I'm looking for alternative ways to get into DIAG mode on the galaxy tab sch-i800. I'm running cm10, and i have done a framework-res edit for the dialer to be there. It will go into only one menu and that is *#*#info#*#* .
I need to cdma workshop on this thing and cannot get it on a port because of this.
I'm trying to manually flash to Page Plus, which i have already gotten it activated on there side.
But dialer is ending my call to activation.
I have tried many option's and phoneutil is what I have came across the most in forum's but cannot get there, and there is very little threads for this device on this kinda thing, JB have different menus?
==UPDATE== Figured out you have to command in terminal emulator and I was having driver issue's after using heimdall, I still never got to connect to cdma workshop in CM10 because i Had already went stock when i figured it out. But managed to connect when i was stock but no luck unlocking with any samsung codes in cdma. But was able to program my min and mdn using ##program#.
So, I had an LG Revolution that was unlocked and the SPC Code was 000000. I was able to load Cricket PRL and set everything up. I had talk and text and web and everything was working fine. Then my Wife put in her old SD card from another Verizon phone of hers and the Revolution reverted back to Verizon settings. The SPC code is no longer 000000, the "about phone" menu stopped working and if I read phone with QPST the data settings are back to @vzw........
How do I change the SPC code or unlock the phone so I can flash it again?
Oh, and I know I shouldn't be able to read the phone with QPST if I don't know the SPC code but I can. I just can't write to it. I also can't access the LG Service menu. I get an error message for entering the wrong SPC code.
No answer?

No answer? At all?? It just happened to my Fascinate SCH-i500 too Got no clue on why this happened, and sadly... lesser clue on how to fix it, did you find out anything about what happened to your device's SPC??? Thanks a lot in advance
1) MSL Utility.apk does not work (works in my Samsung S4 though). It quits whenver I try to open the app.
2) CDMA Workshop does not display MSL (SPC) when typed in the password (this trick worked in my EVO 4G before).
3) Neither ##prl# / ##SERIAL# works on my phone (Android 5.0.2) so I cann't use MSL Reader or HTC-One-MSl.exe introduced in these two threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700973

I just ran out of ideas.... Can anyone help?

Thanks. It works. I was able to flash the phone in CDMA workshop and QPST (even with S-ON) Now, I definitely don't need to pay for S-OFF at the moment...
I havent figured out a root strategy quite yet but i am working on it. i do believe there is a way to unlock the bootloader and make it possible to flash custom recovery. I am just missing a few key things in regards to the Hidden Menus dialer codes. If you all could check it out and tell me if you find anything useful please let me know thanks.
Here is a list of the Hidden Menu Dialer codes i have found that work most with description. (some i am unsure of what they do)

**05**(msl/mmi/spc code)# -unlock Sim (mmispc)
if you dont have your T-Mobile sim unlock code then it is easy to get. Simply call your T-Mobile hotline from another phone. Request that you get a sim unlock code because you have accidentally locked your phone. they will have you go through instructions to reset that number. the 6 digit code that they give you will be your msl/spc code that is necessary to unlock your device.
Please try these hidden menu dialer codes and tell me if you come up with anything that i may find interesting towards rooting and oem unlocking the phone. thanks

Found this on android.stackexchange.com don't no if it might help
I found one clue about CP/AP, and it's from a discussion at Android Central. One Galaxy S4 user with AT&T in the US had to use this service menu to switch from CP to AP, in order for Samsung Kies software on the PC to recognize his phone. It kept saying SGH-I337 does not support initialising. It seemed to have something to do with a custom bootloader by AT&T, and it was probably set to CP mode by default. That's a clue, but not a clear fact. Switching it to AP made it recognized in Kies. – samirg Aug 31 '15 at 15:47

Maybe switching it will have u some kind if advantage with the bootloader I'd try myself but my cpu is down and out the moment
Using the *#0808# code of course

This actually isn't working on Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Verizon in 2018. It actually tries to dial an actual phone number, not go to the unlocker. What is wrong with the Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini? Why doesn't this work on the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Verizon on Android KitKat 4.4.2?

The correct code for extended Version Info is *#12580*369#
It will work on most but not all models/firmwares.
