Easecase - HD2 Accessories

Yo. I own a T-Mobile USA HTC HD2. During my endeavors to find some cases for my phone, I came upon this Asia-based seller of leather goods for cell phones on ebay: Easecase. The posting on ebay reads as specific to the HTC HD2 Leo.
I messaged the seller inquiring it's fitment to the T-Mobile USA HTC HD2. The seller responds with a flat out NO. Over-zealously eager to procure one for myself, I examine the photos carefully and convince myself that the 1.5 mm height difference would not deter me from ordering.
I go ahead and order the E4 Custom-Made Leather case for HTC HD2 HD 2 II (Leo) with the following customization selections:
#. Item code: EC-E4-HTC-HD2
1. Outer leather: YQ cowhide black
2. Lining leather: Nappa cowhide black
3. Closure: None
4. Back: None
5. Personal words engraving: None
Excellent communications received from the seller. Follow-through in manufacturing and shipping were exactly as described. Ordered Wednesday, April 28th. Picked up from the post office Monday, May 24th. Close to a month, but for a customized, newly fabricated leather good coming from China, I had the patience.
Now, I've got a case that looks great, and I know I'm one of the only people with such an item. My only regret is the form-factor. I do not fault the seller just my over-eagerness. I cannot hold the phone to my ear while it rests in the case b/c the rigid flap what holds the cards and I.D. now swats me in the face. I did not take this into consideration, but I like the case none-the-less.
SOLUTION: Bluetooth headset! More tech toys are always fun!
Cheers!

Phone cases

As we all did, we paid high dollar price for this phone. I will pay a reasonable price to keep this high dollar electronic from harms way.
Please reply from experience. Also, if its not too much, please send a link so I can check it out and read reviews about it.
Thanks a again.
There's a whole section on kaiser accessories, and there are plenty of case reviews in there. Check it out:

Piel Frama case all the ways mate! they are class, expensive but of very high quality
I've been using Krusell cases for quite some time now. They continue to impress me with their quality. I picked this one up through Amazon for around $40...

The last one I had with my Wizard still appeared to be brand new when I sold the phone three years later.
perfect case
i just recently bought a case for my tilt from a verizon store. It is a horizontal case with a flap on top that closes with magnets. I think it is by far the nicest case i have seen thus far and the best part... it was only $20. The clip swivels on the back so you can have it horizontal or vertical on your belt. The verizon part number is suspchm2. It is a universal case made of black quality leather/pleather with white stitching. I love it.

Best case for HD2

Hello,
just received the case for my HD2 from pdair, in fact this one:
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000801&products_id=24581
It's not my first purchase via pdair. If anyone looks for a classy case, built of fine and soft leather and manufactured on the millimeter, simply go for this case !
This is no advertisement, I neither get paid by pdair nor am I affiliated with them in any way (unfortunately...).
Already purchased the case for the Touch HD from them.
Actually the HD2 also fits in there and this is what I did until the new case came today.
I'd been a bit concerned therefore if they wouldn't offer the same case in disguise for two different device models.
Well they didn't
I have always preferred "horizontal pouch type" cases, they are most practical to wear, that's at least my experience.
Only downside was:
If you live in Europe, like I do, its quite some distance to Hong Kong and I had to wait for the good to arrive (unfortunately air cargo space over Christmas time becomes additionally scarce).
Let's hope they will have some distribution point in the EU region some time.
As far as I could see there is no retailer in Europe offering their cases.
In case someone knows one, pls post here.

I ordered the same pouch. I am using a brando black silicon skin on my hd2 and I hope that with the elastic sides of the pouch I can put my phone with the silicon skin on in the pouch. This is simply impossible with other pouches. (I've bought already 2 pouches) I will keep you informed when I receive my pouch. I think that many others will be interested in a pouch in which they can put their phone with a silicon skin on.

Oops.
I am sure this will be problematic as I said:
The pdair case is no "generic case", as offered by several manufacturers (already was "cheated" myself by such resellers, sent back these cases of course), it really fits on the millimeter.
Yes, there is a rubberized, flexible strap on each side of the case, but as the HD2 itself is very thin, these straps are as well.
So if your rubber cover (or case) is very, very thin, the HD2 might fit in the pdair case with it.
Yes, just post your findings for others.
If it won't fit in and you can't use it or pdair won't take it back (never had to return anything to them), put it on ebay and post to others they can get a cheap good case there for the HD2 ;-)

ghl10000
I had a look on the website, and the cases look very professional. I have ordered one for my new HTC HD2, which arrives tomorrow.
Cheers!

I've just ordered it, from the UK! Its from a company on Ebay for £15 with free delivery. As ghl10000, I've had some of their products before and l'm using my HD PDair case with my HD2, but decided to take the plunge once I found this on Ebay (and used my Ebay Plus Points voucher ) Had one for my N95 as well and have never been happier. Very high quality and perfect fit.

