I cannot find the option to turn on the feature, that the name of the caller is displayed, when it is in the phonebook. Right now, only the international number is shown whe somebody calls. What do I have to configure? Thx.

WM5 onwards it is already there.
You have to feed the number for each contact as +<country code><areacode><Number>. For example +919896312345

I am looking for a solution to quickly change if I want my caller id to be shown on outgoing calls.
I know there is the gsm command #31# but this doesn't work with international numbers nad sometimes even not with local numbers.
I know there is a setting in "settings" but this is quite a hassle always going through several pages of settings.
My anycut doesn'T work on Android 1.6 anymore.
So anyone has an idea for a shortcut or a widget to show and not show the caller id on outgoing calls?

I am looking for a app or widget that will turn on or off my caller id.
I would perfer a app that would show my caller id only to my contacts but i dont know if that is possible.

Well I think caller ID is on the provider side of things. I guess you could dial *67 before every number you dial that is not a contact to hide your caller ID. It's what I do with my work phone when I don't want people calling me back lol
I don't recall the names, but there are apps that allow you to pre/post pend to a dialed number before the call goes out. Some of them have a rich rule set also.
Tasker may be able to do it.
Under settings then Call Settings then All calls then "Show my number" you can select "send / Hide / By network"
A app that with one push i can toggle "Send" or "Hide" the caller id is what i am looking for.

does anybody know, how to force a call to be made via the configured SIP account?
I do not want to have it configured to "ask before each call" and I also do not have contacts with "internet call" numbers defined.
I just want to choose a contact or number and dial it through SIP instead of the default way via operator...
any experience / idea?

Is there a way to block Private number with the auto reject list?
There is an option for Unknown but not for Private number.
I'd rather not have to install an app just to do that that's why I'm asking if there is any way to do it with the built in reject list.
