Hi Guys,
I updated to FroYo on my N1 and everything is working perfectly except for my exchange calendar. It is showing all my appointments a day early.
All my emails etc are correct time. My phone shows correct time. All the appointments from google account show on correct day.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Bumping. Hmmm either no one has the problem or no here is using exchange on FroYo?
working fine for me.
Calendar sync is working perfectly for me - Happy Camper over here!

I'm experiencing the same problem but only for "All Day" events.
I've got the same issue for all-day events... Something occurring on say the 25th of May would be shown as both 24th & 25th. Hopefully they'll release the source code soon and we can fix it!

check time zones and daylight savings on both the computer and the phone, I've seen that happen in the corporate world when an all day event is entered in eastern and someone looking at it from central time zone sees it over 2 days
Same problem here only with "All Day Events" - they appear one day earlier. It is possible that since my exchange server is in the UK and I work in China - the 7 hour time difference may be the factor - possible, but I doubt it since others are experiencing similar problems. When I open these events on my phone, they show that they span over midnight.
All Day Events created on the phone appear just fine - both on Outlook and the Phone.

I had the same problem.
It was a time-zone problem.
Thus my clock was indicating the right hour, somewhere in settings my time-zone was incorrect.
I changed it and in a second, everything came back to normal schedule.
Hope this helps.

My outlook client and phone are on the same timezone. If I create an all day event on the phone, it shows properly both on the phone and outlook client. If I create an all day event via outlook, it shows properly on outlook, but on the phone it is behind by 1 day. It very well may be a timezone or setting issue - but I can't find any options to put it right. Suggestions? I have checked the settings via Outlook Web Access and those are also set same as my outlook client.
My work around now is to not set all day events, but rather set their time - at least now I can see the event on the day it was intended.
I added some screenshots to clarify. I created an all day event via Outlook Web Access (my notebook is at the office) - Vacation set for 3 JUN (all day). When my phone syncs, it appears as an all day even on 2 JUN. It does not appear to matter if my OWA timezone settings are set for GMT or +8 HRS like here in China.
What are your reminders set to? I don't use them on my all day events, and set them all up using my exchange email account on my work computer (when I get my schedule, I add it in right away... also always adding in other things, such as testing/training reminders, client call backs, etc.)

Thanks... that was my first thought as well, but looking at the activesync data sent, the server is using the correct timezone:
I.e. I'm currently BST (GMT+1), and I've added an all day event for the 2nd:
Code:
<POOMCAL:Subject>
Testing
</POOMCAL:Subject>
<POOMCAL:StartTime>
20100601T230000Z
</POOMCAL:StartTime>
<POOMCAL:EndTime>
20100602T230000Z
</POOMCAL:EndTime>
<POOMCAL:AllDayEvent>
1
</POOMCAL:AllDayEvent>
But the phone shows that as being for the 1st in the agenda view, and if you click on the appointment, it says Monday, 31 May (!!!) - Tuesday, 1 June. I can't begin to think how it's getting that from the above activesync transmission... :-s
Just checked my original report to Google and that's now been updated in an encouraging way:

OK, so I had some all day items in my calendar that weren't showing up on my tilt. So I tried and tried to replicate the occurence but I couldn't. Well after a couple weeks I've finally traced the issue, here's what happens.
I'll be on the road and will create an item on my calendar on my laptop (seems to only happen for all day items that I have "labelled", where you choose a color), but outlook will be "disconnected". I will then get home and regain connection to my outlook server, and the items will sync. Well usually, almost instantaneously, the item will be pushed to my tilt and will show up on it's calendar, but they don't.
So can someone test this on their device? Just disconnect outlook (you can right click on the "connected" in the bottom right portion of the status bar to disconnect), create an all day, labelled event for say, tomorrow. Then reconnect outlook, and sync your device.... does it show up?
Noone can take 30 seconds out of their busy day to test this?
I haven't run the test that you're asking, but I have around 100 recurring all day events with labels attached and they're showing up on my TyTN II (holidays, birthdays, conferences, etc).

