I Dunno if this deserves a thread or not,
but it struck me today that we (Rhodium Users) have been getting some really excellent ROMS just recently from all the Chefs who gracefully share their hours of hard work along with all the beta testers who allow their devices to used and put in meaningful bug lists so that the majority can experience something a little better that HTC originally offered.
Maybe someone can put it better than me but i just wanted to say a Massive Thankyou to everyone who actively contributes to ROM development on our devices but especially to the Chefs who put all the research fixes and Often cutting edge software together to make some astounding ROMs ready for us all to use.
I'm sure we all thank the chefs individually at least i hope so! and please DONT turn this thread into a "who's is the best ROM" cos that sucks.
But what ever your preference in build or manila flavour or chef, I invite you to join me in a collective thread of appreciation for our Windows Mobile ROM Development Forum and all who contribute to it so abundantly.
Thanks!
To all u wonderful chefs my hats off to u!thanks a bunch and keep up the good work!
Yep this is a well deserving thread, cause with out you guy's (the Cooks) we would all just be conformists leading simplistic lives
Thank you
A big thank you once again for all the hard work it is very much appreciated. Our devices would not be as great without the effort these guys put into cooking ROMs for a bunch of whiners and complainers but they continue and put up with it. My hats off to all of them.
yupp a big thanks to all of the chefs for all their hard work and excellent and unique roms thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you...i love u guys and gals
Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I think a small donation (a dollar or two at least) will please the Chefs quite a lot.
If each one donated a dollar to his favorite chef of the rhodium community, he/she would appreciate it a lot. I know many GREAT CHEFS, who's names will stay anonymous) have stopped developing roms just because they weren't getting anything back in return (they were devoting their time to developing, THEY DO HAVE OTHER WORK TO DO AS WELL). They are not asking much. Its only a small donation.
What is a dollar/month compared to what they have given us.
Oh and, Thank you CHEFS

Well said my friend! Donate indeed not only to the chefs but to xda as well!
I'm pleased to see such response off thanks to our good chefs, as you say i know members have stopped developing roms due to lack of appreciation and by starting this thread i hoped to counteract that a little

Hello and welcome to XDA
Hi everyone,
I appreciate this forum and the sharing of info.
I'm in the process of switching to a custom ROM to stop feeding the marketing matrix. I'm happy to see that higher quality hardware is now compatible, but it seems there are various factors that need to be sorted out to be sure a phone will work.
I hope to learn from others here so I can successfully make the switch.
Roger
Welcome to the xda family.
Cheers.
