they turn on as soon as i turn on the phone, they dont even wait for the rom to load so, what is it?
I'm sure yelling and posting twice helps people want to help you.
That said try wiping you SD card (or just removing it) and wiping the phone (including both caches.) And installing a different ROM. If that does not help call Google or HTC

If you remove the battery, and boot the phone, will the LED turns green?
If it does, I have the same problem, then..

you try with another battery (battery type)...!
because the device is hard brick with the physical characteristics of a black screen (no boot loader) and only the green LED on
Same thing happened to my Kaiser last winter. I even tried a new display. Bit nothing. Then I let it rest for one or two weeks and it worked just fine again.. Maybe it was the cold.

hi, thanks for answer
definitely I think that it's without boot loader, but in this moment I don't have another batt, but I don't understand why the LED indicator doesn't turns green when I plug the charger without batt installed, Do you believe that it can be saved?
one more thing, that I was flashing my device, maybe everything inside it was erased,
I don't know it's just a supposition
My advice should you take your device to customers service to be examined or to repair
I hope your device can be saved ..
The headline says it all, this morning it was working and i decided to turn off backlight and turn on the turn off screen option to 40 sec. and now the screen doesnt work and only the buttons and their blacklights.
nevermind screen does work but its really buggy, like a simple press would cause it to scroll a bit down but when i let it go it goes back to its previous location, like its stuck or something. I have been trying to flash it again but i cant get into the activesync option on the phone.
May i suggest a Hard Reset? Returning to factory settings could be a solution...
My Fiancee's G1 wont turn on at all,No T-mobile slpash screen or nothing.LED lights turn on and Call,Home,Back and Power buttons light up except for the screen itself her phone wasnt rooted,I have never experienced this before.
Can someone please help?
the phone is not turning on via the power(end) button???
try pressing the camera button and keeping it pressed, also press the power button to enter into hboot mode...if u succeed in entering that mode, the phone is fine, or else it could be bricked.
Try Home+Power see if you can get into recovery mode.
If you can wipe cache data.
Hi everyone, hope it's okay to post this here since this Question relates to mine.
I'm having a trouble like this except instead it's like my backlight went out, it was working fine until my alarm on my phone went off and when I went to turn it off I had to take the battery out of my phone because the screen wasn't pulling up. It flashed basically, so when I put the battery in the screen came on but no backlight. Could it be due to Cyanogen? I'm restoring my backup to see what else could I try?
could u be a bit more specific?phone is working??? calls etc???or are u stuck somewhere????
As I said, the screen came on but no backlight. The phone works fine except for the backlight I'm trying to figure out if it's a hardware issue or a software issue. I don't know how much more specific I can get really except that the only way to see the screen is to hold it at a certain angle so the light hits it just right.
Hello, sorry if this has been answered, i did a search for black screen and didn't find the same thing.
Basically my nook hd+ is about 2 months out of warranty. When i try to power it on, i can see the screen light up but nothing is displayed (its all black and dims slightly). When i was messing with it trying to reset it, it started to read aloud the applications i touched on or button i pressed. So the touch screen is still working even though it's not displaying anything. I tried to hard reset it, by holding down the buttons and pressing the n twice, but that didn't seem to work either. Anyone got ideas?
Don't know what that is -> "holding down the buttons and pressing the n twice".
But if I had this problem I would...
Hold down the power button for >10 seconds as this completely turns off the device, then attempt to turn it back on.
And if that failed to work... let it sit and run out of battery, then plug it in to the wall usb adapter, let it charge for an hour, then try powering it on with the power button.
And if that failed to work, since its outta warranty, buy something that works.
But that's only what I would do
