I tried some of the 2.1 roms from the devs and a lot of them had a mic button in the bottom left of the keyboard. I loved this feature. I have looked across the app store and breezed over the forum but haven't found a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Search the forum for HTC IME .25 there will be an apk for it somewhere I would post it, but I am on my phone.

Many thanks, man! To anyone else that wants this feature, the lo res option is the one you want and Clicker.apk is not necessary. I would post the link but this is my first post. Follow the instructions from there.

I had the places app on my home screen yesterday and now it somehow says when I open it, that I don't have that app installed. The icon is still there, looks like a place holder icon. So, how do I get it back?

I don't want to sound condescending, but you shouldn't start a new thread for this kind of question. Instead, post it in the KaosFroyo thread. Also make sure to search before you post anything.

Sorry, at most forums I visit, creating a new thread would be the best way to get an answer instead of adding it to an existing thread. I guess this place is different. I'll remember that next time =]
Also, I did a search, came up empty. I'm not new to the internet.... I search then ask. That's why I posted here. Thanks.

Hey Guys,
Just curious if anyone has pushed the froyo youtube.apk to their fascinate, and, if so, could I grab the apk?
I saw in the "Post your homescreen" thread that it was mentioned in reference to the screenshot spotmark uploaded (see post here), but have only seen links to the apk in the Evo and Nexus forums. Searched both google and xda too and found nothing. Am I just not seeing it?
Thanks ahead of time!
I linked to it on fascinate forums. Go to fascinateforums dot com and search for youtube froyo.

Thanks! Will try it out.
There is a modified froyo youtube apk floating around somewhere on xda. Should be pretty easy to find with a search.

Swype is not to be distributed through out XDA. You may still be able to sign up through their beta at their website.
Register to beta.swype.com and there U can get an .apk

^^^ This...
Distribution of any Swype installer files is not allowed on xda.
Swype beta IS open again so just sign up and register, you will get link to swype and installer. For a while it was closed but it has been open again for a long time.
What about the new sense 3.0 swype? Would be great if someone could extract it for us, is it warez?
I honestly dont think it shold be.... Ive had the mytouch 4g and the Samsung vibrant and when we download a custom rom it has swype in it, so why shouldnt the HD2 rooms have them?? im assuming devices with preloaded swype keyboards get to have swype in custom roms but the HD2 comes preloaded with swype aswell, sure its not android and its on windows but thats one of the flaws we get when we flash android to our devices and I miss swype, its acually the only thing i like on windows over android
Devs are allowed to install warez as part of their ROM. But no one is allowed to post installer files for Swype as this will be considered warez. If you want it, sign up for the beta.
just wish i could the new swype themed and work, but i got to be missing something as i can install it but fc's when going to use it,,,
I found an apk in the market called SlideIT, it's and do an awesome job for me in my GBX. i know how hard it isto go backto no-swype so I highly recommend it. Good luck.

Another one you can try which I think is as good, if not better than, Swype is do a search on XDA and find Ultra Keyboard. Very similar to Swype and SlideIt.

Thanks for the response, but HTC Trace is not a security program. It is the stock keyboard for the HTC Sensation. It is the HTC keyboard but with "swype" capabilties.. Pretty much it is like having swype on the stock HTC kb..
Try Flex T9 (V1.0.0). It has T9, trace, voice-to-text and even handwriting recognition.
Versions above 1.0 haven't worked right for me though.
Yeah using the Flex right now. Works great. Also have several verisons of Swype. I was just curious with the GB and 3.0 hybris going on if somone was able to find the HTC Trace to see if it would work with the TB. Pretty much I am a flash addict with keyboards and ROM's and was curious how HTC Trace matched up to Swype and Flex. Right now Flex is my favorite.

Yeah, it was buggier than the market version as well but that's why it was taken down from the thread that had .apks from the sensation dump.. because it's a paid app
Well if it is Flex then that would explain the similarity in the appearance. Thanks to all of you for the replies. Anyone know if the sensation system dump was out there yet? Sorry at work and didn't have time to search through the forum right now?
EDIT: NVM just saw the last response ..
