I had a question for my fellow theme makers , i. wanna make my own thene but i dont know how.
Can anyone tell me how to make a theme for the hero and after thats done how to make it to a update.zip

rosie folder contains only the arc images.
and if u want to change color of the top bar and other buttons then u will have to edit other folders as well.
hey i have all the graphic material, so now im making it into a update.zip file, but do u have to use the update.zip from the tutorial ? or the modaco 2/8 ?

F*ck i did it i made a update.zip, and i must say its easy
But i was so stupid that i used the red theme from ratcom,
now the top bar is red as you can see and nut brushed metal
So what u think guys? do you like the brushed metal?

i changed almost everything but the only thing i can see is the brushed metal unlock bar, the navbar on the homescreen.
And most of the changes didnt appear :S

may be ratcom can say why the changes arent appearing on the phone.
there must be something wrong with the update.zip file.... did you sign everything?

Please post in the correct section.
People have added themes and continued to use Nav.

Anyway, if nothing else you may have to reinstall the maps w/nav apk, and being that you could easily create a theme and probably a rom in just a few minutes, swapping a new apk in should be no problem....

Lol thanks..nvr said make a rom tho..jus a theme..roms are out my league!! And yes I kno I cud hav done that but I didn't kno if the themes wud stop the nav frm wrking completely bcuz I hav applied themes b4 and certain themes has messd up some apps in the past..that was all I wanted somebdy to clear up for me but ppl took it wayyyyy out of hand

I agree, XDA has changed, but a lot of people are still dedicated...jcase, ivanmmj just to name a few.
I will try this tonight...
My initial guess is it SHOULD work... I have root and am running a custom ROM... so I will update and let you know tonight.
UPDATE: it installs, launches, but when I select "Start checks" it wont execute the system check... I might try a different version and see how that plays out.

it runs pretty good... I did have to flash another radio on it though because I had issues with the one that came with it.
I just remove Sense for every ROM I install because I like nexuslauncher so much better lol.

As for me. Works great!
Eh, I tried using metamorph on jamezelle's Sense-able 2.0 rom as well. I couldn't get all that I wanted to apply. Going on Stericson's post about metamorph (if you can't tell, this is the first time I'd ever used the program ) I assume there's not enough room in the /system partition. I have no idea how to fix that so I could do an entire theme (noob alert!).
but I did manage to change some images.
I'd love to see some themes for the eris

a good portion of them can be..its just finding the developer with the right amount of time and jist to want to.
I'm sure many of you saw the 4G icon spoof this april fools.
I for one hate to see the "E" icon. I would love if someone made a flashable 3G icon to replace the Edge one, even if its "fake 3G" I don't care haha.

I tried that right after flashing failed...it failed to load in metamorph as well.

Try this. It's a metamorph. Thus, flash it via metamorph. lol.
Yea its a morph...tested it on my g1 before i uploaded it so i dont kno what you're doing wrong

Im running 2.2 blk status bar, i also need one to change. The roaming signal bars to the normal signal bars. Im in mexico using my tmobile sim and i dont like the way they look

The new boot animation finally done. I make this one use the same method as before (the Drawing Eclair) so it will also work on the same ROM as the previous one. Enjoy

I flashed this on top of Cronos Froyo and it doesn't appear to loop?
