Welcome to the "EnergyROM" thread !
If you're looking for a TMobile USA compatible ROM, you found one!
This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Touch HD2 (Leo) device.
The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update the ROMs every few days, as new builds come down the pipe.
I also build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I pre-configure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.
I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). Backing up with SPB Backup or similar products, is NOT recommended, as they tend to backup the previous release's registry/file bugs as well!
Looking at the download folder you will find two core versions of my ROM.
The 21916 Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner! I recommend you start with this first!
The 29022 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.X series with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys. These builds are not as stable or perfect, but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. These are also much more finger friendly throughout.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter.
It's definitely the fastest way to get in touch with me and please don't be afraid to tweet me if you see major issues with the ROMs.
I generally do not answer "support" questions on Twitter, as it's really not the proper medium for that. Service packs and quick fixes will always be released
as links in my tweets and that's definitely the fastest way to get a fix for a ROM.
To follow me on twitter, click the banner !
This post features all the Cookie Hometab based ROMs I make.
The original ROM is the "energy" version and that's a good starting point. All the rest, are themes applied to that ROM.
They all come in two versions, Cookie 1.8.5 and Cookie 2.0 (the ROM filename will be labeled "Cookie" and "Cookie.2.0, plus the name of the theme)
You can see more screenshots of these ROMs a couple of posts down.
The two Cookie versions look pretty similar, but Cookie 2.0 has multiple sliding homescreens/freely moveable widgets (similar to Android) and
quite a few more features and speed.
My own 'Energy' style
This is the best ROM version and the way Sense should have been designed by HTC
Offers the biggest customization ability out of all versions. You can add/remove bars or items on the homescreen, arrange items any way you like, plus lots of extra features
Three built in lockscreens. "HD Mini" style, Manila style or Windows style
3 pages of quicklinks with a configurable amount of shortcuts displayed
3 Homescreen layouts to choose from, as seen in the above screenshots, all completely customizable !

Dinik's "Anastasia"
This ROM series is skinned with Dinik's great "Anastasia" theme applied on everything.
Everything has been skinned, including Sense, the start menu items, the soft keyboard, parts of the dialer... etc
_LeCiel_'s ".sencity"
This ROM is themed with the .sencity theme released by _LeCiel_ who is a very talented artist ! Please support his work if possible.
.sencity is not %100 complete yet, but _LeCiel_ is working hard on finishing his work to completely skin the entire ROM.
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <
DJC & Bobsbbq's "Touch Of Glass"
This ROM series is skinned with DJC's "Touch of Glass" theme throughout Sense and the Start Menu
More will be skinned as DJC continues his work on the theme in the future...
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <
ElCondor's "GTX"
This ROM has the white GTX theme applied
Android styled taskbar, matching dialer, matching start menu background and Action screen background
GTX is a total reskin of the operating system, so expect a very different (white) experience
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <
'Standard' ROMs that have no addons installed on the homescreen. Stock Sense 2.5 !
'Energy'
This series retains the stock functionality of the Sense UI. The files have been compressed by "CFC" compression. making the UI lighter and faster
This ROM still retains my theme and style, plus all the regular apps you find in my ROMs.
There are no homescreen addon-ons in this ROM. The best speed and the most stock functionality.
'Reference'
This ROM is mostly for people that want a close to stock ROM with the stock visual style. It's also perfect for doing your own customizations.
A lot of the cooked in apps are removed in this ROM, the Start menu back to the stock 3 row style
Sense and everything else is back to the default HTC green.
ROMs mostly created for enthusiasts...
MaxSense UI (android style homescreen)
This is a complete rewrite of the Sense homescreen, by maxycy.
It features a 3 screen, Android style, homescreen with widgets! The widgets can be placed ANYWHERE on the three screens.
75 Quicklink accessible on all tabs
You should really visit the original thread for this mod shown on the next line to see all the features!
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <.
Titanium (ROMs for raw speed!)
This is a minimal ROM version without Sense in it. It's used primarily for people that like to customize the default 6.5 homescreen (Titanium)
You can use it to install alternate homescreen interfaces like SPB Mobile Shell, etc
Very low memory footprint and good battery life, but very simple and lacks a lot of features that you would otherwise have available in Sense...