I've received today my pouch and it fits ... tight, but it fits. I've to use some force to close the pouch but I think it will fit better after some time. This is for me the first pouch which fits my hd2 with invisible shield and silicon case. I don't think a better protection is possible. I am to test it out the next days. The pouch itself is well made of soft leather. The only concern I have are the elastic sides of the pouch, but I am not to much concerned about this because I usualy buy a new phone every year. (one is already speaking of the hd3 for the end of the year?)
edit : I've removed the invissible shield on the screen because it is to soft for this pouch - it gives an 'impression' of the innerside skin of the pouch (where the magnet is). I've reinstalled an anti-glare screenprotector which gives no problems with this pouch. The invisible shield was also too reflective in the sun.
i got my alu case from pdair a few days ago (ebay 19 Eur) and have the following problem: it looks like that the elastic band which should protect the hd2 is a little bit too thick!!!
the effect is, that when i close the case, the lid pushed on the corners and a couple of contacts are executed (most in the corners) and the hd2 begins to react - looks like an animated film, but i can´t laugh!
they will ship me a new one (package was prized out with originated for htc/leo hd2)...

how good are these cases. anyone bought them? cant find reviews anywhere. they look nice but want to know the quality

Looks like this one:

which I ordered and is in the mail. I'm not sure if anyone has reviewed it yet; will post when I get it.
i received mine from that company today. they sent me the wrong one. its for hd2 but different case, material & colour. fits great but i'm unhappy. it picks up dust like magnet.

PDAIR is good Product but for me I choose Krusell rather then PDAIR.
I used PDair for my Imate 9502 and Krusell for HTC HD and now I'm looking for Krusell for my new HTC HD2
Guys -- This is my first post, I hope I'm in the right place. I was just visiting this forum to see what info might exist regarding the PDair Aluminium Metal Cases. I recently purchased one (Product Code: 1BHTH2B51) for my HTC HD2 and am extremely dissatsfied with it. I just want to add my comments in support of others who have previously also expressed dissatisfaction with this case. The problem is specifically the design of the case which permits the cover (with or without the plastic screen protector) to touch the perimeter of the telephone screen setting off various applications randomly (see attached video demonstration). The problem makes the telephone completely unusable while the cover is closed. I have emailed PDair to express my disatisfaction with the case design and their response has been evasive, to say the least. My honest advice would be to to steer well clear of the PDair Aluminium Metal Cases for the HTC HD2 until they are redesigned.

It might be helpful to anyone considering the PDair metal cases as opposed to the leather ones.
PDair Horizontal Vs Vertical
I'm swithering as to whither i should go for a vertical or horizontal PDair pouch for the HD2. I've previously had a horizontal pouch for older phones but the size of the HD2 concerns me, i'm thinking that the HD2 might sit less awkwardly if vertical. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

The best case would obviously be the Piel Frama iMagnum HTC HD2 case, its prolly also the most expensive one. Down side is the long delivery time, i am currently allready waiting for 2 weeks to receive mine.

I bought one of those cases from NETIMES.COM (http://bit.ly/6s1eNy) and it's quality. For less than £3 it's a steal! Quality fitting with great protection. Adds minimal bulk to the phone and is very durable. The scratch resistant screen of the HD2 takes care of itself and the case does the rest. Everyone who has an HD2 should buy this now. Top marks! 9/10.

The PDair luxury silicone case is great Does not pick up much dust at all due to the textured surface.... fits snugly without much play...
I wished someone would make a nice brushed aluminum and rubber hard back... a combination of those two materials would make for a beautiful backing/case for our HD2's

I bought this case here in the states, 4 day shipping. I really didn't want to spend this much for case, but wanted to protect hd2. This is best case I've ever seen, great fit, & protection, corners are real well protected. Very happy I decided to get it.
Awesome!!
I went for a rubberized one also by them instead.
never used a rubberized one before, this time i really wanna give it a try.
+1 for the Piel Frama iMagnum. I got a plain black one and it is by far the best case I have ever had, my friend (who also has the HD2) called me mad for paying so much for a case, but when he saw it, he promptly went out and ordered a custom model with his name on etc. The iMagnum range is beautifully made, perfectly designed and offers complete all round protection for the HD2, if you have don't mind paying that bit extra, I would strongly recommend it.

Ebay HD2 Case Problem...

