I've got a Legend for a moment, and i'm trying to write some code for this baby. however, either the official android sdk provides the dev driver for Legend nor the HTC dev site.
I found there is a discussion related to it

though it still doesn't work for me.
so are there anyone who know how to let it work as APD1&2&N1 under eclipse, could you please share your method, thanks a lot!

Hi all,
i am very new to android. i need to add a custom module to the android kernal and recompile it and flash it to my htc hero cdma (Cellular South). can some one tell me where i can find guidelines for building android kernal and to install it in my htc hero. i tried to get the kernal source from developer.htc
but it has more than once htc hero source , can someone tell me which one to use

Well, normally I would say look in our Wiki there is a guide to getting a compiling source....BUT the wiki seems broked.
The Source you need is the Sprint HTC HERO. This is for all of the CDMA phones. Compiling be a-whole-nother ball game that I am not about to type up
Hello everybody! I am new here, i just signed up yesterday and this website only lets me post in this general area. Here is the background: I have an ATT HTC PURE phone that I am not using. I want to try and install android on this phone but I do not know how and what to use. Can someone please guide me in regards to this issue? I want to be able to use the phone as an internet device for home use with my home wifi. Any or all help is appreciated! Thank you to everyone who helps!

Hello all devs and HTC One users. I've been searching a lot on XDA, Google and all over internet but couldnt find a better place to post this. I just got a HTC Butterfly S and wish to use CM, Paranoid, Carbon or ANY other rom which I can use CM Themes Engine and have an AOSP look. I had a HTC Sensation before, and loved everything I had using CM ROM.
I wished some dev here could port any of this ROMs to this device, I know is not an easy job. I already tried to do such work, but all tutorials, guides and etc on XDA refer to a BASE ROM, and my device is unsupported, so I cant have a base ROM to port. I know M7 has almost the same specs as ButterflyS, so maybe is a little easier.
I hope someone can help me, because I THINK I did all I can.Thanks :good:

We dont "hire" devs. Development starts from the people that use the device. Even big name roms will not work on a device that someone on the team doesnt own.
So your best bet would be to find someone with the device, Then track down all the kernel and device source code.

Hey, I am trying to revert my HTC desire 510 to stock, i do not have a backup. I found files on the htcdev.com and thought they were Roms (easy catch). Unfortunately they are not. I don't even know what to do with these files in order to get my ROM in place.
My device is a 64bit, was running UK Vodafone rom. i need to get that back on. Need help here...
That up there, old...... I got the solution, thanks to the developers that helped me. Am now posting the links here. Choose which your phone is based on. The link includes different RUU's, not only that of Vodafone.

Best way of downloading is having the Mega downloader app on your computer.
Tested and approved for share. I thank all the developers out there. FYI, the RUU's do not exist on the htc.com/uk site. I do not know why. Those of x86 have theres on htc.com/us site.