ROM features at a glance:
Very fast startup time. You won't find any startup wizards in this ROM. You'll be up and running in a couple minutes after flashing the ROM and ready to go. No need to spend time to set everything up.
XDA_UC is built in. It will import your custom XML and REG files from your storage card after first boot.
My own Settings Exporter application is found in the Tools folder. Use it to export all your settings after you customize the device. When a new ROM comes down the line, use it to import everything and save time.
Everything is setup to use the phone right after flashing. Sounds, notifications, all options, etc
The HTC Messaging client is removed, leaving the windows built SMS client for much faster texting, but still able to use a nicely skinned Sense text messaging app with "iphone style" messaging bubbles.
XDA_UC FAQ
The XDA_UC cooked in my ROMs is modified from the stock XDA_UC made by Noonski. Great addon, by the way... Noonski did a great job with this !
The version in my ROMs is trimmed down to fit the needs of my ROM series.
Some of the extra features are:
It will copy shortcuts (.lnk files) found in \XDA_UC\Start Menu\ to the device's start menu folder (\windows\Start Menu) in the hierarchy that it finds on the storage card. For example: Let's say you have a navigation package on the storage card, like Navigon. If you make a shortcut to the navigon.exe file as Navigon.lnk and copy it to \XDA_UC\Start Menu\GPS\ as "Navigon.lnk" then on a fresh ROM install it will copy any shortcuts it finds there to the same location on the device, so it'll end up in \Windows\Start Menu\GPS\. This works for other folders on the Start Menu as well. Just put the shortcuts in \xda_uc\Start Menu\ in the folders you will like the shortcuts to appear to, on the device.
It will copy a custom splash screen from \Storage Card\XDA_UC\welcomehead.192.png to \windows automatically and overwrite the one in the ROM.
It will copy a custom Sense background found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\sense\wallpaper_sense.png to the device and set that wallpaper as default in Sense. So rename your wallpaper as "wallpaper_sense.png" and drop it in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\sense\ and on the next ROM flash that wallpaper will become your wallpaper in Sense.
Other than that XDA_UC works as designed by Noonski and it will do the following things:
It will automatically import your PPCbackup (*.pib) file found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will install custom XDAS scripts found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently install CAB files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will install special CAB files that require user input (such as Agreements or any type of prompt) found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\SD
It will silently import REG files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently install REG files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\Exporter, as exported by my own Settings Exporter, ONLY if the "automatic" file is also present in that folder (and it most cases it should be, enable that option in the Settings Export application's menu)
It will silently import XML files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently import CER files (usually Exchange certificates) found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently run custom MSCR files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
That's it, but don't forget to checkout the Addons folder and look in the XDA_UC section for tips and tutorials on how to export your email/wifi settings and various little .reg and tweaks you can add to your XDA_UC collection.
As always don't forget to check what installs automatically before reporting a problem with the ROM. Most of the time, if you notice you have a problem that nobody else is experience is because one of the cabs you dropped in the XDA_UC folder is installing automatically while you don't even think about it.
our own tread
i am glad to see we have our own thread , thanx mr. nrg , will try not to pollute this thread . currently using the 21895 mar 26th max and very nice so far.
This was the first rom I tried, went to a few others, and went back. The eye candy and all the little extras are a nice touch.
Of note is battery drain is a bit excessive (as noted in the original thread). I'm losing 10% an hour and that is with very minimal use. I'm using cookie 23549. I did try 21895 but I didn't like it as much. Anybody think that will be better on battery life?
Thoughts?
@ NRGZ28
Do you have any mirrors to your ROMs? I haven't been able to get a complete DL. It keeps cutting of in the middle and I'm very anxious to try them.

I had the same results. Just below the battery seemed to get really warm on 23549. So, I am going to try 21895 Cookie out for a day or two to see what happens.
thanks for the rom, works so smooth on this device

Not crapping on it. Like I sad, it's a great ROM. My phone just happens to get hot using it. Instead of 23549, maybe I'll try 21895.
You always get defensive when someone criticizes your ROM?

For those of you with "warm" batteries for the 26th release, do this:
- Go into \Windows\StartUp and delete "MMTaskManagerhook.lnk" - this is a big savings according to NRG (reboot)
- Turn off your auto "weather" and "stock market" refresh
- Go into Start > Tools > Device Lock and uncheck "enabled" and "lock if playing music"
- Turn down your screen's brightness and/or put on "automatically adjust backlight" (this is a huge savings as well)
Using the "tbattery" app located in Start > Tools > tBattery, my temperature is around 26' C and the draw is around -150 to -160. At idle (suspend), it is around -4 to -5.
NRGZ28 said:
Saying you removed the ROM because you device gets warm is a little more than criticism. Maybe you should try another version at least, before posting that it sucks so bad, you had to uninstall it from your device.
p.s. And yes, I get defensive when I know what's being said doesn't do the ROM justice. You have no idea how much work goes into making these ROMs...

