[REQ] Old version of MetaMorph - Android Themes

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone has the old version of MetaMorph that uses .thm files rather than the new .xml?
The reason I ask is because I have about eight metamorphs I use whenever I flash but they are all .thm and as I don't have a computer I cannot convert them.
Thanks in advance to anyone able to help.

The paid version in Market uses the new XML format. The free version in Market uses the the old THM format. It actually says this in the description of each app in Market.

The free and the paid in my market are both using .xml and are the only two versions I have available to me, hence asking in here.

Stericson updated the free version on the last day of April to use the new .xml format.

Ah right you are, my apologies.
I do have a backup of Metamorph 1.9.5, that has the old icon so I am guessing it's got THM support, but it's the paid version and I wouldn't want to put that up for free without Stericson's permission.
There is a converter app for thm to xml here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=663822 - I think we are probably just better to use the new format.

Again I'll refer back to original post… no computer no converting. The whole point of the thread and reason behind wanting the old version.

I have the old version, how can I get it to you?

I think he just copied the skype folder from a rooted phone but that's not enough. We need an .apk file to setup.
Get it from here:

Err no that is an apk

Then maybe I missed something. I just found a zip file which extracted the folder structure of the app.
Anyway, with a "skype .apk" google search I found the apk above, it's ver. 1.0.0.538 and from where I downloaded it says it's the latest. I have no idea if it is or not though.
I tried it and it works ok except for very bad ringtones/sounds.
BUT, if I open it with Opera it downloads correctly. With IE, it only downlads by right-click>save target as and then a zip file is downloaded. With Opera I downloaded apk file as you said.
What version is yours?
Its 1.0.0.659
ok, so yours is newer. I will uninstall mine and use yours
thanks
No probs
I have Skype. Downloaded it from the Market but I'm not using it. Bad performance. Keeps on giving me slow and choppy calls whenever I try to use it and is also having conflicts with the What's App application. The Skype app on my Nokia E72 is actually better.

He did post the apks. They're in the .zip file he posted. It's not a flashable zip, its just an archive with the two necessary apks. Just download and extract them.
Anyone have success with this? Turns my search box white with no lines, some files inside are corrupt. Am I missing something?

[REF] Motorola ATRIX System APPS & LIB Folders

All links pulled due to XDA Request after an XDA member complained I was only out for profits to a moderator on a few products I have. Due to the fact I link to a product or two and a few other things in many videos, I was asked to pull any content relating to this.
I will still be offering all this great material at my website. Just go to google and search for MobileTechVideos.

I dumped all the system apps into a package using ADB with the ATRIX I picked up today. I'm not sure what/if any apps are usable but I figured I'd offer them up to any developers or modders such as myself.

If anyone has issues, verify with www.megaproxy.com to determine whether your ISP is the issue. I've seen this happen off and on.

You're not going to be able to just install them, because they're system apps. Gotta use a file explorer like Root Explorer and move it to /system/apps, then do a reboot.

So any feedback on this stuff?
Due to popular request, the /system/lib directory package can also be found at the link above.

Not the same kind of "image" file. Do a google search on "android image extract" or "android rom image extract"
There's tools out there for it.

It's the only version that will work on thunderbolt..

The way I got Let's golf 2 back on my rooted bolt was to backup my current rom then flash jcase's ota then titanium backup let's golf on jcase's ota then wipe and restore my current rom then use titanium backup to restore let's golf.
I did that and now I have it for good.
Hope this helps.
i pmmed jcase and he said that it's a ext3 and to not use unyaffs, what does that mean?

google it. if it were a tough question to answer, i would just say it. your answer will come in 10 seconds after you do. just a hint, you have to mount it in linux (or there's ways on windows with 3rd party apps)
I paid for it too back when on release day. It would never restore after I changed roms. Never got much of a chance to play it.

If it's that simple wouldn't it have been just as easy to just answer his question?
I just googled it and I'm still not sure what it means.
If you are talking about the golf game, I have it installed and it runs excellent.

Because I think it's better to teach him some information than just hand it to him? I've been contributing to the thread for a few posts trying to help them out. I didn't just jump on anyone to just look it up without some guidance or additional info. That and maybe I dont want to go through the steps of download the original image of the phone, extract it myself and post it here? I don't mind helping but doing that takes way more time than typing out stuff I know off the top of my head. However, if you have the game, that's what they want so feel free to post it for them.
I'm not sure what you googled...but on the first page of typing ext3 it says "How to read Ext3/Ext4 linux partition from windows 7 | Ubuntu Geek." How hard is that? Anways, ext3 is to linux as fat32 or ntfs is to windows or UDF is to a dvd/cd (they're file systems). Just find a program that extracts or mounts it or look up how to mount it directly on linux.
If you want me to find an article for you. That's a bit much since it's the difference between needing help and information and just not wanting to type a keyword into a search engine. There's plenty of tools and information out there.
There are a few ROMs out there that still have the apk for Let's Golf 2 in them.
Here is a deodexed ROM that has the apk inside.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1030608
All I did to get it on my TB was to put the apk on my SD card and install it.
