Which png is it for lockscreen? - G1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As the title says... which png controls the color of locked screen dialog background (the one that has provider name, time, "screen locked, press "menu" to unlock, etc)
Ben overlooked it in his last few releases and left it stock in Super-D, I just want that glossy black look.
If someone could help me figuring out how to make it transparent (50-80% or so) that would be great, but most of all I just want to make it glossy black)
Thank you in advance.

I'm 90% sure it is popup_full_dark.9.png in framework-res/res/drawable. It's possible that it also be menu_submenu_background or panel_background.9.png.

Well... it's not those, I do have glossy black pop-ups now which is all good. Lockscreen is still stock. Anyone?

Is it possible to change the color of an active start-button?

I am using Wktask and it looks fine most of the time, but as we all know, the startbutton turns white (with a transition to black on the taskbar) when it is pressed. This doesn't look very nice together with Wktask (See screenshot).
Is there a way to make the startbutton keep the solid black color when pressed?
Noone knows if this is possible or not?

[Theme] KewlGrey Customized Xen Remake

I had a hard time finding a theme I wanted and didn't have the time to make my own, all I was wanting was a special status bar that was partially transparent. So heres what its come down to, I used the KewlGrey Theme and mixed it with the Stock DE03 Theme. Added in KewlGrey Status Bar, Status Backround, Different Font, and last but not least the Color of the Notification when you touch it.
EDIT: The forum will not allow me to post the image URLs and the ZIP for the theme is to large to be uploaded in the manager
EDIT2: Managed to upload the pics but cant get the theme up yet due to Newbie restrictions
The fact that the notification-bar icons are actually larger than the grey background bar makes it look rather messy.
Also the date (when the notification bar is pulled down) has a different grey background as well.
I think you should sort these things out first, to be honest

Hey there!
sorry for activating up that old thread, but i'm trying to get my statusbar transparent at the momen.
I think al almost did it, there's just one strange "bug".
I changed all the *.png relatet to the status bar with transparent pictures, that does work for now i think,
BUT:
If my Screen is locked, i can see the background picture behind the status bar, if screen is unlocked, background picture is "cut" under the statusbar, statusbar is just black, if i drag down the bar, i can see that the dragdown menu is "sliding" between the statusbar and that strange black background....
any suggestions or tips?

If you have it working that far i cen tell you how to see it on regular screen too. You need to be running ADW.launcher (or launcher pro but i have no idea how to enable it)
In ADW launcher there is a setting for Wallpaper hack , in system settings i believe. Turn that off and you should see the wallpaper through the statusbar.
thanks for the reply, would be nice to know how it works with launcher pro, that's my prefered launcher...
will test it in ADW now.
I guess there could be some similar trick to Launcher Pro.
ADW is working fine, looks cool, unfotunately i can't attach files here, if i could, i would share my framework-res.apk with everyone here
I did already build 3 framework-res.apk file, theyre similar to each other, no big changes done, just other style of the status bar and changed battery Icons, sothat normal battery icon is black/white, only the orange an red batteryicons are colored.
Launcher Pro doesn't work, there's no way to use it without the wallpaper hack...
at the moment I'm trying to build my own custom Rom, but have to read more about that before i can realy build one...

[Q] HowTo change Lockscreen Color in CM7 for Lense Style

I'm using a Milestone with CyanogenMod 7.1.0 by nadlabak and lense lockscreen style like in attachment.
Now i want to change the clock and date color, because black is unreadable on a dark lense. To change the the color in keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml doesn't work but this xml is in use. I don't know why, if i add a text in this xml, it's shown on lockscreen, but the time/ date color will not change.
I found Lockscreen.smali in android.policy.jar but don't know where i have to change the text for another color and to add the custom messages like in SlidingTab Lockscreen. If it's possible i want the lense style with the standard lockscreen messages for battery charging, alarm and maybe carrier.
Can anybody help me?!
I have the same question, any one help?

Great link
If i've found something in google, i wouldn't ask ...
Is there nobody who gets an idea?
you know stock android lockscreen these two sliders??
when you tap on it and slide you will see text UNLOCK (left slider) or SOUND TEXT (right slider)
am pretty sure that keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml file is for this style of lockscreen not for lense
IMO: keyguard_xxx.xml works when our lockscreen is protected only, so there must be other (more global) file to edit it

yes i know, but i've added a text in keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml "Phone locked" u see in the screen. And this text is also shown with lense style, so the xml is in use. But the must be something else, other settings or smali settings i think, to switch off/on the custom messages, date, alarm or whatelse on lockscreen.
Well I really look forward to get it white. I just made lense lockscreen for my MEIZU theme and it would look awesome with white text.

Same problem here. Neither adding textColor to keyguard_screen_lock.xml or keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml changed anything in Lense.
Would really appreciate help here.
Thanks!

someone managed to theme it for the ns/ns4g been meaning to poke around with it but i'm passed the balmer peak and officially trashed. So i post it here for those of you who are still looking for a lead.
@themapleboy this is not what we are looking for time and date is still black and the rest is just png slider
Sorry about that i was slightly inebriated and thought that would have been a good lead, didn't realize it was just a png.
Any update on this? i too want to know

Transparent Soft Buttons/Nav Bar

I'm looking for a way to make the nav bar/soft keys at the bottom of the display transparent everywhere, like it is on the homescreen on GEL
Anyone know of a method for doing this? I'm on the M preview.
I know it's possible with Xposed but I'm looking other ways.
Bump...anyone?
Bump....
It would be really easy to do if you decompile and recompile your systemui.apk but, it will not look like how you think it will look. Your nav bar will end up white or grey, because it will be transparent and behind the navbar will be dead space that is white or grey. All your full screen apps (Except launcher) do not sit behind the navbar.
I think what you actually want is a dynamic navbar that changes colour to match the primary colour of the app you are using, which is much more difficult.
Or... maybe you want an expanded desktop which allows the app to be true full screen, and you swipe up to bring the navbar up transparently over the app. Though this would cut any buttons or text fields off in the app when the navbar is up.
I see what you mean... Damn well that sucks.
Thanks for the reply.