NRG good stuff man you always been a great rom developer. I have been using you since TP2.
I have one question though. why do you all(cooks) use opera 10. I love my pinch to zoom on 9.7 and see no reason why we need 10. Other than that your roms always are the best hands down.
NRG,
Excellent ROM. Just picked up my HD2 and could not wait to put on the Energy Rom. I have been watching it's development through the TP2 (as that is what I wanted before the HD2), but I'm stoked to have the HD2 and this awesome Rom.
Thank you
Anyone know where the Outlook or Email link went to? I used it in the past because I can see all my email accounts from one screen.
hey NRG...
I am set up to get ur tweets via text... its been a couple days since u recommended to delete that file from the start up folder...
did you do this on the cookie 23549 26th rom?? and if so did you notice a huge improvement??
I am on your 21895 Maxmanila and battery is very stable on that ROM, so just wanted to asked prior to reflashing back to the cookie ROM (which I love otherwise in EVERY aspect)
does anyone have the MMS setting fix?

And I just might have to try maxmanila when I get home if the battery is better. I love this rom, just not that I have about 5 hours left on my batter and I'm not even half way through the work day.
i just flashed this on my Touch HD2 and i would like to know if anyone can help me out. i set up the T-Mobile Setting for MMS i can receive but i cant Send any mms i used these settings:
Tap SMS \ MMS.
Tap Menu and select MMS Options.
Tap on the Servers tab
Tap New.
In the Server name: field, enter T-Mo MMS
In the Gateway: field, enter 216.155.165.50
In the Port number: field, enter 8080
In the Server address: field, enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Tap the Connect via: drop down list and select T-Mo MMS
Tap the WAP Version: drop down list and select WAP 2.0.
Tap Ok or Done
Tap and hold on T-Mo MMS and select Set As Default.
Awesome rom! Thank you! Please whack XDA-UC in favor of plain old UC
Hi NRG,
First off, thank you very, very much for your hard work! I LOVE THIS ROM!
Could I please request that XDA_UC be replaced by good old plain UC in the next builds? I found that XDA-UC, when ran, eats all my XML files in the SD card, drinks all my beer, fraks my cat, and ends up passed out, naked, and covered in puke on the floor
BTW, what radio version do you recommend for this March 26th ROM? What Rilphone.dll version have you cooked in?
And again, THANK YOU!

re/START, Organize your wm6.5 start menu
First attempt at a simple configurator for organizing and theming the start menu for wm6.5. Still has a few bugs that occasionally throw an error, so consider it beta. As seen in screenshots below, I went from Da_G's basic(only Tools and Office folders) start menu layout to multiple folders, moved shortcuts between folders, and move shortcuts up/down in start menu position. Has ability to add/change icons to any links or folders, but they must be in the icons folder located in reSTART folder to be found. I included a few folder icons in install package to get you started(hence the large size of cab, actual exe and dll are only about 120kb). New icons added to folder should be .png files. Report bugs and maybe I'll fix, maybe not

CHome Editor v1.6 beta
This is a chome panel editor, its beta release, so be warned. Just to be safe, you should backup your chome registry before using and your Titanium_xxx.cpr files. Its still under development, so there will be some bugs and updates.
Warning: this writes and reads data to your phones registry, I take no responsibility if it crashes your windows default plugin. If you do a backup of that reg first, then it should not be a problem to put everything back to normal without causing hard reset.
With this, you can do registry edits to chome plugins, to values listed under the following keys:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\*all plugins*
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\*all plugins*\*all pages*
v1.6 changes:
-fixed Add Page sticking on Page10 and duplicating
-changed file chooser for adding application links, and icon links
-few layout changes
-converted cpr writing to using ATPlugin Installer, huge thanks to AppStar
-maybe more, can't remember right now

