Hello , I recently recieved xperia. Flashed hrad-SPL , and this rom : - valkyrie.ftp V6.5.23115TR2.5 wm6 30th APR + manila without doc\footprint tab.
My problem is , when I press right softkey , system recognize it as a HOME button , so i press it , and I'm back at homescreen. It's soo anyojing , cause when I'm choosing coreplayer playlist , and I press right softkey it will minimize coreplayer and jump to homescreen. Any solution how to revert It back to normal ?

anyway, far as I remember it's the wm6.5.x default that's annoying you
you can twiddle with the registry but it will be reset to default after each reboot
alternatively you can either write/search for a mort script to reassign your button after every startup or install an app like aebutton plus that allows among other functions the reassigning of the buttons, there are more apps like that available, have a look

I tried in different rom versions to make my default mode landscape but each time I pull the keyboard out and in it changes back to portrait, any settings for that
2 is: I want to change and utilize the buttons currently assinged for calendar and contacts for other things like the start menu and ok button but I can not reassign them in the BUTTONs menu - where can i do so

Not sure about 1, but as far as your second question, you need smartskey my friend. This is a valuable app that you should install to Main Memory (Not storage card!). Search on Wizard smartskey, read the forum started by Water (the author) and enjoy...

I'm trying to cook a ROM. I use the ROM:
RUU_BlackStone_HTC_NLD_1.56.404.1_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship
and
RUU_Rhodium_TMOUS_1.04.531.0_Radio_Rhodium_3.43.25.13_Signed_Test
The only thing now is that I only want the new manila in the ROM. So:
I extracted both ROM's and put the "PACKAGE_Rhodium_Manila_TMO_US" and "PACKAGE_Rhodium_Manila_TMO_US_0409" folders into the OEM folder from the Blackstone_HTC_NLD_1.56.....
The I deleted the original Manila folders from the OEM from the Blackstone_HTC_NLD_1.56....
Then When I Cook en flash the weather tab doesn't work. When I go to the weather tab TF3D restarts. (fixed)
Also the soft keys (phone, home, back, phone) don't work. (fixed)
I used Tweak HD 0.5.4 to change the Home left and Home right soft key. To left: Contacts right: Opera.
But when I press the left one Opera opens and when I press the right one Contacts opens and my HD freezes.
So how can I fix the left and right problem and the freezes with opening of contacts?????

Hi,
After I updated to the latest EnergyROM my HW keyboard stopped functioning correctly.
Instead of getting numbers when I pressing the row of the numbers I get symbols such as @ if I press 2, _ if I pess 3 and etc.
If I press 1 it takes me back to the start menu.
If I press / I get ?.
If I press FN it takes me to the Calendar screen.
If I press SMS/MMS it takes me to the Contacts screen and etc.
If I press CAPS the FN light turn on and etc.
How can I solve this strange problem?
PLEASE HELP ME!

If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utilities > Tweaks (after you flash the ROM) to select the "Pro" keyboard layout. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout enabled by default.
I suggest you close this thread once your done.

Is there a cab to have a shortcut to softreset.. shortcut for camera.. or even shutdown..? in Today view or menu
especially im using a cooked rom and have a updated cam on my unit..
anyone...?
Well, i use "SPB Pocket plus" which lets you have lots of shortcuts on the today screen, among the default ones are a button for soft reset, but you can add a camera shortcut from the program files/XperiaCamera folder (or wherever you got your cam-app).
But i also use Smaberg's actionscreen ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=479206 ) which can be activated by holding the power button for 3sec, this action screen got shortcuts to soft reset, power off, wi-fi, bluetooth, camera (need to edit a key in the registry for camera to work, at least i had to) etc.
Both highly recommended applications!

Hello everyone
1. I am interested in keys remapping and changing some defaults in the 826x but don't know to grab it. Always what I wanted was to wipe out Windows Default Dialer/Phone software and exchange it to the Resco Contact Manager. I don't mean to change "Green Phone Button" but to make dialer (keypad) from this software as default in whole "system". After I had remapped (using AEB Plus) Green key to for example to "Favorites" from Resco CM software, I overridden default (important) action of this key as well - accepting connections. My key was calling Favorites from Resco CM but wasn't accepting connections. Is there any possibility to merge this two interactions into one button? Would be greater to set green button default to "Keypad" panel from this Resco CM.
2. After I have remapped some keys using AEB Plus I've lost this sweet Resco Task Manager (is this correct name?) from 826x ROM. I've tried to restore it by mapping it to the XPanel button, but don't know what to set exactly under this button - which executable? I've tried to use app called uTask Configurator but don't know how to use it correctly
3. What may be the reason of fact that I am not able to Map the keys in mine PocketMusic player? In stock rom I mapped my keys for usage in music player, but now when I try to do it - app (PocketMusic) does not recognizes pressed keys? No info about pressed key is showed.
4. How to set "turning screen off during call" or "blocking phone during call" in the quickest way? I need to set something like that, but don't want to use third party apps like S2U2? Maybe there is any REGISTRY method?