And I have lots of labelled items showing up as well.... the key here is that the item has to be created AND labelled before being sent to the server.
Example 1: You create an all day event while outlook is connected to server. By the time you save, and right click on the new event to label it, outlook has already sent the event with no label to the server, and this is replicated to the tilt, without a label. Then you label the event in outlook, and the event is simply modded, and that mod sent to the tilt.
Example 2: You create an all day even while outlook is NOT connected to the server, and once you save it, it is NOT sent to the server. Then you label it, and reconnnect. The event is then sent as a new event, label and all, which is in turn sent to the tilt as a new event WITH a label, which I suspect the tilt doesn't like.
Think about it in terms of mail. How many times have you been away for a while, done a send receive in outlook (from say a POP client into your exchange mailbox) and when the mail comes in, you have rules that move it from the inbox to a certain folder, this happens almost instantaneously but I still have had items pop up in my normal inbox on my tilt because of that split second it's actually in the inbox before it's moved to a folder.
Played around with outlook calendar some more yesterday and I can also replicate the issue by doing the following:
Find an all day, labelled event somewhere on your calendar, copy it (click on it while hitting Ctrl-C very quickly, this is in month view), and paste is on a different date. That new event should not show up on your tilt calendar if you are syncing over the air (as in over the cell network, not a bluetooth or wi-fi sync to your home computer)
Can SOMEONE try this? Not asking for your first born.
bumpity bump

Blackjack and MotoQ
I can confirm the same issue for a user here using both a Blackjack I and MotoQ.
Tonight / this morning is daylight savings time for me [Nova Scotia] and my phone is acting weird. It didn't move the time automatically [even after reset]. I had to move it myself. However, now in Atlantic Standard Time, my phone is reading every event in my calendar an hour off [earlier]... Google calendar is accurate in its web version on my laptop.
In order to have an accurate calendar on my phone, I had to choose a different time zone and manually set the time.
Anyone else have this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Same I am in NS just go into the settings and change the time to the correct, my calender still shows the same times so it is good, just the clock needs to be updated manually.
Nas
I changed the time automatically, but all my events are still off [1hr early] in Atlantic Standard Time. Still accurate on Google.
Talked in person to another user. We both neded to set time manually and calendars are off. My phone is now set to Greenland time to have the calendar times accurate . Help?
just noticed my calender is missed up too, i guess it is Greenland for me lol
Any further thoughts on what's wrong with our phones / calendar sync?
When I open calender and switch to month view, I try to select a future date for which I have nothing scheduled and instead of going to the day I selected, it goes to the last day have something scheduled. Does that make sense? Anyone else find this annoying ?
Yep - happens here also
I work night shifts and want to figure out how to get the times to show up on the lock screen instead of Wednesday - Thursday as I don't work the same times everytime.... :/
Doesn't happen to me - when i press future date from month view calendar, it goes to the future day i selected.
Calendar option: Windows live is ON
phone name and model: HTC HD7 T9292
OS Version: 7.07004.0
FW Rev#: 2250.09.12302.728
Same as BlueGreenWhite, doesn't happen on mine. When i select a future date from Month view, it opens up that date.
It depends whether you are in a day or agenda view (before accessing the month view). If you are in a day view it'll go to the selected day, if you are in agenda view it'll go to the next day with appointment which makes sense as days without appointments aren't displayed in agenda view.
There you go, Mystery solved
Thanks, makes complete sense
Calendar working good.
I sync with Gmail Contact and Calendar. Everything works fine except that the Birthdays recorded into Contact cannot be show/sync on HD7 calendar.
Thanks for the tip, it does now make sense!
Another problem I have just found, after one month has passed calendar appointments disappear from handset calendar (not reoccuring ones) but remain OK on Windows Live Calendar on PC/in Outlook. This is a problem for me as I like to keep all my past appointments with me on the handset.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

