I love the original scoreboard style Black & White clock of the european style Diamond. For some bizarre reason the American release has a nasty black clock with white letters.
Is there a way to patch the clock to use the original B&W clock which looks much better (I dont want to flash a whole ROM, just change the clock).
Thanks
J

NIce! Thanks so much this looks a million times better
So im working on a themed eclair and the others but want to know what colors people would like to see.
I always preferred grey + light blue with unified icons matching the overall design.

White and Black versions would work. Common issue with black themes is that search, music and power widgets stay white or from Community Hero theme. I prefer XRom black widgets. Also in Black theme the drawer tab should be black too or transparent. One color for highlights is also needed. Whether it is going to be blue or green or stock orange don't matter as long as it is consistent through out the theme.
Black w/ either blue, green, yellow, or stock orange highlights. Also add in Eclair transitions w/ blur menu bounces
Hero-like theme with Advanced Launcher, Ted's launcher bar, black notification bar with Hero icons and for the regular icons, Eclair. Blur animations. Black themed widgets. Compatible with Cyanogen. Basically like pdudek's Orange Hero theme but with green highlights instead of orange. Ted did one a while back like this but stopped that theme and hasn't updated to even the latest Cyan releases for over a month.
Multiple versions with different color highlights in each version would be a plus, such as red. Pcmaniacs has something similar with his theme, but he changed the notification bar icons to 3D ones and has started changing some of the text to the highlight colors as well, yuck.
I'd go to a Hero ROM but I've got to have Bluetooth, or else my Bluetooth headset won't do me much good...
Black with blue highlights dark and slick custom drawtables, widgets the only way to go lol
How about a yellow eclair theme?
I'm working on one, but it's so time consuming.
What ever you do DONT match the icons with the theme! I hate that. I get these nice theme like icons that look nothing like all the other icons out there for apps.
theme the bar
i been searching the forums for weeks looking for a themed hero rom where the bar is transparent or completely invisible. can you do something like that?
I'm running CyanogenMod and applied a couple of metamorphs.
Including black Desire notification bar and green power widget.
They all worked well but when applying the "all green" morph, highlights still stay orange.
I've found this is only with the homescreens because everywhere else the highlights, text boxes, etc. are all green.
Is there another way to apply green highlights to the homescreen?
Thanks for any help.
Hi all.
I would have posted this in the MIUI forums but I'm having problems signing up.
Basically Iv been messing round with my themes in MIUI and was wondering if someone could help me out.
See i like the stock black and white bar with the percentage, but was wondering if someone could incorporate this with a black pull down with blue icons. Like the notification area in reDARKend 2.4 Special, but obviously with the stock black and white icons on the notification bar, and completely transparent on the home screen?
I have tried applying different status bars but all the ones with the stock like bar have a white pull down which conflicts with the white notifications text used by the current theme.
Oh, and also can anyone tell me how i can theme the keyboard? I want it blue and blck, like everything else i like my theme to match throughout
I throw down a glove and give this challenge:
A theme which makes widgets and icons look like their holo shadows when being dragged across a stock-like ics/jb homescreen (apex and nova both have this too). I should probably clarify: when you are adding and moving a widget, the crosshairs appear in the background and as you drag the widget, a faint blue outline version of the widget appears in the position where the widget would snap to.
I would like a theme which makes the actual widget look like that.
Any takers?
This picture may roughly show the idea that I had in mind:
