Dunno... just unlocked the CID and don't bother myself with that any more

You know what, Erbol. My HK version D810 just went dead since my last trial flashing a Taiwan version ROM. and its CID is corrupted. I tried million ways to reflash it but still no light of hope. I have been waiting for HK ROM release. so I will try this again on my dead D810.

Have you unlocked the CID before flashing the Taiwan ROM? I got mine from HK as well and after CID unlock flashed different ROMs w/o any problems.

When I start to install it says version 1.23.707.6 (the old one). Can you please tell us where you find it to be version 1.23.708.4

It looks like 708.4 is Chinese version

can anyone upload it to ftp or like something like raidshare. coz download via is very slow

i just update it and... 1.23.707.6
is a dopod rom, without the green theme, with screen locker, an icon to connect to dopod official site and little more....
when i just finished it say me that my phone operator doesen´t works with the ppc, but it seems all right, gulp!
i think is not necessary to upgrade it.

Well, in China we have asia, europe and even T-mobile HD7. Most of the HTC phones went here by smuggling.

The problem is that the bootloader on the HD7 is kinda region locked, so you can flash Asia roms only on Asia Pacific phone. For example i had an HK phone in chinese and i flashed it with an Asia english rom.
Did your phone come with 8GB or 16GB memory? Asia phones are usually 16GB models.

The HD7 doesn't have Chinese support yet.
we might have to wait until the end of the year.

flashed uk i9305 with Portuguese rom

Hello all!
I am a noob so apologies in advance if this is not where it should be and not described how it should be.
My father in law yesterday had an galaxy s3 lte i9305 Orange upgrade and gave it to me! I however am on Vodafone so with my tiny little brain I set out to flash the phone with a Portuguese Vodafone firmware! This has not allowed me to use my UK Vodafone SIM and now left the phone with the custom firmware.
Is there any way at all I can reload the original UK firmware in order to sell the phone??
Any immediate help will be greatly appreciated!!!

will take you less than 5 minutes

You don't have to sell it unless that is what you want to do.
You can have it SIM unlocked for about £17 on web.

Thanks guys for you responces! I have looked at samifirmware but can only see firmwares from outside of the UK. Do I have any options to try and restore it to its original firmware??

Take a look at this firmware. It's labeled "Sweden", but under regions, it also says UK. Should work, I guess.

I did have a brief look at this but none of the sites I looked at had the s3 lte just the s3 as an option, are the unlock codes likely to be the same?

I will try this now. The portuguise version I have has th UK option but a few portuguise apps also download and the default language is obviously portuguise. I really would like to restore it to original if there is a way.

Hi guys, I'm a big n00b in terms of flashing as well.
I'll get a i9305 from Hong Kong in a few days, which obviously will have a HK firmware on it. The problem with that firmware is that it only supports 6 languages. I live in Norway and want my phone to be in Norwegian so I wonder if those firmwares from the UK support all languages or only the language of the region included?

To restore original UK Rom download checkfus from the market and write down all the info for pda phone and csc etc and enter them on the pc checkfus app and download the Odin Rom from there!

If you want to install the official Everything Everywhere (Orange) LTE firmware, download and run Check4us. This lets you choose model and region then provides firmware options. Select the UK version, download, flash with ODIN and you are done. All back and working as a new Orange set up. As it's a vanilla Samsung install you might find it works for Vodafone although you will need to search the web for Vodafone APN settings and update the phone accordingly.

mainly because i bought it off mobicity, and it came shipped from hong kong,
so im not sure if its running australian firmware or hong kong firmware.
and what will happen if i flash a different region firmware?

It is no problem to flash any stock firmware from any region.The waranty is not be losed.Just flash STOCK firmware!

i also got mine from mobicity and as it turns out to be a global version , although they said they get their mobile from different country's

Well .... you can check with the numbers below the software info in the image mine is 1269-5309_10.1.A.1.434 THIS IS THE GERMANY FIRMWARE
With these numbers you can know what and where is the phone from

you will have to check it by opening *#*#7378432#*#* > service info > software info > 1269-5309_10.1.A.1.434
Then the ( 1269-5309 ) this will be different. But most of the users in the world have the german Xperia z or they flashed it to the german ftf

How did you figured that is German firmware? If this is true, in Slovenia we all have German firmware then, but no update to 434. Also we don't have any network or simlock phones here.

Hi There,
I just purchased HTC 802W (China Unicom) with dual Sim card (WCDMA and GSM).
The problem is, I hate the Official firmware (no Google Apps, no Facebook for sense, but full of useless chinese apps(at least for me)).
So I just want to know if I can install another RUU?
because Hong Kong Version or Singapore Version must be more usefull for me.
oh... did somebody try the developer RUU?
Can I install it in my device?

sorry to disappoint you but the ans is NO you cannot use different RUU as we are s-on,
for the ruu you have match the CID,FIRMWARE,ETC you will have to live with this
OR
Unlock the phone and install custom ROM but this voids the warrenty
