder where the executable resides.
I've used an XML settings file generated by others, in particular ArtemKa030390, just played with the graphics a bit.

looks good..but didnt work in my HTC touch...let me confirm a few things.
1. im using HTC touch
2. TCPMP version is 0.72RC1.
i copied the skin.cps file in the directory where TCPMP player is installed. then fired up the player but still got the old skin. am i doing something wrong?
i guess the skin is for core player (wich is not free) and not for TCMP
how to do the installation? someone pls help...

Hey beta_boy … the XML generator? My effort was more of a learning exercise to see how CP skinning works. Thought I'd start of with something simple before attacking the XML file. I wasn't in the mood to sit down and read the 50 page manual at the time ), so I just leveraged of some of the work done by others.
74 pages is the old one.. the new one when we update it for CoreUI is gonna be a lot larger.
Anyway... looks good... let me know if you have any questions.

Guys... with 1.3 we are going to be releasing a new v2 interface that is light years more advanced and finger friendly then the v1 interface is atm and really showcases many of the CorePlayer technologies built into the platform.
Now the v2 interface will not be 'exactly' like our iPhone/Touch interface for CorePlayer but they are similar and have many relational functionalities. Actually the work on the v2 interface has been on going for a while now and was long before the iPhone came out last year.
Anyway my point is... many of the current Universal Skins/CoreUI elements are going to be changing, so there is no guarantee any current skin may work with 1.3.x as we have a lot of changes coming on the interface side of things. But some of the good stuff is that in 1.3.x we will add support for transparencies and overlay pictures as well.
But it is exciting to see someone 'sandboxing' some skins ;-) Have fun!

Well... we don't like to talk about release dates as they change here on a daily basis. But I can say is after the iPhone release it is planned to be released next.
So I've got a version of PocketNester that works fairly well for my HTC TP altho it can be super slow and almost unplayable without sound. Add in the fact the keyboard mapping is flat out retarded (user error?), I wanted to see if anyone recommended anything better.
I'll gladly take an equiv emu (sega or other?) but would really prefer NES or SNES. Any advice for something a bit more updated/recent much appreciated!

BUT! There is a later release on this post here that I accidently stumbled upon, see Post #1085, and the developer has a newer version available that fixes all of the Touch Pro and Fuze keyboard issues, plus improves VGA landscape support for us. He needs to update the main site with this release, but it's much better, and plays quite a few systems, and is significantly more up to date than MorphGear.

I'm having this problem too, and I've tried every emulator under the sun. The only emulator that works perfectly with my AT&T Fuze is the playstation emulator (FPSE beta). I can map any key I want on that and it works, while the others (smartgear, morphgear, snes-emu V.1.12.2) are just messy, even with KforTP!

Okay I tried the newer version of smartgear and the buttons work but just like the old smartgear the emulation for SNES ROM's is so messed up it's unplayable.
I should also remind the OP that Morphgear's button settings do not work on the Raphael. Even with KforTP, the buttons work, but they are completely messed up on my AT&T Fuze, up is left and down is right, and even after knowing that and working around it, the buttons still mess up and I could never get a perfect button combination where up is up and down is down, When I did get button settings close to my liking, they would reset and the buttons would mess up all over again!

I made my own skin for the Swype keyboard that looks like the HTC android keyboard but its only VGA portrait. I have no clue what will happen on a non-VGA phone. In landscape it is the original Swype skin because I don't need the landscape version.

After a short experience with xdandroid I'm back in Winmo. Here's what's new, I'm calling it Swype 11 due to the new year:

I've now started to update the keyboard and skin to the newer version (3.9.10.10.5032). I got the keyboard from PPCGeeks (cheers to jj62mtp, the second post). I know there have been issues but apparently this one does not cause any and it has worked flawlessly on my Telus HTC Diamond running MightyROM6. This skin isn't even close to being finished but again I'll only be doing the VGA Portrait version. Here's a taste of what I've got so far.

Hey yea sure, all you do is open the .cab with a cab editor (I've used WinCe Cab Manager, but to download it's only a 30 day trial). In the files you then extract all the .bmp files, and then just edit them to this skin (lol I've been using paint so far). After they are skinned, replace the old skin .bmps in the cab and save it.

Um... well my diamond whose resolution is 480x640 is running on mightyrom wm 6.5 and your resolution is 240x320 so if this program can adjust the skin for the size the ratio is still the same... the buttons might be a little small for you. but honestly you'll have to try it to find out. worst comes to worst i dont think it will crash your phone so no harm there (but dont quote me)

Hey guys I have an HTC 8900 Tilt running WM6.1 and I installed swype 3.9. When I go to use the swype keyboard on the touchscreen, the keyboard was way too large for the touchscreen. The touchscreen fits less than half of the keys and theres no way under the options menu to fit the swype keyboard to screen. Attached is a picture of what Im talking about. Please help!

Don't know what to tell you... I was running 6.5 and your screen resolution is different... that might be the issue

One major problem: if installed, then uninstalled, the original swype is uninstalled, too, and causes error message to appear when rebooting phone. Error message is something about a missing English file. To get swype back to working, I had to reinstall your version of it. And, the keyboard is a bit too small. My phone: A Samsung i920 Omnia 2 WVGA.
Anyone know how to get back the Samsung Swype version without hard setting the phone (not gonna happen), please let me know. I would appreciate the info. I've searched a couple other forums such as Modaco and PPCGeeks but Swype company has forced them to pull the file off their forums.
