One of my friend has HTC HD and long back he had got the rom installed, but not sure where he got this downloaded.
If we see in the start-settings—system-About it says
Windows 6.5 Professional
CE OS 5.2.23017(build 23017.5.3.0)
In Device information we get
Rom Version: Miri WM 6.5 | 26.3 WWE
ROM date: 03/30/09
Radio Version: 1.17.25.09
Protocol Version 52.69.25.37U
Pleased help me to locate this rom, if not let me know if there is a way to backup this rom ?
Any suggestions will be helpful

but that is a very old version of the rom, you might try to ask miri himself if he has a copy of the file.

Where could I download the the original ROM for HTC Touch HD? I flashed a cooked ROM in my HD but I need to put the original ROM back.
ROM Version: 1.14.401.3 (22273) WWE
ROM Date: 10/24/08
I had the same problem. Wanted to go back to stock after trying out a few cooked ones, but could not find this version anywhere.
Instead I'm now using the newest Hong Kong WWE version.

If the staff decides to go by the book, then the answer is no. However, some staff members in HTC service centre are quite liberal, or may be quite unaware of what you have.
It may be my own imagination. I feel that 1.14XX Rom is faster than 1.19xx.
Would be real nice if someone is able to upload the stock 1.14X WWE ROM.

I had the same version (1.14.401.3 (22273) WWE) on mine before flashing a cooked one and fortunately I decided to dump it before.
So I have the 4 RAW files but I'm not yet sure how to properly rebuild an NBH.
I'll try today and keep you informed.
By the way, I also feel the 1.14 faster!

Thank god. Whatever you do, don't throw them away. I also had this ROM on my HD and forgot to make a dump of it. So when you are ready, please dump it here becuase this specific ROM can't be found anywhere.

Yes it works, but it hasn't radio rom.
I tested. It is 1.14.401.3 (22273) WWE 11/12/08 rom, CE OS 5.2.20757 (Build 20757.1.4.0).

this is a uk version and the one 1.14.401.3 is the wwe europe version

I tested this rom for the last month and works perfectly. But is very important to use radio version 1.11.25.01 and SPL 1.40. If you don't use this, rom crashes.

Browsing around, searching for a ship rom I found this thing:
ROM
It seems to be an HTC Ship ROM inside the archive. Installed it on my device without any Hard/USPL.
I think it will be good if someone mirrors it and puts it in the wiki for Different Blackstone Shipped ROMs.

If you flashed this rom, can you check and tell me:
- is the Interwrite included?
- what is exact rom version?
In my original rom I had "1.56.479.0 (43972) WWE" and more "Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Sys.CE 5.2.20769 (version 20769.1.4.5)".
If all is like above, I would have original rom, that would be nice

BTW what is "Interwrite"?

Interwrite is a prog that supposed to translate your Windows to some languages, which should be done by Microsoft in the first place. But they are too lazy so someone else does the job.

Yes ROM is exactly like my original one. Screw Interwrite, I can always say I got HD shipped without it, in english version only.

I dont make sure can we backup original ROM which can be use in cracked opal. But i know you can use SKTools to back up your current Phone settings. If you want back to previous rom, you can flash your current ROM and restore the settings.

Just a piece of advice...You can use SPB back up...i am not going to post the appplication over here coz its against the forum rules since its a warez...Well,forum rules remind me that e1 you need to read the Forum rules before u start something new...Otherwise i am always a threat over here!!!