-added web page wizard with opera bookmark import option
-added custom cpr option(more documentation later)
-changed some of layout
-changed color scheme
v1.4 changes:
-finished app wizard, has icon dialog now
-added Remove for panels and pages
v1.3 changes:
-added app page wizard; still needs icon support, but icon links can be added through "Manual Edit Item Values" in menu for now
-fixed issue where not starting for some users
v1.2 changes:
-removed panel filter so you can edit all values under plugins, like CClock to set right soft keys
v1.1 changes:
- made some changes to layout
- added ability to add new panels/new pages to registry and cpr
Opera Favorites panel with auto import
Now included inside of CHome Editor.
NOTE: If you still want to install opera by cab, Jugernaut has your fix using new style ATPlugin Installer for a safe install. Cab is located on this LINK
Start Menu Expanded
Start menu expanded to 4 icons wide in portrait and 6 in landscape. Two versions, one with honeycomb, and one without.
Colors 6.5 21193
Here's some color panels and selection png to match the tsk files of Da_G's build. Included are Classic Blue, DVF Green, Isaac Mizrah Purple, Rock and Republic Black, Ron Arad Orange, and Vera Wang Red.
WM 6.5 only
Start Menu Cab Install: Run cab and then soft reset.
TitaniumWeather Install: Disable titanium, run cab, soft reset, re-enable titanium, finish by running TitaniumWeather Setup from Launcher panel.
For further setup of TitaniumWeather and Launcher plugins, go HERE
Colors Install: Disable titanium, copy desired color into \windows. Copy bronzeres.dll for the panels, StartMenu_Selection.png for the start menu hexagon, and the 2 cpr files for start menu layout. All Colors are included in zip below. I will add some lock screen colors to go with these and maybe PIE icons.
Download Colors 6.5 zip HERE
MOD EDIT:If for some reason it doesn't work, please try this fix : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3949075&postcount=1077 or, if that doesn't work, try this one : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4271984&postcount=1434
Edit from Sleuth: Want a positional aware Titanium Weather version that works with myLocation? After installing Titanium Weather from one of the cabs below, go here and scroll down to the Location aware apps section.
This may be a stupid question...but will this work with 6.1?

I made a few different ones, two sizes. The honeycomb currently seems a little slow, so by decreasing the size it makes it easier to navigate. Portrait and landscape files included in cabs along with a different unselected comb background.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I have no idea why I would like this honeycomb over, well, over anything. I assume there is more to it then this stupid today screen but I could just get any program and dump a bunch of shortcuts on my today screen if I wanted that. Just my 2 cents

Here's the icons packs currently available for TitaniumWeather 4.0+
Left to right----Stardock, BeyondInvisible, Buff, and HTC
Spil icons
UPDATED May 5:
tried to fix layout issues with some icon packs, if you still have a issue then please post a screenshot along with device resolution so I can fix.
Anyone that has icon packs they've made, feel free to post for all to use.
I've posted a few sets for wm7 theme in ibrythill's wm7 thread in development and hacking forum if someone needs a set for that theme.
Additional .plg files for wqvga on ibrythill's wm7 theme are located in post 635 and post 638 by Genix9, more in post 702
Install cab and then go to TitaniumWeather Menu/Panel Display Options/Type of Icons used and then choose the icon set you want to use. It takes about 20 seconds to load completly because it has to rewrite the cpr file, and then run a full update so that all the registry entries get updated for the icons. So be patient and Enjoy
Im happy with my current ROM, so I wont be changing to 6.5 yet. I do have some questions about how this works for the future.
So you hit the start menu then this fills up you screen covering your TF3D?
The 1st pic shows the honeycombs overfilling the screen at the bottom. Is this menu "scrollable" to reach shortcuts that are offscreen?
Is that gigantic X a part of the new start menu or is that the X from 6.5? WOW that is big.
What is that "Marketplace" shortcut in your pic?
why don't make it for Wm 6.1 ???
6.5 is just out still testing fase...

It may be portable but it more than likely will take day to fix and get it right and you will prolly need alot of file from 6.5

