So, I logged into my account to check on the HD7 pricing and it's there now. It shows 499 with a 50 dollar discount, bringing it to 449. I almost pulled the trigger, but I wanted to call and see if they could do something on the price. So, I did. And apparently, they don't have the listing in their system yet!?? Although, she did say she'd try and help out on reducing the price and would call me on Monday (the release day) to get it sorted out. My concern is on release day, I'm sure it's going to back ordered. Anyone else have any experiences to share?
Yes,I was able to order mine on Tmobile yesterday and got the email confirmation too with the estimated delivery date of 11/04( really hope so) and got a text message today that its being processed and will soon get a tracking number when it ships.

Maybe I should've just done it today then. I checked all day yesterday (so I thought) and didn't see it on there until around 0650 cst this morning. Now it's not on the site period. Maybe a few calls like mine and they realized they messed up. But, definitely let us know if they get it to you by the 4th. Or at least if I was you, I would call and complain if it didn't get there, no matter if they made a mistake or not.
I just logged into my T-Mobile account and looked up for HD7 upgrade. I am getting a price of $499. I am on Even more plus plan. So thats fair.
As far as the estimated shipping date is concerned, its showing up as 11/9. So I did not move any forward. I might as well pick it up on the 8th in the stores.

I came to the same conclusion.. I'd like to pick up the phone at the store.. and play with it a bit.. I'm still torn between this phone and the venue pro..
Yeah, I just logged in again and almost pulled the trigger. But, maybe you guys are right and I should wait until I get a chance to mess with it at the store. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it anyways and just keep my HD2 just in case I end up not liking it. Worst case scenario is you buy it, unlock it and sell it overseas for a profit anyways.
everytime i go to upgrade phone page it gives me an error !!
Sorry, please try again later.
Our systems are currently unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.
anyone else having this problem?
Nope, it shows just fine. Although, the phone isn't listed now. It did the same thing yesterday. It's there all day and then at night, it's gone. I'm still trying to hold out on just dropping the 450..500 after tax on it and see what Tmobile will try to shave off it for me at launch. But, trust me, I've just about put my card info in twice. And had it showed it be delivered before the 8th, or even on the 8th. I would've probably done it.
So I own my phone, no contract and I use TMO US service. If i go to the web site and sign in it wont let me buy the phone!...I mean how stupid is that..because I dont have a contract and I own my phone?...Every time I try to buy it it say Im not eligible for an upgrade even though Im not asking for an upgrade. Very frustrating, and bad business.
nevermind..
I also have no contract but I don't get that message about not being eligible for an upgrade.. it takes me to a list of devices I can buy..
Oddly enough, now it hasn't been up on the site all day. Here's something else to look for. If you just do a search for "hd 7" on the Tmobile site. The Samsung Galaxy Tab comes up with the HD7. It shows the button for upgrade, but you can't buy either one right now. But, it's an indication of it coming.
I guess they realised the mistake they made.I was able to order mine on 11/01 and the email confirmation said I will get it on the 11/04 but its showing in my order status that my phone will be delivered on the 8th.
Well i just got off the phone with TMO. They WONT let me buy the phone now because I dont have a two year contract. They told me I would have to wait till monday!..I told them how this was a terrible business practice..that they were turning down a 500 dollar sale and they basically said ...to bad.
Terrible way to run a business.

Sounds about like them. And come to see, they make many revealing mistakes. Like now if you search for the HD7 on the Tmobile website. It will pull that and a listing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab (no price though). You can hit upgrade, but unfortunately it won't take you to the order page like the HD7 did. Well, at least you'll actually get it on the 8th instead of it being shipped on the 8th.

Yeah, that is definitely terrible on their part. Who cares if you're on contract or not. It's a NO contract price that you're paying. I would definitely complain when you order it on Monday and at least get them to take off 50 bucks or something for the inconvenience. I mean you do pay for service every month just like everyone else.
I was able to get the order on 11/01 also. I talked to tmobile and they said that it was a glitch in the system. they said if you receive the wrong phone you can send it back. My card was charged $379 I even got a text message stating that it was being processed. so hopefully I get the phone on the 8th

$379? Wow. What did you pay for? Phone is $250 (before $50 rebate).
sorry I payed $329.99 for the first installment after that they charge $40 for 4 months. 329.99 + 160 $489.99

