Here's my elegance theme design im working on, however im no modder just a designer so ill need help converting this concept into an actual flashable theme. When the theme is completely finished i will release the PSD for the theme so people can make alterations and tweaks.

The other icons are made similarly, although some have the drop shadow reversed upwards such as the browser
Thanks alot for everyones comments, ill spend time finishing the theme instead of trying to put it on the phone.
BTW im using Comfortaa font, though this may change

I was going to do multiple versions with different highlights, so blue, green, orange, red etc..

Yeah that would be great *.*
Because when you have a green highlighting colour in other theme like darkstar a very nice theme but if you go example on the dropdowns there is the orange colour and not every is green. I hate this Im a perfectionist
So when the first beta comes out ?

me too im a big fan of enoch, but then i also like SuperD black, so i decided to make one just for me that had different colours i can change between. Having to redo the theme, as i created it at the wrong resolution. Re-making for 320*480 now. Ill post more screenshots in abit
not quite sure how to do the icons, should they look similar to traditional icons and just be the shape of the app or all square?

please take the right icons so that every icon have a quad, and please post the psd of the quad so that the users can make there own icons

This is AWESOME!

If you can share the psd of this i can whip it up for my nexus then have someone port it to g1/mt3g. This looks stupendous, its almost exactly what i had in my head.

personally i'd stick with my own icon mix of 2.1 and icon packs, but i'm loving everything else, especially the notification bar and settings bar

Looks great! Can't wait to see it in action. One thing I noticed, even though it's a concept, the icon in the brightness setting on the setting widget is a bit off centered. I just wanted to point it out for you for the future.

[MOD]Aluminium weather "Strat-O-Sphere" project for Dali Sense

Imagine this : ....Surreal Sun made of shinny polished steel glows while moving across display,aluminium clouds and stars shows up brightening liquid metallic pond below,Moon glowing and rain made of titanium start falling blowing aluminium leaves across screen....massive freezing metallic snow starts to glow and fall through display....
Because of its complexity and lack of my knowledge, but needed for Salvadore Dali Aluminium suite,I decided to open thread in a first place for "Weather cheffs and modders" to see where I lack,and to make it much more perfect as it should to be.

When you deinstall,original weather will show up again.This is done little bit "fuzzy" to get liquid effect ( take a look on Sun rays and below Sun on first image attached here where back rays look like liquid metallic water.It is not static ! It is dynamic and flows when Sun moving accross.).On the other hand,I need help about Snow effect because I can't find manila file corresponding to little fluffy snowballs.

do you have any information/knowledge or ideas if and how i can control the animated graphicparts (sunrays, rain and so on)? my creations try to get to the point where i have only a complete static weather (later on also the weather tab which has no animated sunrays and so on)
it would be really helpfull if you could share a bit of your knowledge about the weatherpart (in my case sense 2.5 (2016) WVGA)
i hope there is a possibility to do things like that without any CHT or such

I am still work on that idea for my Caleidoscope Sense UI.Theory is to use g sensor to control weather aplication..Sun rays,clouds and other elements become fluid as you move device..
I have stopped with developing by now, because I focused on Dali Caleidoscope,and it is a lot of learning yet,but when I collect files I do share here..so,stay tuned !

ah sad... so you know which files are responsible for the graphic/picture itself but not which will control the movement of these graphic(pieces). sigh
would be to easy to think that they just used some animated gifs... they dont use commands to have hardware acclerated animations i would say - otherwise it would be faster - and no typical pic formats like gif. so damnit how do they do it? a kind of pic where the pic movement itself is controlled via parameter or so i would think. but still i wonder about the sunrays... why does it take so much power and it looks still more like a full effect from something out of GL or Dx.... hmmm
if i would have a clue where to search. but all these manila files have just weird names and numbers and i dont know if there is existing a kind of known-manila-files-list floating around on the net... may be you know such?

manila files for weather are in QTC png format.I do not have files here right now, but it will be wise to post it here.
animation behavour is controlled by executive manila mode9 file which corresponds to behavour....Te PROBLEM is that this file is NOT THE SAME for all ROMs...I belive it can be changed.Iam looking what manila mode9 file is aimed for animated effect...It is not that complicated as it appears.
Manila mode9 file controlls behavour of static png animations and that can be changed.(if you have noticed only LEFT behavour movement of weather events are possible) but bigger problem is to make graphic fluid.Therefore,it is possible to ADD graphic manila files for very slight fine animation and do some manila9 programming.
That is what I do right now.
About weather graphics...Search function of this forum was allways helpfull to me.
there are a lot of them here on forum so it could be no problem to find it without searching device...Bigger and advanced task is to ADD additional files to weather events and to make them fluid...So,thats why I called it MAGNET-O-SPHERE Project...Quite a task.but it will be looks smashing on my Caleidoscope.

Weather module is not avaluable as separate download any more because it is now incorporated into Dali Sense theme.

