which is the best full screen video converter for htc p3400.,.
There are many.
See here some:

You may also try TMPGEnc (free tool), but since free - be warned that all formats are not supported. But creates mind blowing MPEG videos (you can use TCPMP or coreplayer .... or probably Divx Player) optimized for WM devices.

I have many TV programs/movies in quicktime format. Is there software for the Kaiser (tilt with htc rom) that will play .mov quicktime movies WITHOUT first converting the .mov file to some other video format? If so, how is the quality and what software do you use?
Would I be better off converting to some other video format to obtain smoother viewing?
Thanks, Ron

Coreplayer is about the fastest. Its like TCPMP the next gen
Depends on whether they're ASP (the simpler) or AVC (the more advanced). TCPMP may play the former (with the AAC plug-in). For AVC, you'll need CorePlayer.
Keep in mind that Nero Mobile Pro is MUCH slower and MUCH worse than CorePlayer - that is, don't even think of going the Nero Mobile Pro route. I'll very soon publish the H.264-related excerpt of my forthcoming Multimedia Bible - I'm in the process of making some SERIOUS, related tests.
Hiya,
Since all my old music video's are in 320x240 format I'd like to re-encode my ORIGINAL music video files into 640x480 format.
Until now I've been using Nero Recode which gave me ease of use and a pretty nice result.
What program(s) are you using to encode your material and what settings?
I know the Diamond can pretty much play a divx/xvid without re-encoding, but I'd like a smaller filesize so I can place more files on it.
pocketdivx encoder is free, simple to use and produces good results
I use SPB Mobile
Thx for the suggestions.
I've been searching/reading a bit and I'm not an encoding expert, but from what I've read the best possible format would be H.264/AVC?
It would be awesome to get such an awesome movie quality that 'certain other brand phone users' would turn green in envy
My search continues!
Check THIS out for alot of info on the H264 format
I've tested a bit around with encoding Movie files.
Under Windows i become good results with Super from eRightSoft
But i use the most time Linux Debian. There is "AviDemux" you're friend
I'd converted some of my Musicclips in MP4 with AviDemux. In advance:
"MPEG-4 ASP Xvid" at "800KBit VBR"
"AAC (FAAC)" Audio at "128KBit"
Super from eRightSoft in advance:
"H.264 AVC" at "1000KBit CBR"
"AAC (LC)" at "128KBit" Audio
The results seems very pretty so far. But the video seems to stuck if the Bitrate is more than 1100KBit. All tested with Mobile Windows Media Player, because i dont have Coreplayer at the moment.
The old TCMP 0.xx gives an horrorble output. Too many framedrops etc.
Which formats are natively supported from the Qualcomm Chipset, knows that anyone ?
There seem to be loads of flavours of TCPMP floating around but ive yet to find one that does all Im after ....
What im after is the holy grail of video playback, a player that plays:
AVI
MPG
FLV ('all types')
MP4
The versions Ive tried play some FLVs but not others, or AVI but not MPEG.
The version i currently use is GF5500 but its will only play half the FLVs i try - plus it tears a lot on AVI (is this a hardware limitation of the touchpro ?).
Any suggestions ??
The last few phones i have had managed to play most video (the N95 was very good at that) so Im sure that the Touch Pro MUST have the capability for smooth playback surely
Use the cab at the bottom of the first post.

cheers ... but that was one of the ones i tried before - doesnt play mpeg 4 v2 (according to msg i get) and still doesnt play half my FLVs
unless im doing something wrong - which i wouldnt rule out at all
used to run tcpmp 0.82 on my previous Trinity device, not very impressed with it though (could be the slow, older device though).
not sure I can answer your q.
I use CorePlayer, latest build.
Ditto, I use the latest Core Payer and it plays all my video files including all my flvs. There's an flv plug-in for the TCPMP that I never had any problems with either, but I was happy to pay the developers for the commercial product after using their free player for years of viewing pleasure.

TCPMP may not meet all your needs. The link I pointed to seems to be the the best I've found for WM6.1 stability etc. Not sure if you mean WMV9 when you say mpeg4 v2 but if so, you can extend TCPMP funtionality by dropping WM5 codecs into your windows folder.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298126
I also use Coreplayer but keep TCPMP around as I find it best with Orb. Both will play the few .flv clips that I've pulled down from YouTube.
Keep in mind that on Raphael, WMP and HTC Album have access to h/w acceleration in the Qualcomm chipset, and run rings around CorePlayer and TCPMP for supported MP4 formats, including H.264.
We can only hope that CorePlayer will open their wallets to Qualcomm. I, for one, would pay for an upgrade (to my existing corePlayer license).
Cheers
I have a few different video converters that I legally own, but none of them list the Xperia X1 as an option. What other media device would be the best option to convert my movies to? And if you don't mind getting technical, what would be the best video size, compression, video and audio quality, etc.? Thank you.
WMP is the only player that is hardware accelerated on the Xperia. Convert your movies to mp4 with this:

For other formats use CorePlayer or its free version TCPMP, but be mindful that the playback will NOT be perfect. CorePlayer is perfect for YouTube vids as well.
P.S. Use search next time. There are dozens of threads about this. The link I posted is a "sticky" on the front page...
I did use the search, but couldn't find any specific data so that I could try and create my one device format to convert it to...like for CloneDVD Mobile. But thank you for the link.
What program do most people use to convert their 3gp Video files to mp4 ?
My media streamer doesn't support 3gp. I tried Handbrake but wasn't happy with the results.
Sent from my Desire HD
I use SUPER 2010
quite simply Avidemux 2.5. Best video converter hands down. And it's free.
http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
Simply drag any video in. On the left you can choose what video and audio codec to use. I believe mpeg4(divx) for video, and aac for audio work on the DHD. Then simply choose what container (format) you want to save it as. I believe mp4 works with the DHD. With these settings the Desire HD will be able to playback your videos in hardware mode since these codecs are supported at the hardware level thanks to the new snapdragon chipset. The advantage is its better on battery life, and plays back MUCH smoother than software mode.
After you choose what you want, click save.. and the important part is to write .mp4 at the end of your filename when saving! So it should look like "myfilename.mp4" without quotes for example.
Really brilliant software. Works with every format, even MKV.
edit: maybe i should make a guide for others..
There is also the free and excellent Format Factory :
