3d acceleration
Charging
3G
Screen rotation
Front buttons
Power control such as standby, works but no way to resume

Pics and video of the running ubuntu will be post soon!
Reserved for pics
oooo f..ck it a crazy! stupid idea. IMHO
andriod develoment
If I am correct there are 2 developments, andriod and windows, both have different pages
I think you can get more help if you put it in the andriod development page
oh, it is a great job
1 question: is it possible to run it from internal storage? I have Transcend Class 6 card which can't run Linux from
i don't think so,but i'm gonna try it tonight and i will also post the pics and the video!
If there is a dailer /message tool i will def try it .Have tried off storeage card before but was missing a couple of files, unpacked it wrong. I did "split" my card in two, one FAT and one ext2 partition. It was with the ubuntu for omni i belive.
you dont have to split it anymore you can run it through sd card directly.
there is no dialer for ubuntu right now, i'm gonna find a way to make it possible by developing a new one after finishing my exams,or by porting the android one!
@ZaxXx: running ubuntu from internal storage doesn't work for me!
My wifi doesn't work... I've already updated startup.txt with my HD mac adress but it doesn't seems to ok... Does it work with anyone else?
I'm surprised with the speed
The taskmanager says that the cpu usage is: 95% and memory 33MB of 102MB used...

Just FYI ive got the touchscreen working on this striped down version of a RC branch build of 7. Its very snappy and memory usage is down to 400MB after booting and it takes up 4GB of HDD space.
Id definitely recommend it to anyone with a shift, To get the touchscreen working set the Tablet PC and Human Interface Device Access services to automatic startup at first boot
Enjoy, Don't ask about where to find it or how to activate it or things that would get this thread deleted as its a must have for all shift users.
Is everything working ok? Wifi, shift control center, screen resolution?
Same as usual yeah it only takes up 4GB of disk space
Ok, thanks. I'll try.
Seems the only problem i could find is Office 2010 not installing because of error 1903, It can be fixed by copying the c:\windows\fonts folder from another instalation and not overwriting whats already there
Thanks for the find kashifsiddique!
I'm currently downloading this Build 7264 x86 I was wondering how big is the fonts folder? Would it be possible to post a link just in case other don't have another windows installation.
Looks like the fonts folder is about 350MB. I'll just back this folder up that I have before I reinstall. =)
Thanks again!

or
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MVUZIME1 .....zimage and modules
=====================================
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=852937
1 - Grab the "zImage and Module's" download
2 - Grab the "all 3d drivers and gralloc" download
3 - Grab the "build.2.prop. and froyo.user.conf.zip"
Extract the 3 following files from the downloaded files into the main directory of your SD card
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- libGLES_qcom.so
- gralloc.msm7k.so
- build.prop
Just edit "froyo.user.conf" and add these 3 commands below.(Should be close to the end of this file, located in your (android dir)\CONF\ directory"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
mount bind/sdcard/libGLES_qcom.so /system/lib/egl/libGLES_qcom.so
mount bind/sdcard/gralloc.msm7k.so /system/lib/hw/gralloc.msm7k.so
mount bind/sdcard/build.prop /system/build.prop
Finally, unzip the "zImage" and "modules.xxxxx" files you downloaded also in your main android directory, (replacing zImage when asked, and deleting your previous module.xxxxx file)
Then, download the 2 APK file's, "fps2d" and "com.adobe.air.xx" file, and try installing them within Android (double click on the file's within Android), run fps2 3 time's to get a good average.)
Hope this is helpful, that's me!! The more user's we get to help this, making it easy to understand and follow, the more we can help your progress with this.
will test in a bit, thanks for link.
It appears that this isn't compatible with the phone (AT&T Pure) it hangs whatever application tries to use the 3d driver.
edit- nevermind, seems to be functional, speed increase isn't really that noticeable though.
edit2- problem is file was named .so.so in original zip, mount path only includes .so

apri libGLES_qcom.so.11.29.10.ZIP.zip e metti libGLES_qcom.so dentro il primo livello della carta SD.
apri froyo.user.conf.zip e metti froyo.user.conf dentro la cartella con il nome "conf"