I wouldn't call that a problem. Why is it so important to have past appt's on your calendar?
Past appointments are important to keep on the handset as sometimes I need to refer back to certain dates in meetings.
Past Calendar is IMPORTANT

Yes. Agreed. Past calendar is very important when you need to trace back your appointment.
I do have the same problem, I think something wrong with the Sync . . .
Under Windows Live (Primary), the setting only allow to check/uncheck the Mail.
Under Gmail, the setting allow to check/uncheck the Mail, Contact & Calendar.
Sometimes can sync and sometimes can't. Waiting for the FIX from Microsoft.
Yes, I am hoping this will be fixed by Microsoft in the next update. Will be most dissappointed if it is not.
On a recent trip, with the autoupdate time on, the phone time changes correctly to the current time zone. However, every calendar appointment changes by the offset from the original time zone time to the local time. For appointments, reservations etc. this requires you to remember the timezone and time of the appointment as opposed to what the calendar shows (i.e., meeting at 3 p.m. which is now showing as 4 p.m. since you moved from CST to EST). Samsung confirmed that this is the case and had no workaround. I see this with other Samsung phones going back to 2008. It looks like you can either have accurate time or a hosed calendar. Is there a fix other than using some other calendar or synching to to some other calendar?
Have you tried creating the events on your google account, instead of the phone's "My Calendar"?
Thanx but no, I am looking to use the phone and its calendar only.
Since last update, Assist lets you choose more than one calendar to trigger meeting mode. In my phone, though, it only works for the main calendar.
I've already checked the requeriments for an event to trigger meeting:
is from a calendar visible on device
is from a calendar that you are the owner
has been accepted
is not deleted
is not cancelled
is not all day (all day event box checked) or duration < 24
Meetings where you’re marked as “Available” will not trigger meeting mode
(from https://motorola-global-portal.cust...swer_detail/a_id/94933/p/30,6720,8696#meeting)
My events respect all points in that list.
The only thing that bugged is the "is from a calendar that you are the owner" requirement. I realised all calendars I create are not "as mine" as the main calendar is... Even though I created it through google.com/calendar, in the settings all calendars (except the main one) have a "cancel subscription" option, like it isn't really mine. But that's so weird...

Hi, I have the same problem here, I also noticed in my calender that the 'not default' ones I can also 'unsubscribe' to. Even when I create a new one, I can unsubscribe. So I'm thinking that is indeed the problem. Question is, how do we solve it. I've been searching the internet for a solution to make myself owner of the calender, whithout results. Anyone of you who knows how we can do this?
I'm having the same problem. I left a comment on the Play Store to see if that might elevate the issue. It's frustrating that it's been this way for almost a month now.
I'm having the same issue as well.. I opened a thread in the Motorola forums as well but still no resolution ...
https://forums.motorola.com/posts/386638fc4c
I called Motorola support and they suggested a hard reset (not sure what they think that will solve but whatever I tried it anyway because the dude insisted that might fix it...). Surprise, hard reset did nothing. Then the guy said the ONLY other solution he had was to do a factory reset... ughhh.
Ok. Fine.
Backed up all my stuff, factory reset. annnndddddd....
Nothing. Assist still doesn't trigger a meeting from any of my other calendars. I'm gonna give Moto a call again but I suspect they will be no help. I think we're probably gonna have to live without it until they actually listen and realize the feature is broken and update with a fix.
Has anybody else had any luck getting this to work with multiple calendars?
I did some troubleshooting tonight since I was also having the problem reported here. Turns out, I can only trigger Assist using events in the first calendar in each account. My accounts have multiple calendars (for different projects at work), but any events on those additional calendars are ignored regardless of the fact that I checked them off in the Assist settings for which calendars to use. For me, the solution was to put events that require silence into the first calendar of the account. Assist seems to treat that as the primary calendar; other calendars are seen as if they're not owned by the account.
Sent from my XT1053 using XDA Free mobile app
The latest version of Assist (2.3.15) seems to have solved this issue. Secondary calendars are working again for me now.