Oh you bought full price with installments. That makes more sense now. Haha.
went to go see the status of my order and it now says we are unable to retrieve the status of your order. Hope the phone is still being processed and hope my card is not charged if they removed my order. anyone else have this problem if you ordered it on 11/01?
I'm having the same problem: unable to retrieve status. And I have no tracking info when I try "track by reference" with my cell number on the UPS site.
Lost my phone, waited around for a couple days and didn't get it back.. So I decided to file an insurance claim with Asurion for a lost phone and everything went smoothly. A couple hours later, a good samaritan found and returned my phone to me.. I am calling to cancel and they are being a huge hassle and saying I might not even get my deductible back. It's labor day weekend and my phone is supposed to come on Wednesday so they definitely havent shipped it out yet. If they are being a hassle and not wanting to cancel it can I just keep the refurbed phone they are sending and sell it? My old phone I have is working just fine.
It's a droid charge by the way.

They should be able to take it back but if they won't give you your money I'd assume u can keep it idk for sure tho also since its new I doubt it will be a refurbished phone will be brand new more then likely
Sent from my PC36100 using xda premium
Refuse delivery on package from UPS or FEDEX and call sprint care and have them release the ESN via the repassist chat. You will be good to go, Make sure the Sprint rep notates this so IF you have an issues later with the bill you will be able to use the memo ID from CARE
EDIT: Phone will be a REFURB not a new phone
Anyone order from expansys usa? I understand that I can totally be impatient whatever but on their website it says if I order before 3pm I can have my device here in 2 days (paid extra for the 2 day shipping).
So I ordered it Sunday night so they would have plenty of time to process my order and get it out today by 3 but its only like 2 hours left and its still not processed or my card charged.
Am I asking too much to be able to ship a phone out in less then 6 hours? I evene emailed them hours ago that if anything was wrong or had any questions that would slow the process down to get a hold of me.
My time is running out to get this shipped out today...Should I just cancel and order from Negri or something?
I ordered mine from Expansys Usa on a Wednesday and it was shipped out the same day, about two hours later, and delivered on Friday. Free shipping too. They may not process any orders that come in over the weekend until Monday, so they are probably playing catch up. But if you paid extra for next day delivery, your order should take precedence.
Oh, by the way, if they say to get your order in by 3PM in order to guarantee same day shipping, it does not necessarily mean that they will ship at 3PM. This is just the cutoff time for orders to be received, but they can still be processed after this time for same day shipping. At least that is how my company works.
I don't know how this store gets good reviews..They haven't replied to any of my emails today and now I've been on hold for over 10min to talk to someone..
Its 4:30 and they still havent processed my order..
I will never buy from this company again..It shouldnt take more then a full day to process a phone order.
I had a similar issue with these guys. They didn't respond to my e-mails either, so I ended up cancelling, FWIW.

I researched for a week on where to buy this and they had good reviews from people on here etc..
I would have cancelled but I'm at work and had to hang up after 20min on hold...At this point I don't even want them to have my money but I can't stay on hold to cancel..
I won't even bother emailing them cause apparently they don't bother to reply after a purchase.

I bought my note from England website called http://www.clove.co.uk
and I was very happy with their prompt service... I mean it only took 4days to reach here in Australia... I thought their price is also quite competitive...
If you cancelled the transaction with expansys then suggest try this clove company ...

Hi,
I wonder if somebody can tell me a bit about the process since I never been involved in it before.
This is my situation...
I have 2 DE ones waiting for me in a friend's house unopened but I'will have very limited time once I get to the US to choose one of them (hopefully flawless and return the other one.
I was thinking to start a RMA process for both of them and then once I made my choice return only the other one, hopefully if the first I open is good the other would be returned unopened...
My questios are,
how long is the RMA number good for? I mean does it have an expiration period? if so how long do I have to ship the phone since the time they send me the number.
I'd like to have everything lined up to do it the very first day I get to the US that's why I'd like to start the process in advance
The other one...
From the time you request it, how long it take to get the authhorization and what info is needed (apart from the order number/details)
Thanks,
Actually you don't have to kick off the RMA in advance. Just hit the link in your order confirmation mail and select the RMA (it says "If you would like to request a return or exchange click here").
You then follow the RMA process and select whether you want a refund or exchange. Finally you can print a UPS shipping label straight away and drop it off at a UPS store of your choice. It's ground shipping and may take a few days to arrive at their warehouse. They will approve the return. They claim it takes 2 business days to do so on their website but my friend is waiting for his refund for over a week now.
Long story short: Initiating the RMA and shipping it back to them is fast an can be done in minutes. After that, you might be end up waiting for weeks until you got the money back, though.
Wish you luck. If not, sell it via Swappa, CL or ebay.

