Hey guys
If I get a metamorph of any theme, can I JUST flash the look of the pull down portion of the notification bar. I am using superD and love the look of the notification bar but, I do not like the stock look of the pull down.
anyone ?
The pull down bar is part of the framework-res file, which contains and is linked with a few other files.
You can download a theme, look at the files that the theme replaces to get an idea of what files those might be. Then metamorph or push those files individually from adb.
just look for all the stuff that says status bar background and status bar close and settings header to whatever you want (same file type...)
while we are on the subject how come my framework-res doesnt always flash? sometimes it does... sometimes it dont same phone same file...
upcoming: HHGTTG theme... its too cool not to share.. but still not done

Anyone who wants to play around with the status bar at the top by changing colours e.g. from standard black to white just edit the file attached. Leave it in png format and the name as it is. Just edit the colour. Use adb or metamorph to include it in a theme or your choosing. And only place it in the following 2 folders - framework-res\res\drawable-480x320 and folder - framework-res\res\drawable-land-480x320.
It may not be necessary for both but it works for me. Jus thought to pass this info on. Cos Im working on icons. All creds to Ratcom as I was searching for this in one of his themes and Foxy Editor dev as I can edit the colour on my phone and also to the dev of Astro for making it easy2copy and paste
cheers guys/girls.
then how will you make the clock and date font color to black? becuase white text on white bar wont be visible.
Jm still playin around with other files at the moment. But when i do findout it"ll be on here.jus wanted2share the truble it takes for newbies
I was wondering if it is possible to install a fully working white notification bar on the Evil Eris ROM v3.0. I've tried searching the forums and have installed the bar successfully, but the clock is white on a white background, which is extremely annoying. I've tried fixing it with the new spare parts by changing the clock color and still no go. Any help would be nice. Thanks.
try going into the zip file for the white notification bar and changing it? I dont know, im basically a noob, just about a year of experience
Changing the clock color requires you to edit the services.jar file. Do a search of the entire site on changing the clock color.
I've done it before but it's not easy. Requires smali and baksmali and opening up a classes.dex file.
So, I used the AXMLPrinter2.jar to turn the status_bar_item_background.xml to a human readable file. Then I put it into my MetaMorph zip, and it's causing reboot looping.
I wanted to know whom knows where to make the Notification Bar transparent. It seems there is a color hex some where in an xml because after I made a transparent png there was still a black background...
I was looking for places to download notification bar icons that are already properly sized. I am using ninjamorph to apply them, but really do not want to have to search through the roms and pull the notification icons from within the apk. I was hoping someone already had just the icons grouped together for a quick download...
Thanks
Not sure, but is this what you are looking for?

Okay so I need help with notification bar icons editing.
I've successfully changed the icons and it looks good on my phone but there's a problem with the battery icon.
Im using ClassicalGas's JAMT theme icons and his battery icons has 1-100. So I copied those battery pictures into drawable-mdpi folder but when my phone has for example 90~100% battery, the icon shows 100% and doesnt change. When it has 80~90%, the icon changes to show 80%.
Im guessing there's something wrong with animation or something? Also, when Im charging, the icon doesnt change too. Please help me, i've attached my framework-res.apk and ClassicalGas's JAMT theme res folder.
I would really appreciate your help! thanks

Classicalgas's Icons/Theme
from the info youve given,
i assume whatever theme you are using doesnt have accurate battery mod,
hence it only shows a certain mark
You need to replace battery xmls too, not only images.
Or you can use UOT kitchen to change battery.
