I agree, XDA has changed, but a lot of people are still dedicated...jcase, ivanmmj just to name a few.
I will try this tonight...
My initial guess is it SHOULD work... I have root and am running a custom ROM... so I will update and let you know tonight.
UPDATE: it installs, launches, but when I select "Start checks" it wont execute the system check... I might try a different version and see how that plays out.

it runs pretty good... I did have to flash another radio on it though because I had issues with the one that came with it.
I just remove Sense for every ROM I install because I like nexuslauncher so much better lol.

Eh, I tried using metamorph on jamezelle's Sense-able 2.0 rom as well. I couldn't get all that I wanted to apply. Going on Stericson's post about metamorph (if you can't tell, this is the first time I'd ever used the program ) I assume there's not enough room in the /system partition. I have no idea how to fix that so I could do an entire theme (noob alert!).
but I did manage to change some images.
I'd love to see some themes for the eris

a good portion of them can be..its just finding the developer with the right amount of time and jist to want to.

I tried that right after flashing failed...it failed to load in metamorph as well.

Cool beans! But here..try this. I noticed that you were using fasttest, so i made a new one for you that matches that. The one that I gave you earlier was taken from the stock android one. This one should look/work better. Try it out. And again, let me know how it works for ya. And again, it's a metamorph, thus it should...oohh never mind. I won't do it again. lol

I just assume you mean the task bar.. Its the only thing theme wise in the picture.. These 2 will give you that look on 2.1 NON legend builds.

The title says 2.1 but the heading in the post says 1.5.. Hopefully you did a nandroid back up before flashing that, just in case.
I also have no idea what rom you are using.
Running fresh 2.1, now the lock is all retarded up and down like before, any new fix out?

anyways, because the apks/jars have not been deodexed, there isn't a way to do it yet. But the DamageTreve team, and I are working on deodexing it. Not together, but on our own. So there should be something soon that allows this

Oh, it's been deodexed . Just a matter as to whether it gains traction, etc.
Right now, I'm working on deodexing / modding / re-odexing, to keep the original .odex format. Helps keep the data partition free, and support existing ROMs out of the box...

Nah, not looking to race anyone, and I'm not a ROM cooker by any means. I'll leave that for the smart people . My motivation was more to be able to re-do some mods, etc...

But i was getting stuck at a certain point when sense was trying to load after deodexing lol

no jbueno, i am a real dev. I just decided to get an account today because i wanted to start sharing my roms. I just started to dev. I have heard about rr102394 or whatever and droid hacker, and i can tell you, they/he is no good! Im not posting bl3d3 or whatever nonsense that guy is or wants to post.

ok real dev.... why no changelog or details about your rom? odexed? de-odexed? what firmware version is it based on, or did you build from source? added apps?
please provide some details.

Thats cause we know its you. your rom is missing some parts huh? you should at least tell people that it must be flashed over sense and warn them to make a nandroid first.

Did the first two, which have worked for all the other roms. Not gonna try again until i see some more information. For now I'll stick with my nexus one vanilla. Best rom so far.

except for the boot.img in your zip... i'm guessing thats the stock inc kernel? what exactly did you change? Why isn't this a full rom? You're missing all the usual links to the usual tools as well as superuser.apk
