i'm really confused ,
have 2 problem in this forum
1-i can't recognize latest rom
2-i can't choos best rom
please help me via offer roms with download link
ughh
1. use the search button
2. read alot of the threads
there are alot of good roms but you can only use one at a time
you will have to flash it a few times to find the best one to suit you, we all have different preference
i think this is a good rom to start off with....
|X|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy Series 23554/21898 |Apr 1| ★ Sense 2.5 / 2.1 / Titanium ★

on what rom are you: stock (original) or custom rom?
and what kind of rom do you want flas?
in general: rom sticky section is where the info for both rom kinds and how to flash them can be found
Generally, from what I noticed (and used) It seems that ever developer posts a from scratch guide to install their ROM, or at least posts a link to the "from scratch part" Generally, find the ROM and follow their directions. Doesn't matter too much what your coming from... You can always just be safe and start from scratch until you understand it a little better. Devs her are awesome like that.

i am using |X|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23542/21892 |Mar 5| ★ Sense 2.5.2012 / MaxManila ★.
i dont want to change my rom yet, this one is pretty awesome, except for battery life. But, if i want to go back to the stock rom, would i just transfer it to my sd card, and follow the steps that you do to every rom?

I flashed my x1 with the energy rom. i decided to back to original fw, that failed. X1 wouldnt load it at all. so i thought to go back to energy rom. When i attempted to flash it back to energy but i get in bootloader it finds the image goes to a grey screen and says "loading......" and wont budge from this.
Any help please?
Or steer me in the right direction?...
P.S. ive tried hard reset
....
no help guys??
I just got my hands on a rooted Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000M and a looking for the best "Every day use" rom.
P.S. I am on Rogers
Essentially every custom ROM is designed for every day use. Read the different threads, the opinions of users, the features, etc, and decide for yourself.
darky 9.1 is brilliant ive heard check it out on search bar
its more down to personal preference ive found.
ive used Darkys, Docs kitchen and am currently on Ultimate.
to get the best results ive used a mixture of ROM's and Kernels. for example, im as i said i am currently on Untimate ROM, Ver: 7.2 but i am using a different Kernel as it is best for me.
just try out some custom ROM's and see which you prefer.
Just MAKE SURE YOU FULLY READ UP ON HOW TO FLASH ETC. As if not, like i found, you could end up being another creater of a "help my phone is bricked" thread.
Matt
Read each roms posts see how many have problems before deciding .
Rom Kitchen build your own .

Hi salmanrkr,
If it's speed, stability & battery backup is what you are looking for...then stick on to your stock ROM..believe me it's the best...
Also, you need not have to flash your ROM to run an Android in your X1....You can boot Android from within the Windows Mobile by having the Android OS files in your SD card...Basically there are 2 different types of Androids..one which require an ext2 partition(which is more faster) & one which doesn't need any partition(which is easier to run)
It seems that you are a fresher...so better try the second type..the one which doesn't need any partition...I recommend for you the F1Froyo 2.2.1 .Visit the following thread for the description and download link...(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=844033)
Do keep in mind that Android for X1 is still under development..so don't hope for a bug free and stable android for X1..
And if you really want to Flash a new ROM for X1, you can try the 826x series ROM...or the Energy ROM..both are Windows 6.5 Build with slight difference in Interface..Both have Sense, a cool interface seen in HTC Devices...visit the following threads for the description & download link..
for 826x series ROM-(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734175)
for Energy ROM -(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562935)
Note : You can have your Custom ROM + Android in your X1....Also plz do keep a backup of your Stock ROM before flashing your device with a Custom ROM..
Hope this helps...
Thanx alot!
But which files to be downloaded? its lil mixed up!

I have tried both the builds...and from my experience i found the second one i.e. F1 Froyo .2.2.1 more faster & Stable.
So my recommendation for you is the F1 Froyo 2.2.1..
Here is the direct link to F1 Blog, where you can download the original file : http://f1series.blogspot.com/2011/01/f1-froyo-221.html
Thnx & Regards...
Thanx again and sorry to reply so late coz something came in middle So hope to start this conversation again Sir!

great answer , cleared all my doubt also. very neat
hi guys,
what's the current most clean rom for the note?
the biggest software that annoy me is the Samsung socialHub... but there's more.
and if i'm already posting
any trick to remove the "build-in" software from Samsung?
Love you all android users!! share the love!
Pick from rocket rom, criskelo and kingdroid rom they are all good and better to try them all then compare which one will suit your needs.
..
i think i found the cleanest rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1365587&highlight=socialhub
just by searching "socialhub" - he listed it as removed
and its really clean.... now i'm working on tweak and change it for my needs
Hi I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to find the ROM that is perfect for my needs...
Here is a list of desirable features the ROM would have:
*Fast
*Latest firmware update
*Stable (no glitches)
*Battery improved
*Sound improved
*New and updated apps installed
*Customized (different icons, screen, and other cool features)
I use my phone mostly for music, online apps like Facebook, twitter etc. Internet speed (3G) is crucial for any ROM I install
Thanks
If u could look all the roms features they wrote the same.
-Best battery
-Bug free
-Fastest rom bla bla...
Because of that u have to flash one rom and try it yourself. Every rom acts different so u have to find which one is the most suitable for your phone

thanks for your reply buddy. I will give a few ROMs a go
Thread closed,
Best rom / comparison rom threads are not allowed. Best thing to do is to try out different roms for yourself and see how you get on.
