SwiftKey keyboard
SwiftKey is like an English professor is alive and working inside your phone. It’s still in beta, but it’s already an amazing little application. What makes SwiftKey different is its ability to predict the next word in your sentence. Predicting the current word is so 2009! Of course everyone loves things that make our lives easier - things like correctly guessing what word comes next. My only issue (and it's a small one) is that you can't enter words that aren't in the dictionary by pressing the spacebar and moving on. You have to actually tap the word to get SwiftKey to enter it.
To sign up and check out the SwiftKey beta head over to SwiftKey.net. It's really polished for a beta, and to be honest I'm planning on using it as is until they release a new version. At the moment SwiftKey is English only, but the developers say that they plan to include support for all the Latin based languages in the near future. No word on availability and pricing of the final version, but by the look and feel of the application, it shouldn't be too far off. Keep an eye on their site for details, and be sure to let me know if you see it slip into the Market before I do!
Pros:
Amazing full word prediction
Easy to add to custom dictionary
Also predicts punctuation
Special characters are easily entered by long pressing
Cons:
Learning curve
Can be laggy when first starting up
Will always pick the word it thinks is correct, so be careful with the spacebar

The red squiggles show where I think a clue could be placed to show there are more items in the list. It could be an arrow key or any standard method of indicating there are moe things out of view. The red and green arrows are just possible alternatives. The programs touch flo screen could do with the same as it is not OBVIUOS there are more items to be seen.
A nice silver triangle button that fades when there are no more items would be cool.
Some may ask why I suggest this interface usability tweak (in any format). Good question.

Hmmmm......after using TF3D or even READING THE MANUAL it is obvious that there are more items to display.....
Don´t need an arrow in e.g. the contacts application to remind me that there is more than just one page.......but then again, that´s just me.......
BTW: I´ve long turned off TF3D for a less funky but faster and more usable interface.....
But
RTFM and learning are not available to the people who are not 'lovers' of the technology.
They pick it up, look at it, and don't enquire..
Many business users are almost or over, half a century old.
They wouldn't see the value of XDA Developers, etc.

O3touch brings us a perfect solution that integrates searching and contact managing with Email and Sms sending in one environment, in a real one finger operation, fast and easy to use - and all that for free!
My immediate reaction. After a day of use, I found myself asking “where have you been before?”.
I can not understand how I managed before. I don’t find myself any more thinking twice before going into the process of sending an Email or texting. Now I don’t think twice – it’s all so easy and fast.
We have seen many applications dialers trying to deal with these issues, not even close to what has been accomplished by o3touch. They are heavy, slowing down the device and don’t really do the whole job.
Suddenly everything is big! From the contact name to the text message, not to forget the incoming caller’s name.
Searching, writing, replying, editing, you name it, it’s all visually clear and easily done with one finger – you can forget your stylus at home!
One of the most amazing features is the high ability to customize the o3touch to your preferences. There are 40 deferent setting options.
You can decide what functions you want to take advantage of.
You can adjust the speed of the app, select keyboards combination, change the entire UI language, sound level, visual effect and much more.

This game works in both portrait and landscape mode. You can use the touchscreen, trackball, or keyboard to navigate the entire game. You can also shake the phone to "wrench" the letters around. Supports sounds and vibrations.
When the market allows developers to charge for applications I will put up a non time restricted version for $1, and I will also put up a demo version with a very limited dictionary for free so that newcomers can try before they buy. Charging for an app may not be the most popular thing, but I definitely put in a lot of work on this game and I think it is the type of game with a high replay rate that would be worth a dollar.
Feel free to let me know what you think
Awesome! I loved Text Twist.
Its about time a real game came out for the market! love it good job!
as I said in the market, I will gladly pay a $1 for a good working program like this! Works great, no issues so far except it wont let me make up words I THINK should work
Great game.
BUG: Round should end when all words have been guessed.

[Q] How to suggest this to google (keyboard related)?

Hi,
There is a problem I have with the Android keyboard. You may know Spanish (my language) uses accents to determine a word's strong syllable. The problem is, Android's keyboard seems to relegate words with accents to the end of the autocomplete list. Take a look at this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Here I'm trying to write "también" ("also" in English) but the dictionary wants to write "tambienes" instead (which to my knowledge isn't even a real word).
Here I'm trying to write "iré este año" (I will go this year) but the dictionary prefers "Nano" to "año", even though that word is much less similar to the letters I'm entering. Not only that: it offers many other words (anoxe, amor, amplia, animales... for God's sake, some of them aren't even remotely similar!) and the right one ("año", meaning "year") only appears last. That indicates Android's dictionary prefers literally anything before words including accents.
I really think this is wrong and should be solved, where would be the best place to file a bug?
I've noticed if I'm aiming for a short word, it will suggest all the longer words (and variations) before my word. Sometimes placing it three clicks to the right, when all I needed was to write three more letters to finish the word.
"Acquiesce" is an ok example. However little that word is used. There's others, just can't think of them. So maybe post in Google's Help forum.

Nice
Although I don't read or write the Arabic script myself, I checked the program because it interested me from a technical point of view.
I would say a very nice program. I guess it was quite some work to build all this keyboard functionality more or less from bottom-up, because the WP7 standard SIP cannot be used.
The ability to mix Persian/Arabic and English or more exactly Latin script is impressive; if I myself try to think about all this left-to-right / right-to-left stuff, I tend to get a headache...
However, you may debug cursor positioning within Latin script somewhat more. It's quite easy to end up with the cursor in the middle of letters, and if you try to delete characters after moving the cursor through Latin letters, almost always the wrong characters are deleted.
The auto-repeat cursor movement is clever, but - isn't there always a "but" - much too fast for my liking, especially if you can also make large moves by going whole lines up and down.
Is there a way to paste text? If not, adding one would be nice.
