HELP! Tilt goes to sleep on it's own

I have only had it for 2 days. It was fine the first two days. Just now, after 10 seconds it goes black, to sleep mode. i have to press the power key to get it back on. I do not have any of the boxes checked for it to go to sleep on it's own. I don't know why it's all of the sudden started doing this. Can anyone shed some light for me?? TIA.

Xperia Keeps Shutting Off

Help needed here...
My xperia has no cracks on the case, but occasionally when i slide it close it switches off...i've tried putting paper to hold the battery up and it seems to work, however, now sometimes by xperia just turns off when it goes into standby mode and wouldn't come back out of hibernation...sometimes i can juz turn it on with the power button, sometimes i hafto remove and replace the battery...
happens on a few roms i've tried so far v-lite, touch-it, and sex1
any help appreciated

that has started happpening to mine
first it just started in the day it did it about 5 times and then i took the battery out and put it back in and that seemd to fix it
now it does it when sliding the keyboard in nearly every time
if anyone could help please

Phone randomly turning off

Hey guys,
My xperia is just randomly turning on by itself. Not sure if its a software or hardware problem. The other day my phone took a nasty fall so its possible its hardware.
Before I was using Christrians Rom and now Im using Spikegotti's infinite rom and still experiencing the shutdowns randomly. The radio is the 1.16 one.
Usually it will just be in my pocket and when I take it out and press the power button to take it off standby and turn it on, it actually starts up like it was off.
Also sometimes when its starting up and it shows the sony ericsson screen, it will shut off there too. Ive searched for this problem but couldnt really find anything other than the standby of death problem, but not sure if mine wouldbe the same since my phone shuts off even while booting up.
Any suggestions?

[Q] Screen flickering after restart from phone freezeing

I got this phone (Xperia X1A) today and when it froze, I pulled the battery out for 30 seconds, and put it back in. After it turned on and everything loaded, the screen was flickering and I could faintly see it was flickering the old screen from when it froze.
If you don't get what I mean, say for example, I had a clock app open, it freezes, so I take the battery out and do a restart. When the phone starts up and loads everything, I can see it flickering the clock app really faintly from the point when it froze.
Anyone had a problem like this before, because when I googled this I didn't get any information on this problem happening.

Next time your phone freezes try to use the reset button at the back of the phone (beneath the battery cover).
The screen of my Xperia X1 sometimes flickers too after the phone switched off because of an empty battery. But it stops after 30 seconds or something. It does not happen when I use the reset button or switch the phone off using the power button.

Thank you. I just only figured out where the reset button was on this thing today. It doesn't flicker when I do that.

Solution to WakeLocks

During 3 weeks after my device (S3 mini) go to water I have constant Wakelocks: My phone never enter in sleep mode also sometimes he turn on the screen alone then he turn off and again, he turns on . Sometimes the screen was off but he never enter in Sleep Mode.
As probably you guys done, I read all the threads in every forum and runned all the software diagnosis, shows a guilty RILJ, Wake Lan and others. Flashed several times different Roms, returned to original ROM and nothing, I blame Google services and the draconian instistence for try to know my location so I turn off even the account and nothing...
So after several Roms installed suffering the same problem the answer for the problem must be outside, in the hardware, and that was I pointed.
I started with the rigth side button, (turn on button) I changed it in a telephone store and no luck. so I opened the phone (like several times did) and disconnect 1 of the 2 connectors (the lower brown one) that are plugged in the mainboard and came from the screen and start the phone and put the most simple software to test the Deep Sleep Mode and...
Yes, my phone start to enter in Deep Sleep like he must do like always did!
So the problem is in the screen button, the physical one. for some reason he is scrub, maybe the water, maybe damaged but he is the only one who can Wake the phone since the rigth side one was replaced.
I have 2 choices to finally fix this problem try to replace the screen button or try to find the way to override the wake command from him.

This guy, Umair Gujjar, give the solution to finally solve the problem of my WAKELOCKS. I know the guys who never rooted their phones will have problems to make this step, but if you are here, probably you already did it. And as my, probably you will be able to solve the problem.
