Good Day.
I would like to make a list of different battery sellers/brands and your experience with them, then compile the information into the OP for easy viewing. I am doing this because I have had 2 bad experiences buying batteries on ebay from high rated sellers. It can also be difficult to determine what htc models have interchangeable batteries.
Known HTC Models with interchangeable batteries
CDMA TP2 ERIS OZONE HERO EVO IMAGIO SNAP DESIRE INCREDIBLE(DUH)
HTC Models non compatible batteries
N1 G1 FUZE OTHERS
Props(and ALL CREDIT) To Doug Simmons for his work testing batteries and making the results public domain. We need more people like you!
Please check out http://batteryboss.org
Mr. Simmons's VERY scientific testing of multiple batteries and brands show consistently overstated mah on many brands of batteries. Please see second post or above website.
XDA Member Jermaine151 has a thread about his experience with the OEM 2150 getting 3 days of runtime I think has great photo's and info.
XDA Member DrPheta has some good information for identifying FAKE OEM BATTERIES.

I have had nothing but trouble with no name batteries, and I have not seen one capacity test to support getting more than 1500mah from this form factor. even the 1500 makes it more difficult to close back cover. I'd be curious to know what the battery weighs.
I bought HTC 1500 from amazon marketplace for $9..Amazon has me fully covered. Could not be happier.

I Got the seido 1750mah, very high quality. was a little afraid to go with a no name company.
I got the Seidio 3500, even if it's only 80-90% of the advertised, it's still the highest actual mAh on the market and I can get a full day with Wi-Fi tethering, GPS, and downloading and flashing the latest CyanogenMod nightly over Verizon 3G (DROID Incredible).

+1. I have the Seidio 3500mAh and it is a hoss! I have no problem getting through an entire day with heavy use. It doesn't detract from the looks of my Incredible either. In fact, the included battery door makes it fit in my hand better and protects the camera lens.
I get better performance out of my HTC 1500 then my Seidio 1750. The HTC is thicker and heavier then the Seidio. I paid $17.99 shipped for the HTC and something like $40.00 for the Seidio.
I just purchased an HTC 2150 which included an OEM backing for $39.99. Couldn't be happier with it.
I think with what I've learned, going OEM is the only way.
I agree. The seidio 1750 is crap

I'm really liking the HTC 1500 battery (same one that comes with the evo). Right now I'm sitting at 15% remaining after 13 hours 20 minutes of uptime and 4 hours 40 minutes of awake time. Thats without bump charging it either. Score one for the oem.

I use the HTC 2150 and I love it. One charge lasts all day with HEAVY use.

I was playing on eBay for new accessories... I'm sure this one is fake (well, as they never live up to their promises), but as I haven't seen it posted on this forum, I thought I'd throw it up for debate
It was the high price - £99 - that made me curios enough to start a thread. That's a lot of money for a fake(?) item.

i would never buy this battery for 99 pounds
the battery has 4G technology...oh great...i will finally be able to use 4G !! i am getting this for sure !
Gold batteries have ben mentioned before, these are fake in terms of quoted capacity.
They are not from Japan, they are poor quality chinese cells in a posh gold wrapper.
Only good brands are: Momax, Andida & Mugen ...
Only good point is £99 is a cheap price to teach any buyer they are a muppet ...

Just Noticed that Mugen HD2 Battery has been bumped to 1500mAh from 1300mAh.
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...585-1500mah-extended-replacement-battery.html
It costs almost double ($40) than original ($20). I'm willing to spend more amount if it delivers the promised extra juice? Has anybody tried this version yet
Extended battery.. :x
I'm planning to order one when they're back in stock, actually. But I'd say two things really matter:
1) It's same size as the stock battery so no new back cover required (which Mugen would include if you ordered one and it was needed) and yet it offers more capacity, and...
2) It's a Mugen battery.
#1 is relatively important but #2 is the selling point above and beyond anything else. If you haven't figured that out yet, I don't know what to tell you.

Yes I saw that, they saw extended, but they mention no battery cover required so it would be of standard size..
Didn't notice it was out of stock...however its expected to come back on 20th this month..
Let us know your results if you get it..
Thanks
Can't wait to hear good results

This looks great. Android has been sucking my battery dry, and I'd love to get an extended battery. However, the site looks a little suspicious with the extra long name, hyphens and amateurish web design. Is this really Mugen's corporate website?

Thanks, man. I didn't think of checking whois. I guess I was looking for someone who had already bought a few batteries from the site before I spent my hard earned lucre on an iffy looking website.
Actually, though, it seems hard to find a verifiable Mugen site. Anybody know of one? Or any kind of American site for Mugen batteries?

This one says Authorized Mugen Power Battery Distributor on the top...while the one I posted says Welcome to Mugen Power Webshop!
I think the one you posted is just a reseller, however I am not sure. The whois information posted by exbros sure does seem legit, but is there anything can say for sure if its real ?
Also, the 1300mah and 1500mah have the same model number ie. HLI-T8585SL which seems hard to believe

I have emailed both & had no response from either. whois info is useless in terms of judging legitimacy. For the money one would be fronting to purchase one of these I would want total transparency on product details & manufacturer. Total brand damaging marketing mess, hope they are more clued up on battery technology & manufacture !

I found the website http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/ is indeed the legit one.
If you look at Wikipedia page for Mugen Power, it does mention that as its worldwide website. Also website Mugen.us (the US homepage for MP) also redirects to this website, as well as if you search Mugen Power on google, the first link comes as this one only.
I don't think any website selling fakes would all of these..