I bought a HD2 case from eBay at the end of January.
The plastic part which holds the phone has started to crack and break off after only 8 weeks use. I contacted the seller but they responded saying only 28 days warranty is provided...
Is this right, given that the case was bought brand new from a UK seller?
I can't post links because i'm a new user. If anyone is interested the case is listed as:
BLACK LEATHER WALLET CASE II FOR HTC HD 2 HD2 + FILM

Review of Noreve Case for Dell Streak

I am surprised to be the first to review this product on the web, has anyone bought it? I have been resisting buying a case for my Streak for almost 3 months as I was waiting for the launch of Otterbox Commuter (yep it launched one day after I purchased Noreve, crap luck). But could not resist the temptation of a posh Noreve case with built-in kick-stand and detachable belt-clip, even though the price is steep.
Now I just received my Noreve case today, and my reaction is two-folds:
YES, I made the right choice!
High quality leather, build & design. Live up to Noreve's reputation. The case fits so seamlessly to my Streak that it feel like an integrated part of it.
Feels compact and still pocketable, though the general thickness is 2cm, and another 0.2cm for the kick-stand. Should provide decent protection from drops I think.
Built-in Kick-Stand is so cool, and does not add bulk to the case. Best kick-stand design among all Noreve's phone products IMO.
Flip cover folds nicely to the back when using the Streak in both landscape & portrait mode. No need to worry about a dangling flip when making phone calls.
Makes my Streak look like a professional digital diary. Way too cool to bring to business meetings than using a silicon or plasticky case!
Reasonable price (US$51.88 after 15% discount coupon) compared to other Streak cases, considering the quality and features. But see shipping cost below.
NO, I should have waited one more day!
NO BELT CLIP!!! Noreve's website claimed it is bundled, but it is not, and from the design it seems belt clip is not supported as there is no "screw" for clip attachment. I have send Noreve an email to question about that. A huge disappointment here.
Cheap packaging. Where is the posh gift box package that ships with typical Noreve products?
Ridiculous shipping cost (US$27.84). I received it on day 8, although Noreve's order initially stated "UPS Saver : Delivery in 2/4 days Singapore".
Conclusion, if it ships with all items as expected (belt clip, nice packaging, 2-4 days delivery), I am sure to say the money is well spent and I probably won't miss Otterbox Commuter. Unfortunately I have to live with some regrets for now.
Below are some pictures to share.

Thanks for taking time to do this
here is Noreve's response to the issues I reported:
thank you for your message. We had to remove the belt clip. The case with the device was too heavy and the belt clip was breaking too easily. We have to remove the belt clip on the website. sorry.
Packaging. As you can see the product is too big. We are working now on the same packaging as other products but it is not ready yet... so we are using this white box.
Shipping fees. 2/4 days is transit time. So it is the delay when the package is shipped, not when the order is placed. It was shipped on the 23rd. What you have to know also is that our country was blocked last week with strikes..."

So there you are, detachable belt clip is not supported but was previously advertised (see attachment), gift box packaging will be coming soon (not for early adopter like me), delivery time stated is only transit time not end-to-end.
Well I appreciate the honest & prompt response from Noreve, but that does not make me happy at all. Lesson learnt - it doesn't pay to be an early adopter/supporter. Life sucks.

As with the Tuff-Luv and Otterbox cases (and probably some others too) they forgot the cutouts for the proximity sensor. Seems like there is only one (in this case quite stupid) Streak case designer on the planet working for several OEMs...
that is not true. Noreve has cut-out for proximity sensor. I owned one.

Tuff-Luv fixed that problem as soon as they heard about it, their cases come with the correct cutouts.

[Q] {REQUEST} Belt Pouch that fits?

Has anyone bought or knows of a Belt Pouch case for the HD7 that actually fits the HD7 and has a magnetic clasp.
I have tried two different cases from two different amazon businesses and neither was big enough, they don't bother checking, getting my money back on both but need to find one that DOES fit the HD7 fine.
Jamie
I bought this one and it fits my HD7 very well.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00466DL1O/ref=oss_product
Only issue is that it's not leather. It's some sort of leather replica material made out of rubber which gave it a strong rubber smell when I took it out of the package. The smell has disapated over the days.
Thanks for the info Kino, after searching online all day I have ordered two different style cases from http://www.pdair.com/ a lot of UK Mobile shops stock their products so decided to look at their site and they have just brought out a range of new cases and such specifically designed to fit the HD7 and only the HD7.
Good warranty and prices too as it's free worldwide shipping, just need to wait and see what turns up now.
Jamie
I'm looking for a holster myself. they have one for the iphone that alows you to have a your case on the phone and it fits in the holster.

Sorry to say. That I actually have\had that case for my HD2. And the stitching on the inside was a little poor and where the brown on the inside met the black on the outside was misaligned very noticeably. Overall, it was just poor build quality. I actually have this case http://www.cellularoutfitter.com/p-...ontal-leather-carrying-pouch-for-htc-hd7.html and it works perfect too. I actually bought it for my HD2 also. And it fits just fine on the HD7. I actually believe I paid less than 12.00 for it, but can't find or remember the site.
Try the following site, I've always bought my PDA/Smartphone accessories from them:
http://www.shop.brando.com
Ha, forgot I had started this thread, I got my 2 cases from PDair, both came in nice boxes and were very nicely finished. Designed specifically for the HD7 and they fit perfectly when they came, been using it every day for last 3months and it's great.