hello all sorry for my english
I have a htc diamond and I have the rom ralphusion lite with dual boot and I installed the rom-GEN Y_PX D_RO_STANDARD.7Z
I installed this rom for 2 reasons
1 other rom I've found I'm not work from Android
2 the only rom that I have found working has many bugs and excessive consumption of battery
GEN Y_PX-D_RO_STANDARD.7Z works fine
but I found 2 problems
1 when I go to activate the wireless tells me I can not activate
2 the room does not work .... or better starts, but you see a picture as the lack of a signal on a television
Now I tried changing the file rootfs.img
But changing this file is not part of Android
What should I do?
where I went wrong?
Thanks to everyone for the help and sorry again for my English
Well, i'm using Django Manouche ICS Rom x1.4 (before, i was using Flex Icer 4.2) and my problem is how i can made a swap between Internal SD with the External SD, because with the 6 GB of the Internal SD i can´t install a lot of games.
Sorry for my English, i speak Spanish!!
Thanks!!!
i have the same problem with yours...

Directory bind
For now, there is no way to make that swap. But there are other solutions, like directory bind app. It can be found and downloaded here, from xda, just search a bit. With this app, U can map directories on external sd, to internal sd. I'm using it with DJMX 1.4 and it works fantastic, stable. Using the m version of directory bind.

Just hijacking an old thread rather than adding a new one...
Has anyone tried hacking the environment variables in the framework so that the EXTERNAL_STORAGE variables point to /mnt/sdcard/external_sd instead of /mnt/sdcard?
It's not a full swap of internal/external SD, but it should mean that games and apps install by default to the external card without having to mess about with mounts.
If anyone has tried this and failed or just thinks it is a really dumb idea, let me know. Otherwise I'll probably just experiment with it myself and break my phone a few times...
------
Tried it out and it looks like it might work OK. Big thanks to Kyrie1965 over on this Xperia Z thread, I'm basically just porting his method over onto the O2X http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2239289

Hey everyone, I hope I'm posting in the right section because it's been a long time since I posted a thread on this forum haha
In my opinion, the screen on our G5 is great calibration-wise, however it lacks a little bit of saturation, especially since I was coming from a Galaxy S4 before this phone!
So, I remembered a little thing from back from my G Flex 2 days, called KPPD and originally found on the G4 forums (original thread is HERE), that allowed us to edit the screen settings natively even on the phones that didn't have the options in the Display settings.
Since we finally got root on the H840 as well, I thought I may as well try it out and BEHOLD! It's working!
It's relatively easy to set up and tweak, even though there's not an app to edit the settings. However, the file that contains them (postproc.conf) is pretty straightforward.
I'm running stock Nougat on my G5 SE (H840), but it should work just fine on any Qualcomm-based devices.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR PHONE MISBEHAVES, BLOWS UP OR STOPS LOVING YOU, I TESTED IT ON MINE AND EVERYTHING'S WORKING FINE, BUT THERE'S NO WARRANTY THAT IT WILL WORK ON YOURS AS WELL.
GUIDE:
Download the attached zip, which is just the original zip, from which I edited the config file to better suit our G5, by only adding a little of saturation (original is at 255, I put it at 275 which IMO is the "sweet spot"; everything else is unchanged.)
Either flash it via TWRP or extract the two files from it and copy kppd in /system/bin, with 755 permissions (rwxr-xr-x) and postproc.conf in /system/etc with 644 permissions (rw-r--r--). Use any root browser for this.
Setup a script to run at boot, either via init.d or with Rom Toolbox lite (I use it)
The script is
Code:
kppd /system/etc/postproc.conf
To edit the configuration, simply open the postproc.conf file with any root text editor (I use Solid Explorer's integrated one) and tweak the settings as you like, keeping in mind that 255 is default in case you mess something up
I didn't actually do much for this to work, none of this is my work so please head over to the thread I linked earlier on and thank @savoca for his amazing job