Yes, this is the new start menu and its scrollable, but scrolling is slow in this beta. The original is only 3 apps wide, by making the honeycomb smaller, less scrolling to do. And yes, that gigantic X is part of 6.5 for now. The other taskbar icons are slightly smaller, but they made that bigger. Marketplace link doesn't work yet, but I assume it will be like apple's appstore/itunes.
The gigantic X close button is part of the rom, but this was ported from a QVGA version. I've seen pics of WM6.5 on a QVGA device and the X close buttons were normal size.
I think the overly large buttons are just a side effect of not having the right proportions for our phones. An actual VGA release should be due out within a few days which we'll see how things measure up then.
Thanks for the files, btw. Nice to start seeing some WM6.5 tweaks. I agree the default size of the honeycombs are huge. I like the idea of "finger-friendly" but come-on. The smaller icons are nice.
First post updated with new options.
Looks great. I like the Honeycomb lines removed and the Notification Panel is nice. I'm downloading the WM6.5 V6 Kitchen now... but does the CHome homescreen program up like the Smartphone version?
I had the Blackjack which had this... and I did some programming and tweaking on it.
From what I remember there is an "\Application Data\" folder which had the XML screen layouts which could then add plugins. I know Samsung actually had quite a few custom layouts which were included in their roms that were based off that style.
Just curious because if they're essentially porting over the Smartphone style homescreen... then we should have several hacks already for it.
Having finally flashed to Kitchen Beta 7... using the CHome.dll... my notification icons are reduced by around 50% and are half cut off at the bottom.
I'm not having any luck looking through the dll file. Are you running this in VGA on a Touch Pro?
The Start Menu tweak is working perfectly.
Welcome to the EnergyROM thread !
This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the Sony Xperia (X1) device.
For easier updates you can always check the website for energyroms at http://www.energyroms.com
The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update the ROMs about twice a week, as new builds come down the pipe or as new software/updates are available.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
A 21916 Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner. This build uses the same stock system that came with your device. This is usually the fastest and most stable build, but it's also the least fancy

A 29022 Build that's the latest in Microsoft's development with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys, making it all very "finger friendly". These builds reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. Most people choose this build... Why else would you install a custom ROM ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter.
It's definitely the fastest way to get in touch with me and please don't be afraid to tweet me if you see major issues with the ROMs.
I generally do not answer "support" questions on Twitter, as it's really not the proper medium for that. Service packs and quick fixes will always be released as links in my tweets and that's definitely the fastest way to get a fix for a ROM.

k|WWE|Oct 8|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸. Energy .¸¸.·´¯ 6.5|21916 / 6.5.X|21681 * Sense 2018

Can't wait on this one...First one to post here.
can't wait either!
SWEET!

hey I have a question for you guys,
does the wallpaper on your phone looks like it is in 16bit color instead of a bright spot like the screenshot NRGZ post? I have noticed that for a while but it starts bothering me a bit and I am wondering what is causing that
does anyone know if there is a fix or if it is a x1 problem?

I've got the same, it looks awful and I had it in all 2.5 builds.
Great ROM! I have been using it for a couple of days, the only issue that I am having is somewhat unrelated to this particular ROM, but it appears that I am only having an issue with this one so I will ask.
What version of MSVC would work on this? I have 2 different versions and one won't install at all (gives an error - although works on my fuze w/energy's newest ROM), and the other occasionally locks up my phone (just the "phone" part of the pda) forcing a reset to make a call.
Thank you
Wow! That's fast. Haven't even got to try out the 20090917 and 20090918 versions yet. Good work!

If a working solution was found for a recent problem please send a PM to me with a link to the post, in order to update the FAQ
FLASHING
Q: ????
A: Before you post a question please read at least 15-20 pages and search.
Q: What happens if i ask a question that has been answered some pages back?
A: You might not get the answer you need, as it's already there.
Q: My device is Omnia/Xperia (or any other than HTC HD). How can i install you Rom?? I like it a lot.
A: NO-NO-NO. These roms are ONLY for HTC HD (Blackstone).
You will brick (destroy) your device. Go to the forum of your device, NRG makes ROMs for all modern HTC devices.
Q: When will the Next Update of NRG ROM be released?
A: There is no point in asking this question. The updates come when they come, as there is no schedule.
A tweeter account and following NRG is a good source of info about new roms from NRG
Q: Are there any Mirrors to download from?
A: For current ROMs, the answer is No, due to the Chef's request. However, NRGZ28 agrees to post mirror links for previous ROM releases.
Q: How do i Flash a ROM/Radio/Task 29?

TIPS and TRICKS
Q: How can i get Manila (full screen) volume control in 6.5.x Roms. I dont like the ugly WM volume control.
A: Manila volume control won't work on 6.5.x Blackstone ROMS. Period.
If you want you can use third party utilities.
Q: Manila won't Start
A: If manila is not starting or is performing unsually slow delete the folder:
"\Storage Card\Application Data"
Q: How can i auto copy files and folders after flash.
A: See this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7622316&postcount=15209
Q: How can i reclaim 25-30mb of RAM in recent NRG roms...

