BA_TMAT_10601_159_10000_SHIP0307.exe
Can be found on wiki
Is there a new T-Mobile MDA Compact English ROM? It seems only T-Mobile is capable of creating stable ROMS.

HTC ROM/Radio Upgrades?

Are there any "Official" HTC ROM or Radio upgrades available for the Kaiser?
I have been all through their site but the support section doesn't have any software downloads available for the unbranded Kaiser, only for the AT&T Tilt.
Thanks for the help. My device's current info is:
ROM Version: 1.56.405.5
ROM Date: 08/28/07
Radio Version: 1.27.12.11
Protocol Version: 22.45.88.07H

If you have an unbranded HTC TyTN II, you must type it's serial number on the HTC e-Club. Then you'll get access to the updated WM 6.1 ROM.
There's a ROM from May with 1.65.16.25 radio and another one from July with 1.65.17.56 radio (which works much better)

Thanks for the tip. I got the WM 6.1 update from the site no problem. However I didn't find a radio update on the HTC site. Were you referring to the radios available from the XDA site?

Isn't the radio included in the ROM image (single NBH file with radio and OS)?

Thanks for the heads-up that they've sneaked out an additional update (without making it at all obvious). I updated to the first version with my TyTN II and have had GPS problems since (which HTC have refused to address). Will try this version with the newer radio and hopefully that issue will be sorted - my fingers are crossed!
To adress the last two posts, yes the radio code is included and it (should) all be updated at the same time - hence the file naming includes the radio code. I'm about to give it a go now.
***Edit*** It's better than the other radio for GPS but still not as good as the original WM 6.0s GPS with the 1.27 series radio.

Rom Update

Apologies if this seems a basic question.
I know this is a place for experts but i've honestly checked for hours for an answer to this and cant find one. I've a second hand touch diamond which was bought on ebay. I dont know whether or not I need to update the ROM from the HTC website( as i've heard it improves certain aspects of it).
My present settings are as follows:
Rom Version: Duttys DiamV2.5 WWE
Rom date: 12/10/08
Radio version: 1.00.25.08
Protocol version 52.33a.25.17U
Its originally an orange phone (UK) and I'm using it in Ireland.
apologies again if it seems too basic
welcome to the forum
if you have duttys rom on the phone...his new rom is here

before you flash...read the 1st few posts in that thread...or if unsure as a question in that thread

Original Blackstone ROM

Hi All, I have had a search and can't find the answer to my question. I am about to flash my HTC Touch HD to Dutty's new 6.5 R8 ROM and I wanted to make sure I can go back to my default incase I either don't like it (which I doubt after reading everyones posts) or the phone has to go back for warrenty.
I have found some original ROM's on Dutty's site but the version numbers don't look like they match. mine are as follows
I am on Orange and in the UK
Operator Version: 34.119.1.611
ROM Version: 1.19.61.1 WWE
ROM Date: 11/25/08
Radio Version: 1.09.25.14
Protocol Version: 52.49a.25.26U
The closest one I found on Dutty's site is BlackStone_HKCSL_WWE_1.19.831.0_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14 or RUU_BlackStone_Orange_UK_1.14.405.3_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14
If I restored either of these would I still be ok on the warrenty front? or is there away that I can extract my currently installed ROM and then restore it if needed?
Any help would be greatly recieved.

Brilliant Thanks. There is a closer match there but still nothing with a complete match. If I send it back can they tell from the serial number what versions should be on there? or is there a particular version that is more important than the others? i.e. the ROM version?
there is a release of a newer rom than yours on the htc site
so i guess that if you had that rom installed and your hd needed to go back under warranty then you should be fine as it can be considered an official update by the manufacturer

Thanks, I didn't realise that HTC released ROM's for download. Thanks for both of the replies. Much appreciated.
As long as you have an official HTC upgrade rom on your device you will be fine for warranty

"New" HTC Tilt

I just bought an HTC Tilt on eBay. I am pretty sure that the previous owner flashed the original ROM, the info I can find is listed below. I don't use much data, I am interested in running android on the phone. If I read other posts correctly, I have to run android on top of windows. I would prefer to hard flash the ROM if possible but if not, no problem. I have HardSPL and CidUnlocker from the "Flashing Your First Kaiser Rom" post by mskip.
I am looking essentially for a decent android OS I can play around with.
If I can hard flash the ROM I take it I will need to flash a new radio also is that right? Do I need a new radio if I just soft flash?
Any help you can provide will be appreciated

Just head over to the Android subforum, just be prepared for a leess than stellar Android performance, especially if you are going to compare it to modern handsets with a lot more muscle.
