hello guys me question is
I want to disconnect app from internet (wifi+3g)
In short I want to run the app offline how can I ??
If you have rooted phone, you can use some app from g play store...
I have avast! mobile security installed - it has firewall included and successfully block/allow internet access for apps i want to.
I think you can use titanium back up or other like application to break market link or stop being connected to internet.

Hi,
I am so disappointed that none of the banking apps are working on the One. I am trying to use HSBC & Barclays none are working. I don't have this issue on Nexus 4.
Did you guys come across this? Any solutions?
Thanks
Barclays works on mine, havent tried any others.

Thanks, I will reinstall and try again.
The natwest app works but the Santander UK app doesnt work yet
HSBC doesn't work. First Direct works great. Don't know about others.

I've only tried the HSBC one and, as others have said, it doesn't seem to work properly which is disappointing.
The Nationwide (banking) app doesn't work.
The Capital One (credit card) app works but won't show all data.
The Halifax (banking) app does work - but it's a hybrid (web) app as opposed to a native app.
I'm pretty sure that some finance apps are accessing the IP stack without using the standard Android settings as they won't work when you setup a proxy (Nationwide app included) - which may explain why there are issues.
Thanks guys for the feedback, I hope there will be a fix soon as these are very important.
As I said most annoying is that these work on other devices so it must be something to do with HTC.
I wonder if this will work. I got the app installed, but my main stuck point in the set it downloading the firefox extension.

I haven't tried this yet but I have tried other bluetooth like tethering apps and it almost always crashes as if there is some library missing on the gear that it needs.
I was able to get the app installed and running on both devices. No success with internet sharing though...

Part of the issue is that open garden requires proxies in Firefox. Sadly you cannot access the settings to manually configure them. OG does have an auto add but only if you can access the internet.:banghead:

Hi All,
I tried all GPS Widgets available on Google Play but none seems to be functioning. Some do nothing and most of them will just open the GPS phone menu, where you have to activate GPS manually. Is there a way to turn on/off the GPS via one-click shortcut without root?
Thank you.
The simple answer is (unfortunately): No.
Just use the quick settings in pull down menu?

That's location, not GPS. There's a slight difference.

Correct, using Location from the Quick Settings does not allow to turn on GPS only without having to confirm over and over again not to allow Google access.
