Anyone heard if this is possible?
Hmmm...I'm interested in that too!
I saw a repack of the requisite files floating around elsewhere - I might give installing it a shot and see what happens.
Worst case is it hard resets my device or shoots freaking laserbeams across the house, hitting my brother's girlfriend, which at the moment I would consider a useful feature...
culd some one post a picture of it running on treo 750 ?
what means touchflo? .. give me link or explanation.. thx

I think with the touchflo interface, the 750v would be near perfect!

Simmiter....if you get hold of it and make it work...can you post a few pics and give a comment on your expedition?
Cheers

I went ahead and install the 5 tab htc today plugin and played around with it. Their seems to be a stability problem as the treo now would randomly reboot itself. I tried installing it after a hard reset and it seems okay but started rebooting again after installing my apps. got rid of it for now... hehe
just installed the 6 tab htc home no trouble so far awaiting the probs though
hey guys i heard that the 3 tab works with our 750...i heard it somewhere in the touch threads...btw id we install it, with a simple uninstall and a soft reset, will it get everything back to normal??? or a hard reset is what we have to do to get it normal again...btw where are you guys d/l'ing the touchflo for the 750 from???links please...
hey I have actually installed it on my Treo its loads with no probs. However there are a couple of conflicts like not being able to access the dial pad or call log via the call button. I have even experienced this error while clicking on call log or dial pad. After a little research I found it to be a conflict between the htc home and palm software. Simply clinkin on the left hand corner to initiate the x button pop up I can then click on both the call log as well as the dial pad with out a problem. As for the touch flo cube it does not fit the entire screen, I assume this to be just be the treos 240x240 screen. I also noticed the cube to be slow in it's revolving. If we can get past the conflicts and adapt the program to the treo's screen its possible we might even get it to run as smooth as it does on the artemis. I am shocked at the few interested in advancing such a feature on the treo. I am sure once the cooked roms start to surface we can truly unlock the power of the device.
which touchflo program did you load and where did you get it?
Issues...
Another issue with the Touch Flo Home on the Treo 750, is that the green and red button don't work correctly anymore...
Normally, when you press the red button, the device go to sleep mode, that don't work anymore...
When you press the green button, you don't have the menu with the last call...
That's very annoying for my part...
So I uninstall the Touch Flo Home. Try with the Kaiser's Version and have the same issue...
Touchflo on the Treo 750
Does anyone know how to contact PDAViet? He would be our best option. He may be kind enough to make a rom for the 750 ?? Holding my breath ...
TouchFLO and HTCHome are two very different things.

Can someone send me the File for both TouchFLO or HTCHome? Thanks.
I'd like the link to the CABs of the Touchflo and/or HTC Home that anyone has working on the 750.
Thanks in advance.

I installed the 6 Button Kaiser HTC home plugin on my Treo 750 and have no problems with it @ all. As for the green and the Red buttons, all u have to do is add the "Dial Lookup" to the Today screen and the green and red buttons will work perfectly.
HTC Home and TouchFlo are 2 totally different things. HTC Home is the Today Screen plug-in, TouchFlo is the 3D cube, finger scrolling etc which was 1st introduced in the HTC Touch phone.

HTC TouchFlo is not as easy as just a cab to install. TouchFlo needs to update files on the device that can't be changed will the OS is running, n that's why TouchFlo has to be cooked in the ROM
Ok....
With Dial Lookup checked, the red and green buttons work! Thanks for that.
The problem now is that there is wasted screen real estate below the Kaiser plugin for the network carrier logo.
Hidelogo causes resets so don't bother.
and if you try to type contacts by name they go off the bottom of the screen. is there a way to use the screen better?
does anyone know if there is an iPhone skin for the cube application. and also i cant seem to find the program to link the CommManager. it doesnt even say the name on my HTC Home screen. its just blank and im afraid to change that one
There's some iPhone icons here and the CommManager link on my Kaiser is at \Windows\CommManagerLink.exe.
Ive Tried Various Software And Cant Figure It Out.
what exactly are you after? I'm a little confused.. do you have a screen shot to show what your after?

To do this you will require either htc home ,spb, manilla, or throttlelauncher. These applications actually replace your home screen to give you these tabs. There may be a shortcut menu application but any way you look at it, it isnt a native part of the OS.
FYI,
HTC Home, Manilla , Throttlelauncher are free apps you can find by using the search buttons
Thanks. I Know About All These Apps But Ive Seen Screen Shots And Plugins That Didnt Use These Apps.

Note.... a plugin is an application. Not a part of the actual rom. Again, you are looking for an application that will do this.
I hope this clears things up for you
Tabs like this ?
http://wm6.handster.com/programs.php?id=6&for=WM6 tabs
or
http://review.handster.com/product-review-pda.php?id=137&for=WM6
or

**Edit**
If you can provide us with a screenshot of the specific application you are referring to, im sure someone here knows what it is
I Think It Has To Do Wth Editing The Home Settings Xml File
Is there any cabs out there that I can install on my Tilt to have the same looks and effects?
For Reference:

Yeah....use search next time.
Are you referring to these? (screenshots below)
They are all taken on my tilt. It uses the old beta of touchflo 3D, diamond tf3dc config, and the at&t theme posted in the diamond forum.
What does not work is the touchflo 3d still will not let you power your device down, randomly freezes, and is very very slow.
Edit, and i almost forgot the resizing that the smaller screens have to do makes it look 'dirty' and not so clean cut as the original.
I was referring to this:

The screen shot seems to show Manila working in landscape mode.
That is already in touchflo 3D, though, not working.
An alternative was something for manilla 2D that uses mortscript and shows a display much like that. Its somewhere in development and hacking.
Thanks I really appreciate it as well as your awesome sig. It certainly explains why I couldn't find a cab when I did a search.
No problem. I just wish I could tell you what the name of it was, but I don't remember (as I never used or had a need for it.)
I have searched and searched, so far all that have the same issue as myself have not had an answer that works. I am bringing this to a new thread, in the hopes it will trigger some ideas on how to fix this.
I do know how to use the search system. I am usually a lurker, having the Diamond (NOT Pro) for a little over a week.
I have tried a number of different things to try to STOP the screen from waking up on a new text message. I have tried everything except the older version 3.2.. of the advanced config utility (I am reluctant to downgrade to older version as I have changed many things and have noticed that if you switch from one config utility from another will not work the same way, example is with TF3dconfig I removed the weather tab and forgot to reset all when I uninstalled it for the 3.3 version of advanced config. I try to re-activate the weather tab in 3.3 and it will not take-alas, another issue for another day). I have a Sprint version of the diamond. The DisableSMSWakeUpEvent does not work on my sprint diamond. It does not show up in the registry and when I create it, it still does nothing. This seems like such a silly thing to not have the option of adjusting in the oem configuration. The Pro has it, why not the non-pro version.
Many thanks for anyone that has a suggestion on how to get this screen to STAY OFF when a text comes in. Perhaps even a lock on incoming text that will be unlocked by the light sensor.
I have also discovered that TF3D does not like gsensor rotation. I wanted the text message to be landscape. Tried Gyrator 2, could not get it to reliably not rotate when a call is active. Tried changescreen, great easy to use, but TF3D overrides this. It works the first time or two, then the TF3D changes it to portrait. I did find that adding a rotate command to a registry entry (found in the forum) then assigned the 'green' phone button long hold to rotate. Works well and is easy as sometimes I do not want it to rotate.
Sorry for the run on, many thanks in advance for the help and insight.
Jeff

A bump to see if anyone has a solution, many thanks for taking a look.
