I throw down a glove and give this challenge:
A theme which makes widgets and icons look like their holo shadows when being dragged across a stock-like ics/jb homescreen (apex and nova both have this too). I should probably clarify: when you are adding and moving a widget, the crosshairs appear in the background and as you drag the widget, a faint blue outline version of the widget appears in the position where the widget would snap to.
I would like a theme which makes the actual widget look like that.
Any takers?
This picture may roughly show the idea that I had in mind:

Does anybody know, where I can change the font colours of the widgets.
I change the background colour in my widgets to another colour.
But white isn't so good with white fonts.....
Could anybody please help me?
The only way I found I could COMPLETELY dustomise my homescreen, widgets, widget font colour and highlight colour was using a home screen app.
The best I found was Ahome but not sure if it works on the Hero.
Oh no, I want to make rosie nicer.
The widgets are just okay. Only the fonts in white are ok with bright backgrounds.
GDE is the best Homescreen Replacement at Hero.
But then I loose the HTC Widgets.

hey folks! i just thought i'd stop in and drop a line about phantomy2g's Blue Galaxy theme. i have been researching and testing this theme for about a month and a half now, trying to figure out how to get home screen weather working with the Blue Galaxy theme, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431655
i have come to the conclusion that it CANNOT be done. i tried meshing the home settings from a working M2D rom with home weather, replacing files, all sorts of CABs for M2D with Home Weather, and several other possibilities, all to no avail. but, i did find a way to mix everything from Blue Galaxy except for the clock with a rotating blue clock by Twolf. i also replaced the clock background file and the home weather background file with transparent background files to make it look better and keep to the black, white and blue color scheme. it looks GREAT! anyway, i noticed some folks were inquiring about getting home weather on the Blue Galaxy theme, so i thought i'd let everyone know that i found a way to work around it. it doesn't have the digital clock that comes with the Blue Galaxy theme, but Twolf's rotating blue clock with a transparent background fits right in with the Blue Galaxy theme. i also figured out how to install the Blue Galaxy theme on an M2D rom that already has home weather (typically the white flip clock) and still maintain the flip clock with home weather under it. i'm at work right now, but when i have time i'll post instructions on both methods. in the mean time, if anyone would like to know how to do it, just PM me or email me at [email protected]

I would be very graetful if someone knew this A have ADW launcher EX and when i download and apply Buff theme from market almost all my icons change in the drawer and home screen but not all are changed in the drawer, how can i edit them and change. When i put them on home screen i can change them but dont know how to change the ones in drawer. It just looks silly, about 10 stock icons among the buff ones.
Hi
I have launcher pro and ive made the status bar transparent. My problem is that launcher pro crops the wallpaper and so there is a black bar at the top of the screen(status/notification bar). The only way around this is to use a live wallpaper.
Ive found multi live picture wallpaper but there are a few issues. First it doesnt let you scroll the image left and right as you can with a normal wallpaper. Second it is extremely slow and laggy. When rotating the screen it takes at least a second or two to load the wallpaper back in.
All I want is a live wallpaper that is exactly the same as the normal static wallpaper chooser but it is instead a live wallpaper so it actually fills teh screen behind my status/notification bar. Anyone know of such an app?
Maybe try switching launchers? I use the ADW Launcher and I have to say it works much smoother. The above errors you stated, I don't even recognise.
You can find it in the market
I've already paid for launcher pro. I cannot find the widgets that come with it else where and id rather not pay for them individually if they exist.
Launcher pro is brilliant, apart from this one flaw. Its just finding a fix...
I use launcher pro and I don't see any black bar when I hide the notification bar. Are you sure your wallpaper is of the right size?

Hi snapper,
I'm not hiding the notification/status bar. I've made it transparent, "glass like" so that you can see through it.
hi, i have adw launcher ex and am using icons from and icon pack Fluxed ADW Theme but, like all themes and icon packs, there a few missing one that i need to complete my screen. the pack has not been updated for a year.
i can set a cropped picture as an icon but how to get the transparent rounded corners?
is it possible to just create a few random icons without getting involved in making a whole theme pack? (which i dont know how to do anyway)
