This suit is based on HTC applications skinned to glossy vista look and includes:
- home (icons, clock, background)
- Commmanager
- Action screen
- Dialer
- Calculator
- Windows media player
- Audio manager
- Cube
- Today theme
- Slither SCLPC++ Cube (4th menu)
- PocketCM contacts

Update 3/9/08
- Updated the Audio manager to the latest version V.121017717
- Fixed the calculator display, now you can see the numbers as clear as it can be.
- Added the Wifi button, if you have wifi hardware button you need to turn the switch on in order for it to work.
- Added Slither's SCLPC++ Cube Skin (if you want the cube with 4th menu, I suggest you use this one)
- Added PocketCM skin with the help of DvTonder
- Fixed the windows media player seekthumb (scrolling button that was flickering in landscape mode)
- Added the folder contains all the graphics for whom that has HTC applications built in their ROM. Backup you original files from \windows folder before you overwrite them with my files.

You should definitely give it a go. It is one of the best looking concepts for the cube I have seen.

HTC's black-panel-like though looks fantastic, the incongruity with WM6's crystaline visual effect exits. By contrast, this Vista-style will defenitely match WM6 and leave rooms for more talented to develop more gorgeous skins without gettng odd with shipped design^^

and as for you Eivind84, i owned an iphone and i don't anymore if that tells you anything... I refuse to get into a lame discussion about the iphone but since virtually everyone likes the iphone themes in some fashion you are in the minority so just don't use it, lol, it really is just that easy.

Just change the backround so the people who hate the iPhone can stop B****ing about it. I like the fish but its a bit overused. Good theme though! Keep it up!

Was there really any reason to respond to this post in this way? I can see you are new to this forum so I will simply advise you to read the rules pertaining to conduct and behavior. If he wants to spend HIS time and create a theme then he has every right to do so, if you dont like it then dont use it! Its that simple, there was no need for either of the comments you posted! Please make an effort to be more kind while you spend your time here!

thanks for all the kind words you guys. I think I have it almost complete. now I am doing what my teacher told me what the most tedious part making it for all resolutions. I have 480x800 and 800x480 completed. Should be pretty easy to get the rest, just a bunch of copy and paste haha. Look for this soon. As I prefer S2U2 over the 6.5 lockscreen anyway, I decided to do some skinning for it. Here's the first version of Livven GTX S2U2.

First go to S2U2 Settings > Theme > Save Theme to export your current theme, so you can revert to it (just in case). Then download the CAB appropriate for your resolution and install it. Then start the S2U2 settings app, and tap on Save, without changing anything. Now S2U2 is restarted and fits with the excellent GTX theme.
Note: The notification icons are not skinned yet, but I took the ones from the tPro skin. This will be addressed in the next update.
You are not allowed to modify any graphics or other resources that come with this, nor are you allowed to distribute (upload) it anywhere else. Instead, always link to this thread. If you want to cook this into your ROM, you have to ask for explicit permission by posting in this thread and providing a link to your ROM. Thanks.

Sadly, it's not possible to change the color of any text in S2U2, though I'll ask A_C to add this feature in the future. At least it's readable with the drop shadow...

So beautiful! I think that i`ll check for call and text more often from now on.
And... a big thank you!

Might i suggest changing the icons to match gtx rather than fancy colorful icons use gray ones or white with a shadowed background. I had found a great icon pack before that looks great but is still unique called token (google it) and they have both light and dark versions. I think it looked best if you converted them to white and used a shadow, but my opinion.
Again it is just a suggestion, i think it is a little weird to do a gtx styled theme and then toss in colorful icons that don't really match...not that they don't look good.
edit: sorry, i was dumb and didn't read the end of your post where you mentioned you would address this next release.

If there was a good QVGA GTX WM6.5.x theme, I would use the whole set. I guess I'm stuck with using a WP7 & GTX hybrid.
The lock seems to go past the parameters by say 2 pixels (I can do a mockup if you don't understand). The S2P controls are not skinned either (unless it's just in tPro style).

Just finished work on a my TouchPal Skin. Loved the program TouchPal but hated the skin, almost stopped using it but had a look at the files and they looked easy enough to modify. This is the resulting effort, not bad for a first time skinning attempt I reckon!

p.s. if you havn't tried out TouchPal yet give it a go, its a paid application but is free to try (although dirt cheap at just over $10) and it wipes the floor with the HTC keyboard. Only thing it's missing is haptic, due in the next release.

He is the grand father of all GTX things. Or contact Dark Ninja or one ot the GTX team members, the new owners of GTX, for help.
With that the keyboard look likes more as a normal one . Good job in my eyes. And then more GTX, it is only an personally idea from me. You have more fans then ever, i hope .