Q: I have problems with my BT car kit handsfree.
A: See this solutions here from koalalek
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7824695&postcount=15961
Q: I have a Call waiting vibration instead of the peep tone!
A: I had an active vibration on waiting notifications, default value was pw3v, and solved it with the below.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallWaiting\Script]
Change the value to pw3pw3p
p = Play ringtone
w = Wait number of seconds
v = Vibrate
Q: Where is the HTC Messaging client?
A: This can be downloaded from the Addons page.
Q: My ActiveSync isn't working and I get some weird errors (ex: 0x86000C2A, 0x86000C2B, 0x00.......).
A: Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC -> Untick the "Enable Faster Data Synchronization" checkbox.
Make sure you're typing your data correctly, specially the server name. Alot of us (including myself) have been there before.
You may need to terminate the relationship between your phone & your PC, remove your settings from ActiveSync, hard reset, then reestablish the connection again.
Microsoft mentioned that some errors might be due to a recent faulty entry (contact, email attachment, appointment, ... etc). So, try to sync one item only (e.g., contacts). If it worked, you need to recheck your recently-added items & eliminate the faulty one.
This registry seemed to work with a couple of ActiveSync errors.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies]
"0000100c"=dword:00000040
Q: How can I Revert back to Original WM LockScreen instead of the Android one?
A: Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Switch Lockscreens.
Q: The new NRGZ Chat bubble SMS conversation doesn't work, when I install the ROM, I get the classic SMS compose view.
A: Scroll to "Messaging" in sense, click all messages button. From there you can find the bubble style.
Q: When opening photos, I get a small centered picture instead of full screen.
A: That's called a thumbpic...If you have a folder that's called....thumb something on your sd card..I wll sugest for you to delete it
Solution from M_T_M
Q: My wifi connection turns on/off by it self.
A: You always use the comm manager to set on/off the radio (phone-BT-WiFi). Some times the cht switches have problems.
Q: I want to change the Language of the HTC Sense
A: Open the registry and go to the key HKCU\Mui. Change the value of the key CurLang to your country code from this MS table.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms776294.aspx
Some Country Codes
409 ---> English
408 ---> Greek
407 ---> German
410 ---> Italian
413 ---> Netherlands
415 ---> Polish
Save the registry and softreset

Q: My battery after the flash of the new xxxx rom drains fast
A: Try those tips
See this post for a bunch of tips in battery life
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10575207&postcount=20372
and....
1. Remove all the new Cookie 2.0 indicators (battery-free ram etc.), if you have cookie 2.0 rom
2. Install the fix from this post (its only some pages back) if you have cookie 2.0 rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8719180&postcount=1292
3. After flash wait for the battery to settle down (2-3 charging cycles)
4. Dont keep wi-fi allways on (Wi-fi is a big time battery drainer... in every rom)
5. If you still have problems, Sugocy post a cab for reducing polling intervals ..here

A: User j_bs (thanks) found another solution Here in this post
Q: My Sense restarts alot in the latest xxx NRG Rom.
A: The problem is a known bug of cookie 2.0 task widget .
If you dont use it then remove it. Or if you want the task widget on, try to have allways a dummy task active.
Q: Volume Keys not working in the latest NRG rom.
A: Install this cab (that user Simon_WM found, thanks m8) to fix the problem.

Thanks to Fishawy and all other people that post fixes and solutions that all of us can use.
Also this is the first try to put together a FAQ. Please PM me if you think that something must incuded

I RECOMMEND FLASHING RADIO 2.08.50
IF YOU HAVE A TMOBILE USA DEVICE, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO FLASH A NEW RADIO.

If you are experiencing odd behavior from the ROM (random freezes, slow down, etc) download and run task29. Please be sure you UNDERSTAND what you are doing! This app will format the internal memory of your HD2, removing any trace of previous ROMs, Radios, ETC. So, after the application runs, you will have NO OS on your phone! You will have to flash from SD or from RUU via bootloader (by holding the volume down button on bootup). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=644781

Wasn't trying to bash Kumars, I had been jumping through different roms for a while until settling on his because of his stability and simplicity factors.. Never had any major issues with any of his roms. He definitely has some talent .
I love the manila tv player but only seem to have one channel working , is there a way to add different channels?