Thanks for the info,
Yes I got to the point where I needed to input info and then stopped (just in case the time started counting)
As far as reselling it....
I thought about it but I never sold anything online (bought a lot of stuff) but I'm not sure I want to go through the whole mess in case the phone has some QC problems and then all the haslle that that might imply with a not happy buyer.
Thanks for the info though...
Good morning,
I just received my Note 4 two days ago, and am getting ready to mail my old G3 back to T-Mobile. Considering this is a 500 dollar phone I'm sending back, I plan on insuring it. My question is this. Are there any options, or is it even worth it, to send the phone via certified mail? I've read horror stories online about T-Mobile losing phones that were sent back due to a Jump upgrade, and then trying to pass the cost onto the customer. I was browsing the USPS website and I could only find options for certified letters, but not packages. Would it even be worth certifying it or would it just be better to get insurance on the item?

Definitely send it certified mail (green and white slip), that way you can track it. You can also add on a return label (green slip), which will be mailed back to you once they have received it.
Insurance wise it shouldn't cost that much...just do it if you can.
Congrats on your new note 4.
Thanks for the quick reply. Even if the certified mail is 20 bucks or so, it's better than T-Mobile throwing the cost of the phone at me when they inevitably lose it.

One quick question. I noticed in your signature you listed T-Mobile @ 107 mb/s. Where were you that you got that at? I'm lucky to pull 20.
Trust me do not send any phones to tmobile especially US mail.. I had a nightmare of a situation which I'm still paying for it to this day.. To make a long story short http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1824833

Insurance means nothing if the item shows up as delivered and tmobile denies even receiving it or the box was empty or the phone isn't as described.

I'm not sure what your options are... but I know I'm handling future transactions via T Mobile stores just to protect myself from the crap that's going on in that T Mobile warehouse in Texas.
Good Luck.

Just talked to my local T-Mobile store and the only option I have is to mail it back. I'll be insuring and certifying it with receipt acknowledgement. I won't be going through this again. Next time I jump I'm doing it in store. The stores have great customer service, it's that damned warehouse in Texas that screws everything up. This return label though is going to York PA. Maybe it won't go to Texas and everything will be good. Regardless, I'm getting a tracking number, it's getting certified, and it's getting insured for the full amount of the phone.

I had the exact same experience a couple years ago. I returned a Note 2 that I had purchased on the website. When I called a couple weeks later to check on the status I was told that the package was received and that it was empty, that it only contained accessories (and they treated me like a thief in the process). I was told this by many different people at their call center, always with the addition "if we find it, we'll let you know and credit your account". As if you can just "lose" a phone out of its box, it was like partial admission of guilt. After another 2 weeks of being on the edge waiting for some resolution, I finally got my $600+ refund and the explanation that someone in their receiving department "must have been checked it in wrong".
The moral of the story is that you're always taking a risk when you send something back, this is probably true of any online retailer. Insurance and signature confirmation helps to an extent, but you have no control over warehouse staff...after delivery you just have to hope that no "mistakes" are made. Having said that, I ordered my Note 4 online, but I guess i'm a glutton for punishment when there's a $30 coupon involved. They really should allow returns in stores. Just know the risk.

I ran into this when I sent my SGN3 in. I wrapped my phone in additional bubble wrap and packaged in the envelope provided. As the letter provided to me stated I could add additional insurance if I wanted on my own dime. When I went to USPS they told me if I added the insurance IT WOULD CANCEL MY FREE SHIPPING AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR SHIPPING. Even worse the label provided to me wouldn't scan in their system so I could not even receive a receipt of acceptance from them. I sent it out anyways but called Tmobile customer service immediately to make note in their system I had sent it out. I took the time to tell them my ordeal and that's when they dropped on me "in the future/next time" they would reimburse me for that shipping charge by deducting it from my bill, just let them know. Fortunately my phone got to them and I received a text message letting me know we were square.
Also, I don't know about needing to certify it as Delivery Confirmation would get you the details and the insurance covers any lost mail.
*edit*
after reading the horror post of the lost phone, certifying isn't that bad of an idea, see it you can get tmo to reimburse that too. They won't reimburse the insurance but the s/h should be good to go.

Well, good news. I just got my e-mail notification that my EIP plan has been credited the 277 dollars for my Jump Trade-in as well as my bill due amount dropped to reflect the changed EIP amount.
