I'm running Mobile Shell 3.5.3 on my Kaiser with Shifu V20 ROM. On my last Abusalza ROM I had no problems with the backlight widget but for some reason this no longer works correctly. Sometimes the widget button itself becomes invisible on my SPM home screen and when I manually adjust the backlight in Settings the icon will magically reappear. When I tap it and select a different lighting level this has no effect on the device. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yeah I had the same problem, but didn't find any solution though
i'm using SPB MS 3.5.3 on stylez 4 rom and everything is ok with backlight button. btw SPB Mobile Shell RULEZ

I downloaded the spb shell theme and I really like it over manila because of landscape support. My question is when I put it in sleep mode and then turn it back on from sleep and enter my unlock code can it automatically go into the spb shell theme instead of me hitting the shortcut to launch the screen.
If it makes any difference I'm using the 25th january hperdragon rom or whichever is in january at the end and doesnt come with manila 2d cooked in.
Yup, you can set it to automatically start on the Now screen. Go to mobile shell options, Now Screen tab, and tick "Show the Now Screen when device wakes up."
You might try reading the manual, as this program has a lot of wicked awesome options. Also try searching this forum for mobile shell themes. I'm currently using the 'field' theme, and it's gorgeous as well as highly functional.

haha ok thanks but yah i figrued it out i just needed a program from here called spb watcher because when i unlock the phone with an unlock code it would go to the today screen but now with spb watcher it automatically goes to the spb menu.

i am using the deepshining 6.1 ROM with windows mobile 6.5
I want to use the nice build inwindows mobile lockscreen. I enabled the autolock so the device locks when turning off. Turning on again you see the wm lockscreen and two seconds later TF3d appears over the locked screen. That shouldn´t happen. How can i fix this Problem?
I had the same problem after using a customer WM 6.5 ROM. The only solution I found was to use S2U2. It is working good so far.
I constantly switch between TFLO3D2 and Titanium, so I have the regular 6.5 lock mapped to the right softkey on Titanium and I have S2U2 mapped as the right softkey on TFLO3D2. There has been no fix for this issue yet.

Hi, guys...Ive just installed the 3.0 version over the 2.0 (which as we know can work as a panel) and instead of only replacing its predecessor's place, the new mobile shell changed my today screen ( TouchFloLeo using NRG's rom ) and I could no longer use the touchflo but only the mobile shell home screen. So the question is how to make the new version work as a panel cause I can see some of its advantages over the touchflo but it still remains something experimental to me. So I want to have both of them as different alternatives .

after installation i have the softkeys and the menu button on top over mobile shell so i dont see all the icons.

It should try to be on top by itself. Sometimes something might bounce up, but rarely. Reinstall maybe
It doesn't work with the new build of WM6.5.. The taskbar on bottom covers everything

I recently found this issue too in a newer build of WM6.5.1
Fixed on my phone by removing the 'PositionFix' shortcut from \Windows\Startup folder (followed by soft reset)
At the moment it runs on top of the today screen, and the soft keys actually overlap SPB 3.5.1..
so is there a way to run SPB as a panel?
I believe you can use a program called panelizer with a wallpaper and link the shortcut. There was a thread for it try searching.
It turned out that the panelizer is quite difficult to use. But if you can make a working version, please share. Im interested too.
