This week my HTC HD2 will arive. I have finally ordered my very own king of the heap. I have waited patiently & I am now satisfied. My "Leo" will be here soon & I will finally be able to smile.

It has arrived! I just opened the box & this phone is sharp. This is what I've been waiting for. Showed the UPS man & he wants me to give him the prices & wearabouts because he wants one too.

Im Jack... mod over at modmymoto.com . Just sold my Motorola MPx300's, traded my A1200 Ming smartphone and trashed a Crapberry for an HTC S620.
I'm much happier now.

Welcome, welcome my friend. I used to have a Moto V300, the got a SE P910i, then Nokia N80, then a BB Curve, then the HTC Herald, and my current device HTC Kaiser. I came a long way, lol, probably not as long as others. My next device will be the Nokia N96. As you can see, I like variety, but staying clear of that so called apple phone, lol.
twould seem that the herald forum is a springboard for alot of upper members and ideas
HTC herald............innovating since god knows when.
But anyway..... congrats on the switch. I find it exorbitant to trade all that for just one excalibur.

I'm The Omega Protocol at M3. I ported the Black Remedy Skin to 176 and then Sold the Dragon V3r. T_T I kinda wish I hadn't. lol But I am very happy with my Wing which now runs Touch-IT [Touched by Vista].
Welcome. I too gave up my MPx300, Sony Ericsson and Blackberry devices for HTC. You're gonna love it here.
I loved my MPx300, a bit bulky but it was truly awesome for a device of it's time.

Yeah...It was definitely ahead of its time. It was the memory issue that killed me. I had 2 of them.

Welcome to the fold. My first "smart" phone was the Moto E680i, loved that phone. Super stable linux OS, the best Chinese sip I've ever seen, nice form factor, lots of mods etc. Every time I see someone stressing about flashing a WM phone I chuckle and think of the days when I had to telnet into the phone for even the slightest of tweaks. I gave it away when I got my hermes and my friend is still using it...over three years of hard use and it's still going, that thing is a tank. Anyway welcome to the forums and say goodbye to all your evenings and weekends for the next 6 months.....

I learned so much from these forums last year while modding my MDA, well after a year of being gone and getting tired of Sidekicks and Tmobiles Bull**** and junking them, Getting sprint and loving EVDO and going through Motorola Q9 , i picked up an HTC Vogue. Glad to see the community here is still thriving ! Cant wait to go through more threads and see some of the advances you guys have made in the last year. Already seen quite a few that make me want to grab another MDA.
Well hopefully i can figure out a solution for my fingers being to big for the touchscreen keyboard !!

Like it says.. i have a diamond that i need to sell, i got the fuze and dont need the diamond. Its the euro diamond and comes with a high capacity battery and battery cover. Plus i still have the original box etc..
I didnt want to toss this on ebay, i wanted to sell it to someone within our community, the average joe isnt going to care if the its security/sim unlocked...

I would almost agree with that.. but i know i always browse other devices when im trolling for software... I might move it.. i didnt want to post it in the general subfora.. to many trolls, i wanted someone who was active, kind of like a cheap reward..

Almost 10 years ago, a tradition was started in the student-house I lived in back then. Anything we could not agree on was decided by a coin toss - but not just any coin! The coin in question was a 2000 UEFA Cup "Jaap Stam" collectors coin. This also spawned the "Jaap of Munt Whiskey Tour", consisting of going into town and having a whiskey in any random bar.
Every decision on the tour would be decided by "Jaap of Munt". Left or right? This bar or that one? Glenfiddich or Glenmorangie? Take this international train to some far-away land or not? All was chance, all we knew was that it couldn't possibly end well.
One day some years ago, for reasons I will not further elaborate on (ok ok, it was my fault) the coin was lost to the depths of a pond in someone's backyard.
Soon the 10-year reunion of the founding of said student-house is coming up, and tradition dictates we absolutely need the "Jaap Stam" coin. Without it, the reunion simply cannot continue as planned (barring me convincing the actual Jaap Stam to referee all our decisions that night).
So, to make a long story short, I am in desperate search of a 2000 UEFA Cup "Jaap Stam" collectors coin. If you yourself have one, or you might know someone who does, please contact me ASAP. If you want, I will provide you with an official certificate of the legendary () Chainfire "owing you one". Payment can be discussed, however much preferred would be a donation. It is, after all, for a good cause.
I do not expect any response, but I need to explore every avenue to find this coin !

However, that is an auction from 2005. I doubt bidding on it has any chance of success

Hola Im Jose! Originally from Mexico City but now a citizen of the world. I came here by 1st time back in 2007 to find how to upgrade Windows Mobile onto my beloved and actually working HTC Universal, always loved HTC phones and became more active in XDA. With some time started to write some of the 1st news for the recent launch of XDA Portal, lately was invited to be part of the Mods team in which i had a blast of fun!, I was there to meet in person the mighty old-timer Mods and Devs back in Texas on the infamous Android BBQ 1st editions.
On that time I was so active that some called me "spammer". Getting to the first places of post numbers on XDA....
I quit my regular job back in Mexico and decided to travel the world!, that was when i lowered down my activity in the forums due to obvious reasons...
Then pandemic came and i found myself unemployed and with no chances to travel for the time being....
So.... Im back!!!
Beware high posters, Im coming after you to get my place back!
Looking fwd to engage again with old time amigos around the forums and also to understand the new XDA.

Sad news for u htc phones are dead this means that htc decided to stop making phones and existing ones are not gonna receive any more security and software updates the latest software version did htc phones got was android 10 sad to say that htc will never get android 11 unless they ever made a comeback meaning making phones again and stuff like that

Well, they have been deciding to stop making phones since forever so I can see possibly a couple of devices for this year.... what means HTC is not dead until it is!
