hi all, I have HTC Mogul with 6.5.X ROM 23569 - No Carrier.
can someone do .cab with the waiting cursor + button Start (down)? it is
very necessary.
all icons I have.
Any screen shots? Not sure what you are trying to communicate. I have the a Titan/Mogul Verizon and use PPCKitchen and am using that version of Windows with no problems. You need to have a carrier installed in order to work.
you not understood me, WM work correctle, it's ok, but I want to change waiting cursor and icon START down, but I can't do this. which one screenshort's do you mean?
Sorry I miss-understood. Here is a few links for the start icon.

Not sure if this is the root cause of the disappearing/dimming x/ok button when running the htc blackstone roms but I have the generic x1a rom on mine and I added some of the cabs...one of them being the Touch IT Blackstone Large Title Bar cab, noticed the x/ok would disappear. Uninstalled it and that problem disappeared. Maybe while cookin the rom it is possible to use the default x1 title bar. One other thing I figured out, for those who want the blackstone keyboard as default, you can use sipchange to set it as your default and there it will stay.Just some random fiddling with this device.

Curiously enough, I observed the same "x" dim effect after installing "sdkcerts" cab only
Anyone knows how to fix the Home button bug when cooking BlackStone ROM with Rhodium manila OEM packages ? The Home button actually works but instead of taking the user to the Home screen it takes to the previous state in Manila. I have seen this has been reported in various custom ROM threads and I've seen some chefs fixing this problem, however I did not find anyone sharing a solution to this bug yet. I bet it's gonna be some RGU setting I missed.. Anyone having experience with this ?
S.
RESOLVED: Install the following cab from here
All credits to Hankv2
I doubt it is a reg setting alone. It is most likely a value which has to be edited from one the of the manila files as the hardware buttons are different on the rhodium. I'm trying to fix the the gsensor on/off in settings tab. The problem is the value coming from manila is it report the value of 1 for on which is correct, but reports a 2 for off which should be a 0. I don't know which manila file to edit.

Thanks Onkolog I will look in to these.
Great!
I have a problem with the GSensor as well! Davide advised to switch back to original BlackStone OEM package, but that did not help at all. When launching the GSensor calibration, the waterlevel bars are frozen. Anyways, if you find a solution to that or to my Home HW button mentioned above, please share
Regards,
Sasovics
And yes, I agree with you bobsbbq, the Topaz/Rhodium manila behaves different as the Hardware Buttons are different as well. From the attached screenshot you can see that on the Topaz device, the End key is the Home key as well! And if you cook in Topaz's manila into BlackStone ROM, it behaves the same way. While on call the end key will end the call, but on every other situation it behaves as the Home key on my BlackStone. So what we have to find is a way to redefine in manila to bring up the Home screen when the actual Blackstone's Home key (instead of the End key) is pressed

And IMHO it's much better like that...
The consequece is that in Touch HD we will have one button more which could be redirected to something else
So, instead of forcing the home button to become the "Home" button, why not forcing it to something else as the End button is already redirecting to "Home" screen.

hi, i just installed L26 V9 and the home button works for me in all but calendar, music and settings, it works with my installed apps too. the end key does it when the home button doesn't.

Does that mean that mean, if you press the HW Home button, will it take you to the Manila Home screen and not just to the previous visible manila page ?
Pls try this example: Go to "Photos and Videos" tab, and tap on any picture to see it in a slideshow, then press the HW Home button. If it takes you back to the Manila Homescreen wiht the clock and not back to the "Photos and Videos" tab instead, then our friend Laurentius found a solution to this
For me it's wrong manila setting.......
If youu disable manilla from today ,home and back key work perfectly
with original biotouch.dll
Rhodium manila package home and back key are inverted
Topaz Manila Package home and key are "ok/close (back) function"
other informations:
with Biotouch.dll from topaz change the hardware Key configuration, but on Hd dont work correctly
Yes, I did the same! I cooked in the Topaz Manila Package along with the Topaz TouchFLO3D package and my hardware buttons weren't working at all. Replacing the biotouch.dll with the one from BlackStone's OEM fixed this problem except the mentioned HW Home button bug. I agree it must be either manila's setting or the biotouch.dll itself. But my bet is, it's the manila! Since the HW buttons behaves different on Topaz and Rhodium manila. And if it is indeed manila, the remaining question is, which if the many hundreds of manila files to edit ???
hi, today i'm wondering, if i was launching my apps from homescreen/start menu. when hitting the home button would this then take me back to homescreen ? if i launch apps from anywhere/start, then hit home button, i go back to anywhere. the home button is not functioning properly.