If you look at the link posted by Mister B, all mugen batteries are actualy 70-80% of their advertised capacity. So, don't buy them!
I think genuine or non genuine mugen is of little difference after seeing this test data & Mugens response to testing & its labeling of mAh ratings.
Wikipedia is public edited information so credibility is not always the best ...
This companies e-commerce marketing is awful & for the price they charge I would not bother.
Test data & Mugens response can be found at:

Any information about Lenmar batteries? Its standard capacity 1230mAh HD2 battery is selling for around 15-20$..is it a good buy than other cheap OEMs?

Yes shame about Mugen.
If Lenmar is available to you easily it is probably worth getting as should imagine quality is as good or close to original cell.

The thing that bothers me is that Mugen is actively promoting its brand, especially via twitter. See http://twitter.com/#!/MugenPowerShop and http://twitter.com/#!/MugenBatteries. Well, I hope that they will send me a sample of their much touted 2600mAh for review... then we will see whether their batteries live up to their marketing
I am getting an official review unit from Mugen. You can read more about the updates from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1380493. Thanks.
Hi, i like to buy a new batery for replace when my is over. I look at ebay but i think some are "fake". if someone has already bought one that works well can you tell me?
Thanks
I have heard that best way to avoid "fake" is to neglect ebay or amazon and to scout for branded batteries - anker, mugen, seidio. I use mugen and advise you too, they may seem costy but they are actually twice cheaper. Not only the batteries last longer during the day, but also in general they last longer in terms of life cycle of the battery. Usually batteries have maximum 100 recharges and then start to day (like one year of use), while branded aftermarket batteries like mugen for instance can be recharged 400 times. Do not do ebay..

And how mutch you pay for?
I bought a golden battery on ebay ( 2430mha and same size as stock ).
I cannot see any improvement since it lasts as long as the original one ( 1300mha ).
Simply buy an Andida which costs about $8 shipped WorldWide from Obbostore or available from some online store & local mobile shops.
Gold batteries are complete fake junk & Mugen over priced ...
We have over 20 HD2 devices issued to staff & in their 3rd year of use, we issued Andida as spares & have had no issues with them to date, had issues with Momax & local no name brands ...
In no way am I saying Andida is superb but performance seems close/same to standard & at Hong Kong direct price we would be mad to pay HTC genuine prices with no real benefit ...

Zerolemon do not do a battery for HD2.
Andida & the generic battery for HD2 are ok for price of say 5 to 7 USD & worldwide availability is a plus too.
Better more expensive option is a genuine or mugen if still available ...

So, after ~two weeks
Can''t see any real difference between originals old htc batteries and newer Andida.
My daughter stil needs everyday charging (3g, snapchat, always online,...)
Me, less heavy usage, from 1~2 days, now 2~3 days ok
Andida are ok for cheap price of around $5 like at vegacom & seem last ok (have some just over year old & still work ok)
Capacity is actually about 1130 to 1200mah which will be better than any very old well used original cell & very close to original standard capacity, main downside is no working temp sensors & a fixed resistor to fake a 25degC temp output :-S

Hey,, I have seen your zerolemon battery for all HD2 from amazon.com. it look's not bad but i think it needed updated...
I know a lot of people are anticipating extended batteries for the G4, and although we have a mophie, it's expensive and it's just a charging case. I contacted Zerolemon, and they said that due to the work going into the Note Edge battery, the G4 is being placed in late August for release. If anyone finds or knows of a good extended battery or battery case please leave a comment because I know several people who would want them. Here is a copy and paste of the message.
"Thanks for your interest. We have a plan of Note edge battery case on progress at present. We are trying hard to put it online at the end of August. Pl ease keep an eye on our official website and FB page to get the newest information."
Hyperion should have an extended battery coming soon.
Sent from my LG-D851 using Tapatalk
Right now, Mophie has this battery case available but at a high cost. Hyperion lists this 6000mAh model on Amazon, however the images are for the G3 and the Hyperion website lists no such G4 model so please don't buy it as there's a good chance its a fake or something. It's I'd personally rather wait for either proof that Hyperion listing is real, or the signature ZeroLemon battery. On the G4, the life on either one should be absolutely stellar!

The Amazon listing is real it is Hyperion who is the seller right now they are doing preorders . Mophie did the same thing and I sent the case back for a replacement.after testing it only have my 25% extra battery. Called them and they replacing it once they get my old one back. So by Monday I should have new one. Major flaw of case is it is very slippery. Will actually have to add some kind of grip tape so it has a little traction.
BAD ASS NOTE 4
I emailed Anker to enquire on when they might be releasing an extended battery, I also asked about two other products. Here's my email, and their reply:
I have recently bought an LG G4, and I know it's a newly released device, so accessories are limited. I do really like the products I've bought from you in the past, and I was wondering if there has been a decision on whether you will make the following products, and if so, do you have a rough timescale as to when they might be available to purchase.
1. Extended battery for LG G4
2. QI wireless charging pad, that supports the Quick Charge 2.0 standard (I understand that this new standard has also only recently been released, and as far as I can tell, there are no products that exist yet, a gap in the market for you if you're quick!)
3. QI power bank, that at least charges devices wirelessly (ideally with quick charge 2.0 speeds) and that also charges wirelessly, but that would be a bonus feature rather than a necessity.
There are alternative products already available that match my 3rd product in the list, but to be honest I'm not convinced about the reliability of the product, and it'd be lovely to be able to purchase one from yourselves, as I know they are good products.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you!
Lawrence
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for contacting us and showing your support in Anker products.
Please be advised that the below information are from our product manager (the estimated time only though).
1. The Extended battery for LG G4 is expecting to be available at the end of July, 2015.
2. So far, we do not have a QI wireless charging pad that supports the Quick Charge 2.0 standard for LG G4 yet. I have informed our product manager. They will take that into their consideration.
3. Also, we do not have a QI power b a n k at the moment. I have also mentioned that to our product manager.
I believe that with your feedback and support we’ll go on to develop even more market leading products.
