Vario III - crackle during call not speakerphone

I keep getting a crackling sound during calls, this is happening when using the phone with the normal mic/earpiece not when using the speakerphone. The other person does not hear it, today when it happened I turned to speaker phone and back to normal again and this stopped the crackling but isn't of course a solution. It can start at anytime during a call and so far the only way I've managed to stop it was by turning speaker on and off again but only done this once so can't say if it will work again.
I know about the speaker phone problems but is anyone else getting this problem when using the normal mic/earpiece?

Well I my Kaiser doesn't have this problem. It does, however, make a strange static sound sometimes after I end a call. But that's just weird, doesn't really bothers me.

Anyone else?

My Kaiser’s having problems with loudspeaker on the back. The sound is very silent and sound quality is very poor. I don’t know what happened. I watched film on my Kaiser on full blast and suddenly loudspeaker get broken, it means, the sound was silent . I cranked it up, but it didn’t work. I thought, it was rom fault, but the same situation is when I installed other roms. When I use cans, the sound is ok, and when I‘m on call there is everything ok. The problem is when I talk on my cell phone using hands-free device. I don’t hear the person I talk with.
What happened to my mobile? What should I do?

Well, if your speaker was working and all of a sudden it quit working then it probably is broken. You said you already flashed a new ROM so software issue goes out the door. What do you mean by "when I use cans, the sound is ok"? When you are on call, it uses the ear-piece speaker so that's not related.

Can't hear callers and they can't hear me.

I have a rooted Captivate running 2.2 stock. It is also unlocked and I am currently using the phone in the UK with a pay as you go sim card from Orange. I therefore updated to 2.2 through Kies Mini. All was well.
Then all of a sudden, I would make or get a call, and could hear nothing. Not even the ringing as it was connecting to them. And on the other end of the line, they couldn't hear me either. It is as if the Captivate was connecting the call, but the rest of it'd hardware (mic and speaker) was turned off.
This doesn't always happen, probably 1 out of every 2 calls. I've learned that by restarting the phone I can normally make a working call. However, sometimes, all I will hear is muffled static, as if the sound coming from the other person was all distorted. I will hang up and call back to no sound whatsoever.
I'm really not sure what the problem is, it's very odd. Everything else functions as it should.
Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance!

Try going back to stock and starting over? It sounds like it is something with the software since it was working before the update.

HELP! Buzzing sound when making calls

So when i make calls i hear a buzzing or cracking noise from the earpeace but it doesnt distort the call quality or the sound of the other person
its just making the noise all the time and its annoying, when i first got the phone it was there and then i returned it and they said they replaced the speaker and it got quieter but now it sort of is coming back
closest i can come to describing it is that sound that you speakers make when someone(or yourself) is getting a call or something
so help me please

Happens with me since I bought the sgs .....no fix for it afaik.

What ROM do you use ?
It's probably due to your kernel.
Did you try to change it ?

same with 3 different roms and 3 different kernels :/

Have the same problem. It's not a ROM/kernel issue afaik as I'always trying out different stuff and the problem has been consistent

Moto G2 LTE (XT1072): No sound

Hey guys,
for some reason my Moto G2 isn't working properly. Firstly I had no sound during calls when using the loudspeaker-function during calls, then I also hadn't any sound during calls using the usual earpiece-function. In both cases, music and YouTube-movies worked fine with a nice and loud sound and the other person heard me, it was just me who had no sound during calls.
So I wiped the phone with no result, still I don't have any sound during calls but in addition to this, right now I also have a very very quiet sound during music and movies, it's just unusable. Wiped the phone again, but the problem still isn't solved as I don't get any kind of sound right now.
Do you can help me, searching in the internet didn't help me that much that's why I'm opening this thread. Im guessing it's a software-isssue and no hardware-related problem.
