Unrooting the Tattoo - Click Android Development

Hi, I was wondering if is possible to unroot the Tattoo, I mean, flash the official RUU and get my phone as a stock one.
Anyone knows how can I do that?
Thanks!

Just flash the stock ROM, and goodbye root.
Cheers

Thanks @Zecanilis
Is this going to remove the custom recovery image on my device?
Regards

Unroot/Flash to stock MAC

Hello Everyone,
I am sorry if I missed this in another thread. I have done some looking around, but that doesn't mean I didn't miss it.
I have a Mac. My htc is rooted running a custom, with S-On. How do I return this to stock, untampered, etc?
Thank you very much for the advice,
Blue

am wondering the same...i dont understand all this fastboot stuff
Wondering about the same as unable to install OTA - 4.3 update - Its taking me back to recovery "TWRP" instead of flashing the ROM
I tried today and almost bricked my phone. From what I understand, you can't do it on a mac because you need to run an RUU file and that can only be run on windows.
Edit: Just found out you don't need to completely flash stock in order to update. Just flash the stock recovery and you should be able to update.

if im not mistaken once your bootloader is unlocked you cant receive OTAs anymore. At that point what you can do is manually flash the new OTA.
I'm not sure if its that simple though, I've never done it like that, just custom roms.

As long as you have stock everything, besides the root of course, you can sideload ota updates through adb. i sideloaded kitkat when it came out.
By stock I assume you are running a Sense One and not a legit GPE?
When you unlock the bootloader on Sense it wipes a few apk files (no clue why, seems idiotic) and thus OTA will be broken as the expected APK will not be present.
So you have to unlock bootloader. install recovery, flash super SU. then restore missing apk files and then flash back stock recovery. A bit of work but it can be done. here's a thread about it.

Thanks for the reply guys.. Yeah, it's a bit annoying why can't have ota after rooting. I just needed root and nothing else... Hmmm.. :banghead:

You must relock bootloader and flash original recovery.img
You can find both in this forum

I did it by flashing stock recovery. The bootloader can be unlocked.
I also removed the root binary(you have the option in super su - full unroot). Then I reflashed twrp.
Good luck.

Reverto to stock after root and custom Rom

Hi all. I would like to revert the phone to stock after root and custom rom. Ther's a guide? I can't find anything on the forum. Thanks at all.
I think you just flash the stock firmware over what you have.

Thank's! So, no warry bout unlocked bootloader?
You might want to relock it first, but I don't think it matters. I am not sure though. Just basing this off my time with the S3 and S4 back in the day. With those phones it didn't matter. The S10 line are newer so it might with them.

I presume you want the boot screens to revert to normal without the Bootloader Unlocked warning screen.
If so, see my post HERE

I am on lineage os (Ivan_Meler) not rooted
under the developer there is no OEM option showing. My bootloader is unlocked, recovery is TWRP.
how can i goo back to stock ?
Just to be sure: Before I flash a custom firmware on a S10(+,e) like lineage, there is nothing to back up like DRM keys or certificates? (I had SONY phones before. If you reverted to stock on those some SONY apps would not work anymore if you did not backup the DRM keys).
Hello guys,
Similar question what is the procedure when I want S10e with flashed custom rom (TWRP Recovery), rooted and unlocked bootloader to return to stock firmware?
