Hi all,
One time I used the "IM" program for chat in MSN and its really simple and great.
And I remember, I found in this forum, one solution for the error "Can not read the phone number of the SIM card". But now I can't find this, my SIM card does not have the number entered.
Any people can help me? I would like to use the program without getting this error out.

if you are talking about Sim Manager, look in Start/Programs/Accessories

No problem at all.
- Install the cab.
- Open MJ config.
- Input your sim as "Approved" or what ever they call it.
- Input the pfone number/numbers to send the SMS when an unauthorized SIM is inserted.
- Insert the code you vant to use. Lets say "1111"
- Save
Before you delete the MJ config application, test the functionality.
To test send an SMS to your phone with the text "1111 +g". The phone should now replay with its GPS position as soon as it gets a fix...
Edit: And you do have to restart your device after configuring MJ to start the services...
Those work, but the REPORT service does not work. I traded sim cards with my GF to see if it would send a txt to any other phone upon sim change. Negative. It did not send a text. That feature is most important I believe. Has anyone gotten it to work?

can do much the same thing, also can use the kaiser GPS, which i'm not sure how to configure yet and havent gotten a fix but i did insert my brothers SIM and stole his information :-D it's got interesting options.
Hi, Sorry if ther eis already info on this, i have been searching but haven't found anything.
I jsut changed to the resently released HTC WM6.1 ROM on my Orange TyTN iI. everything is working great, but for some reason i get the orange servce numbers (answerphone, text center etc) appear in my contact list.
I've tried updating the SIM manager application but doesnt seem to have fixed the issue.

stupid question, but alot of factory ROM's add those numbers to your contacts, Have you deleted them from your contacts? Thats all you need to do.
Those numbers can't be deleted as the delete button is greyed out and they don't exist in the sim manager program, you can just hide them using the kaiser tweak tool

I don't really think it's a stupid question though, as said above, the "delete" option is grayed out. As i said in my original post the nubers are the service numbers stored on the SIM. I don't really appreciate such unhelpful replies.
funny must be a SIM thing cause I can delete them whey they come up on certain ROM's into my phone contacts. I had them on my SIM at one time and they are deleted.

I did try using the SIM mangaer but it doesn't give te option to delete the service dialing numbers. It's quite strange, but have managed to hide them with the tweak tool.
yea as i said its probably built into the sim. I guess if they are going to start pulling that shiz then i will have to make sure to keep my sim card. if i can help it i never let them swap out my sim card. usually those little bastards will do it without saying anything anymore.
Been reading these forums for a year or 2, thought I had an account but I guess I always used bugmenot to download.
I was wondering if either someone could point me in the right direction to create something myself (I have a basic knowlege in programming)
Or could come up with some kind of app or tweak so that every new sms that's create starts with *0# (this causes a delivery report for the o2 network)
I know this might seem very lazy but I was just wondering if it would be possible.

Hi guys,
Ive got the Nokia 8 with dual sim function. So far so good. I have choosen it, because I wanna have it for private use and bussines purpose. I created two user profiles, one for private and one for my company so that i can seperate the contacts and apps. that works really fine.
But there is one huge problem and I couldnt find any solution to solve it. I wanna use in my private profile sim1 and in my business profile sim2. The problem is that i can only choose it in my private one, because thats the admin pofile. The seconned problem is that my car cant handle it when im in my bussines profile.
You guys have any ideas or solutions?