After flashing many many many ROMs looking for a relatively clean one, I was never truly satisfied with what was out there, so I decided to make my own ROM. I've probably spent a little too much time on this, but I'm really happy with how it turned out . This ROM, simplicity, is my take on what a Rhodium stock ROM should be. It's fast, stable and pretty. And now it's up to you to make it your own Enjoy!
This ROM is cooked for GSM devices only.Description:
Windows build:
21916 - Start menu on the top
29017 - Start menu on the bottom
Sense: 2019 CFC with latest Co0kie's Home Tab mod
Base: Stock Rhodium 2.07/2.10 ROMs
Removed all the garbage/bloat found in stock ROMs and added some basic necessities.Choose your version:
Downloads:
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have used Hard-SPL before flashing any ROM. I also recommend you to use Task 29 each time before flashing any ROM. Also note that this ROM will boot with the radio off. Turn it on via the Comm Manager.

Will download now!
The screens look awesome, I cant wait to try it. I love clean roms that let me decide what to load. Thanks for the hard work.
thanks, downloading now, will try it later.
Such quick responses Awesome! Let me know how it goes for you
cant wait to try this out this is exactly the kinda rom I been looking for thanks
Downloading..... Installing..... Installed.......
I'm can't wait to try this one. I'm also a fan of clean ROMs.
Quick review
Ok, so far this ROM is uber fast!, I don't know what you did special but most WM6.5 ROMs with sense and CHT run considerably slower than this. Also the memory at first boot was very good with 91 mb free, which again I have never seen with Sense& CHT running. The only thing that I see that needs to change ( my opinion) is the signal bars could be larger. It was great to have CHT & the editor loaded at first boot. Thanks for your work!
Running Tilt 2
VanKlay
my first impressions are great rom. i had one issue with in coming calls does not show a number anyone else confirm this ... also my phone microsoft would be nice if included. thanks again
Very clean rom. I agree it runs considerably faster than most roms with CHT and Sense running. My only strife is Lack of marketplace app and My Phone.
Though its not a deal breaker, Swype would be nice as well
Definitely keeping an eye on this rom.

Yes, I can confirm the phone number issue.
My first impressions of this ROM:
- Very fast. Very pleased with that;
- No bulky apps. Really pleased with that;
- I'm missing a battery remaining percentage, instead of a visual battery;
- The phone number issue. This is a very irritating bug, because I don't want to answer all incoming phone calls. Maybe this is a quick fix, else I have to revert to NRGz ROMs.
- I've installed Opera Mobile 10: It's a lot faster than the included version. Maybe you can cook it in the next release?
Maybe the Facebook tab is a welcome addition to this ROM or if someone has an easy way to install this (cab?)? I can understand that not everyone uses Facebook and that this ROM should be without too many apps.
I've setup the phone with the setting in my signature. I had to install PHM Regedit to add the SlideWakup value.
Keep up the good work. I really like this initial ROM.
I am also going to be monitoring this ROM, right now I want something that is simple and fast.
1st time that I am going to flash my tilt 2, and I just want something to speed my phone up.
I'm glad to see all this feedback so quickly I'll try to fulfill all the requests made as soon as possible (probably tomorrow, its 12AM over here).
This will probably be added in the next version:
Caller ID Fix
Microsoft My Phone
Marketplace
Battery Percentage
PHM Regedit
Maybe Swype? If enough people ask I definitely will
As for the fix, here's a quickfix for you guys. Instructions:
Open arkswitch and go to processes (swipe your finger left).
Search for cprog.exe tap it and tap "Kill" (you might have to do this twice, until you don't see it in the list anymore).
Now run the cab attached.
Restart.
Enjoy!
i like this style O(∩_∩)O
Downloading...
followed directions, now cprog errors on load and phone will not work. any ideas or is reloading rom the best.

Please ad latest swype. most roms have the older one i have cab if you like(its the latest to my knowledge)
other than that id love to flash the second release
Personally I can live without swype and myphone. And while I like marketplace it's easy enough to add so I don't think it needs to be added either.
I like how light and fast it is. I would just get the caller id fix in the next release and maybe remove Opera, since most people are going to install either mobile 10 or mini 5.
The home page for IE sucks, what about using the standard one?
Definitely swype.
Can you release a maxsense edition too please?
Other than that, your above planned changes look nice.
Regards
Smith
Will try this one
Hi,
I'll flash this one today. Looks great and the comment is nice.
Please keep it as light as possible.
Swype, Myphone, etc... can be installed through cabs in my opponion
I'll post any bugs if i found them
