Skype is not working!

I've tried:
[June 14]L26_Kaiser_Diamond_V8_light release
[June 18] Death V4 Business edition *NEW VERSIONs* up
[15 June] HyperDragon III WM6.1 WWE ROM OS 19588 Build.19588.1.1.4 (Diamond ROM)
And yet skypeformobilepc still doesnt work, it worked on one of dutty's roms but i dont remember which...what's going on?

Use WM6.0 then skype will work.

Dutty's was WM6.1, and also the cookers stated that skype works with their roms...but no prevail

i did, that was the dutty one that skype did work on, but i started switching around b/c there were glitches with the contacts/missed call/received call/etc screen where it became white and the UI wasnt redrawn

there is an incompatibility with skype 2.2 and wm6.1... The cooked roms that it does work with are ports from other devices!

I vote TouchX by smaberg, stable and fast.
i used to be with ToichIt by itje, but even though they are always the latest builds always with new features, till v5.0 no version became final, always annoying bugs, a version later that bug was fixed but other 2 made there way in due to brand new ports of new features, first seen in itjes ROMs... didn't try latest final versions/builds.....

The last itjes ROM i used and was really very satisfied with it was v5.04. After that there were always numerous bugs to be addressed after install or the ROM just wasn't very responsive on my phone. Especially those rcc (or sth) versions did nothing for the speed on my phone, it was even slower. For the same reason i haven't installed touch x 7 and still use touch x 6.12 final rhodium, which I find the best ROM speed and stablewise. Therefore my vote goes to smabergs's ROM.

I used to use Touch It, but i changed to Touch X. I am very happy with Touch X 7 (Topaz) so far, no problems at all.
I tried german ROMs out, but I had some problems with them so I switched back to WWE. But the ones of chalid and YYYY are very good.

I changed roms a lot, but mostly I followed Itje from 2.2 until v9, so I voted Touch-IT.
I think Smaberg 6.2 and 7 are very good also, but I like the theme on Itje's roms better.
I'm not so fond of 6.5, so I tried a few of those for only a day each

i ve used Touch-it by Itje, no doubt its really fast but ve some bugs // sms = was not able to receive or send msgs, dialed call history = whenever u restart ur phone nd press call key u wont b able to c last dialled calls , its all blank, u ve to press end key nd then call key again to c last dialed nos. , internet connection = coudnt connect to the internet there were no internet setting in my phone after installing Touch it rom//////// installed Smaberg Touch X7 after removing touch it ===== no sms bug / got my internet settings back nd working fine / speed is really good not better but not less than touch it / stable / got so many preinstalled softwares like torch, mp3 trimmer, recorder, etc.. installed touch x green highlight fix nd finger keyboard......too easy nd no complaints//// this post is just for new commers who r looking for some rom to try on their Xperia as i was the 1 last week nd was looking for the same post like this/// no hard feeling against nyone neither itje nor Smaberg they both did a really gud job nd i really thanx them for providing such a beautiful roms...
nd 4 d experts m sorry if i ve written nything wrong bout d bugs or nythings else as m new in this web-site so i may ve missed something...
nd guys i ve'nt tried ny other rom if u ve plz let me know if there's ny other rom better than Smaberg's Touch X 7

Don't you forget to install connectionsetup.cab yourself after flashing the rom (not included directly in the rom because of a conflict with another software)?
For me: Touch-it from v3.5 to v9

yeah i didnt install connectionsetup.cab // like i said i may ve missed something thanx 4 pointing it out nd plz if u can help me with 1 more thing so dat i can try touch it again, cant do nything with d msgs, when i click on msg it says choose a account nd ders just 1 account dats is..Mail Setup no msg settings ! sent some sms from friends mobile didnt receive on touch it rom // ve u got ny idea wat needs to b done or if m missing some other cab..? thanx in advance

Manila with Weather Problem - Messages Out of Order

Hello. I just cooked a ROM with the new Manila 2.1 packages (with weather on home screen). Everything works great, except the messages in the manila messaging tab are out of order chronologically. Anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a fix? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, the new manila is beautiful. Here are screenshots of my ROM and the messaging problem.

I experienced that problem too when I flashed to Itje Touch IT 14
The only way to solve the problem is flash to another ROM
Yesterday I flashed to Valkyrie 3.5.52 FS with the new manila 2.1 and I don't have the problem anymore.. my text messages is sorted like it should ..

How did you restore your messages? Or have they been sent to you since you flashed it?

This rom boot longer than usual becouse i had to put some boot delay otherwise apps2sd does not work. apps2sd does not move dalvik-cache.
Rom does not include new radio. If you want new radio apply first version and later this one.
Feel free to test it.
IF you want to use this rom dont complain and dont ask for instructions everything is on this forum!

if you open the zip and look into the meta directory for the update script, there we can see how he does it

i was only interested in fixing gsm ringtone bug which is fixed in this release, rom was cooked with basix android kitchen found in chef central section.
i dont have time to do more

How much space is left on the internal memory after a fresh install of this ROM? Can anyone tell?

I don't recall, but somewhere around 90-100 MB I think.

Yes, root remains, and no A2SD included.

Works perfectly on mine, with Root of course.
Radio signal seems to be a bit better.

I have the same problem. Dunno if there's a solution. It connects fine but can't open any pages. It worked fine with custom tether.edify and rodriguez rom.

Same here, but wired works, and it seems like the 3g issue with arrow up is solved with this radio.

[Q] sense 3.0 + internet pass-through

hey there.. can anyone help me..?? i want a good Sense 3.0 rom which supports internet pass-through..
i have tried Ehab FG's Vivo Pyramid incredible s 1.35.401.1 and now am currently on newtoroot's Incredible S 3D-Beta 3-(GB 2.3.5 sense 3.0) i like this one more as it feels more smooth and fast but internet pass-through seems missing on both of em..
i have tried Android Revolution HD too. it had internet pass-through but it was mainly on sense 2.1 and didnt had ALL the functions of 3.0..
can someone tell me which ROM to try or any patches i can flash on newtoroot's rom for internet pass-through..??

i'm using Newt's ROM and internet-pass through is working for me. i've noticed however, that sometimes, i have to selected it twice to get it to engage. after that, it's working until i disable it.

which of newt's rom do you use ? Incredible S 3D-Beta 3-(GB 2.3.5 sense 3.0) or [MikRoms]-Newts Pyramid Beta 3[Sense 3.0 GB 2.3.4] ??

I've use Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ SensationXL/Runnymede on HD2 and Internet pass-through is working but... with some ussues. I'm fresh android user - comming this saturday from WinMo where Internet pass-through is a default feature via ActiveSync/MobileCenter and I use it almost all the time.
I'm not sure where problem is but the major problem in my 2 day exp with that ROM is when I turn off Internet Pass-Throug and switch to regular wireless/2G/3G I can connect to desired network but can't pass any traffic through until reboot.