Your skin is very nice, looks fantastic! There are never too many skins for TouchPal and you are right if people give the keyboard a try they will see there is no comparison at all! CooTek is making it better with each release and version 5 is just around the corner. Thanks for sharing your work, cheers...

You guys are just having a "misunderstanding", Mike likes the skin he just wants a GTX skin if possible and Mega Maniac I think you can do it if you are interested. Mike is a great guy and contributes greatly to XDA he was just asking a question, making a request.

Sure, I've had a closer look at the files. The font files are from my WP7 skin (it's Zegoe UI and "AR PL New Sung" for the chinese chars) and most of the other are a mod of my EzInput skin.
I'm the only one who had replaced the whole charmap of TP4 and that was really hard and a lot of work. For all who didn't believe me, I have the resource files. And if you have a closer look to the buttons, some of them are only resized in width and they are not crystal clear skinned.

What is when you both work togehter in this case. GTX needs everyone to push it. And all the work for the crazy theme.

I have sent a pm to lycox with my sincerest apologies, guna have to pit it as a newbe mistake. I had lycoxs wm7 skin on my phone it didn't even occur to me they may be his fonts. The buttons I did do myself but I wouldn't want to take any credit for lycox's work. I will chat to him about a gtx skin, was gonna have a crack at it tonight, will make sure I'm asking anyone who's work I use as reference this time

I have been inspired with dozen of posts searching for black GTX so I decide to make skin by my own,just to see what happens when you turn white into black....and perhaps someone could like it or use it..Every single file (355 files so far) has been altered to its negative in Corel one by one individually and accurately turned into its own negative component...Because there is a lot of job to do yet (some hard coding about colors and fonts inside manila9 files,changing icons and slider )..Full colorfull weather images comes from original ROM but they are altered also to enhance graphic contrast of all interface.
DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS :
AS A FIRST DISSABLE SENSE UI AND SOFT RESET AFTER EVERY INSTALLATION
1. Install Mamba GTX skin
2. Install CHT Editor ( If you wish)
3. Install Cookie Hometab ( if you wish )
4. Install GTX 6.5 Mamba Theme.cab, player,slider, weather and clock from attachment
5. Install Mamba Hotfix
Reset device and start SenseUI.That is all !

It could be done in any colour.But,I need specific colour RGB code for skinning ( blue colour has a lot of subvariations )
all images has to be altered ONLY in specific colour code for persistance of theme.So far, I have seen enough posts who asked for black negative version,so I am working daily on it now..Perhaps some new colour packages of this theme will be prepared in nearby future..

To get my permission (and to use the name GTX) you should enhance the theme far more. If people see it and know it is GTX inspired, they'll think GTX looks like this. To be honest, this doesn't look very good.

I really love a Black GTX theme.
But your current theme still needs a lot of work, like proper font color and proper color modifications.

Thank you for taking your time to see BEGINNING STEPS but this is only WORKING VERSION and not for distribution.It needs to be polished MUCH MUCH further. I AM CONTINUING one by one file,and this version now in my phone is much much better ...
Progress work will be announced as development steps continuos...
I am doing right now rendering and shadowing elements with specifications named in GTX HOME THREAD (carefull with rounding corners! )
also I separate manila9 files to do some coding of colours and font elements. etc.etc.etc....
but this is early beginning phase because I work alone, so EVERY KIND OF HELP will be generous !

I think instead of inverting the colors, just make a darker version.. Use a darker color to replace most of the graphics i guess? Right now its not very pleasent because most of the ridges and strokes of the images show up pixelated. When i seen that it would be an inverted version i thought it would maybe be inverting both the grey and white. So all the grey in the original theme would become white and the white grey (if you get what am saying, not including the bg). I think that would probably be a better concept.. But as you wish.
Its great to see this concept running, just needs tuning.

I know such people, and have some such friends.Design snobs expect everything finished and polished.Developing phase to them is totaly irellevant.About Bauhaus movement is everything on internet ( and I am pritty in it also),and I am shure that I would not named it, if it was not be that style.Every theoretical discussion is irelevant to me.I need some PRACTISE discussion !
So,for conclusion, I need now "design snob" for coding,not for theory.If you suggest some hands on design or something similar,it will be very,very welcome,but theory,I do not need it.Thank you for dropping by here,and I expect you to drop by only when I finish it.

Everything is just inverted here on preview for now.Nothing more.But accordingly to GTX Specs,I am doing fine polishing as you menteoned in your post,and it will looks like your origin GTX only inverted.So,I named thread as it is now because it will look like that on the end.Not to worry.You will be first person to see result before any decission or distribution.When it finished,decision will be on respected GTX team.
The most problem is that until now,no one offers some practicle and constructive help ( coding manila9 files for example ) so I am alone on "all fronts" of project,but I dont want to hurry up,to avoid unneccesery mistakes..