Really!! Well what do you think this tread its about? Reread the title again.
In the Rhodium ROM, if the back key is the home key and vice versa. CanĀ“t this be fixed quite easily?

Great work my friend, Which files was it in? Out of curiosity? I have not had time to work on the GSensor been too busy. Did you look into this one?
hi!
someone knows a way to disable the transparent curtain which activates when you start a call? (the one that covers the keys - type loudspeaker, microphone, etc ... - that they can't be pressed accidentally)
I knew a cab by Shaks for TF3D but this doesn't work with the TF3D2
can't disable it via the windows registry?
Which actual phone do you have? What mods are you using? (if any?)
i've a diamond and windows mobile 6.1 with tf3d2 (rom Gen.Y D2 R1.25 ITA)
Have had a look through the Tachi Dialer post, have a look at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Phone\Cover
There may be something in there to disable it. You're looking for "PhoneLockEnable". Or even try adding it.
It appears in the Rhodium Thread they have found a way to use HTC Volume Control on 6.5.x ROMs and get rid of that annoying default control. The fix doesnt seem to for the Blackstone however, anyone out there can figure this out?

solution for volume control problem
This one seems to work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=242804&d=1257180276
Tested on: Miri WM 6.5 21887 :: MANILA 2.5 :: REV 16.0
It gives back volume control via the buttons on the left-side of your Touch HD. However it doesn't make a distinction between system and phone volume. In either way you have your (side) volume control back!
Just copy the .cab to your device and run it through file explorer.
Cheers!
The problem with all the volume control packages is that you can't change the incall volume anymore when you install them.

This volume slider cannot change the volume while during a call. And the volume icon sometimes do not change instantly if you use this control, so you don't know what is the sound mode right now.
Fix found
Hello there,
I'm not really used to post anything - so please be easy on me
Setvolume0.7.0 does not seems to work on my installation (T8282, Miri65_21887_v16), so that I successfully tried 'Touch-IT Blackstone volumecontrol.cab' from HD_CABs_for_X1.rar (pretty sure I cannot post it along, just surf the web for it).
Now up/down buttons works as regular volume/ringer controls on my device.
Hope to have been of help.

Did you try the operation of hardware buttons during the ongoing call? Are they working normally during the call?
downloaded and installed "Touch-IT Blackstone volumecontrol.cab" from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154
Works great actually. Only problem is that the volume icon changed to a white one and not the one I had in my NRG-rom. Small price for a working volume.

I once saw a thread here, and I think it used the windows mobile slide to answer and slide to ignore.
The answer slider was green
The ignore slider was red, and u slide it horizontally.
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
I find X2 dialer way too laggy (I am using stock X2), and hard to find contacts. Even the the default WM skin is faster and better.
Anyway, it was a cab file that enabled that skin, and it also changed the keypad a bit better than WM dialer.
Thanks!

It's not from WM built-in but HTC. Search for blackstone, Topaz, or Rhodium dialer.

I just heard from someone that WM 6.5 has slide to answer, but hwo do I activate it?
To be honest, you cannot go wrong with this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154&highlight=dialer
I know you said there is a function in WM 6.5 which has the same thing...but I think this one is the best
The only thing I would love to see changed (and I know exists just can't find it), is the HTC dialer but when during a call has two buttons; a big button for key pad and a big button for end call...but still it's all good and am happy with this one