You have done a soft reset after installing the cab file? Otherwise search for the screens on your phone and compare with the once from here.

How it is with the pin number input skin? The first window after restart the phone. I know it is a dll file. Possible we can do things together.

The WM theme is not made by me, the dotted check boxes aren't my work. This means that you are now modifying the original GTX look. I don't care about that, because it's been done earlier (GTX 1.8.5 contains some different graphics than the original GTX)
But still, it's a bit awkward that certain attributes from other people are now replacing GTX.

that's the reason of the [MOD] in Title
and i harmonized the "official" gtx wm theme from gtx member fr3sh_t0_d3f and the gtx sense theme.
so i did'n start modding of gtx theme,fr3sh_to_d3f already did it in his WM theme.

You have to know people will mod GTX, its a great theme its going to be done. You modded the graphics of the original sense which htc never said anything about. Im not complaining or nor am i *****ing, you did a tremendous job on GTX but..you gave the project up.

Agree with you, Wez. EC gave em up. And this unified fusion theme is simply outstanding. As far as i can tell, bl4ckb1rd is the man, who came closest to the original work, while not being in the GTX team, so far OVER ALL other projects here in XDA. LOOKS VERY ORIGINAL (yet handsomely being improvised!).
In a peer-to-peer community where everyone is contributing towards an open source project, there would not be a clear distinctive guideline as to where the authenticity of the theme should be. Unless the developer team actually made an effort to apply copyright on it - can be done via CC (Creative Commons). And state clearly that should anyone wanted to contribute to the project, for least are required to use the templated provided. But sadly no one seem to have the time.
Moreover, the project only applies on WM theme, where as there are still so many opportunities of other projects (applications) are not being skinned. Thus, widen up the grey area where other 3rd party developer are chipping in to the GTX project, with NO definitive guideline, and claiming the FINAL skin as being "GTX". Some skins came out are good, others (mostly) are bad, handful are even better than original. But at the end of the day, people still knows kamill and el are founder dev team.
EC: If you want to draw rules, GO PUBLIC, GO CC. Start the trend in XDA.
bl4ckb1rd: You did your best trying to use all templates to good use. When there are no related materials, you came up with your own --> and it looks as good there ever can be. Props.

Contact the official GTX Team, and maybe this will be icluded with the official GTX

Thanks guys! I've updated it to fit in with the rest of Sense a bit better, thanks to some guys that posted in simplicity ROM thread.
I quoted the old one here just in case anyone wanted to compare..

The new ones are definitely a better fit. Might even be OK to go a little bit darker, or have the shading split in the middle like on your Simplicity 6.5.x bottom bar.

Definitely an improvement !
I also agree with FL5 to the point that I think it'd be worthwile to compare those adjustments! (split shade + a tiny bit darker still)

Just experimented a bit:

It is really very successful (first and second version)! Bravo!
Just a small remark: you should maybe re-size the symbols of switches in the same size as those of the announcements.

Looks good, can you tell me where I can get that Black tab for the slider that you have in you're screenshot.

And now the report after CHT v2.0 is out. It was not possible to post before cookie and the team has started the new threads.
What i can say is that you graphic looks amazing in CHT v2.0. Really a very fine work. What do you think to start a whole icon series based on your new idea. If yes, i will support you so far as i can. What we need is mostly simple white and graytone icons. Come on guys, that will be fun and cool.

This series should be continued with the release of CHT 2.0!

Thank you I've been really busy lately but I plan on updating this for CHT2.0 .. Also adding blue icons as an alternative.

I screwed around a little bit with your toggles and made versions that use the AT&T blue as the activation indicator.
Two versions: One is darker blue when deactivated, the other is grey.
Wasn't gonna post these anywhere else, cuz they're hacked up versions of your stuff, and I'd really just made them for my own use. Lemme know if you don't want them here and I'll yank 'em from this post.
Was thinking about maybe making the bars a little bit smaller and move them up from the edges, to give a little bit of black border around them. We'll see if I ever get around to that...
Note: These are just the toggles. The non-toggle CHT buttons aren't in here, as there was nothing blue to add to them.
Note: The grey version has the "g" in the name. Other version is totally blue.

@FL5:
they locking good to me. The blue line gives a little bit rest. My favor are the green one. I don't know why, possible is this something about the old xbox .
BTW:
i have made some icons at a startup for the simplicity icons.
All are working under CHT Suite v2.0.x.x beta and final.
What you all are thinking about it?

Any plans of making State icons similar to your simplicity quick links. These quick links are amazing.

Excellent Mike and thanks in advance.
Now I also have a small problem. It's to do with the alignment of the graphics on the quicklinks. In the attached screenshot see the data link. The graphic seems to be misaligned.
Another small piece of feedback. The icons in the quicklinks can be made slightly bigger. There is a lot of area left empty.
