diamond on virgin mobile how? - Touch Diamond CDMA

can some 1 point me in the rite direction or is it even possible to run htc diamond by alltel on virgin or boost mobile plz thanks

You cannot bring a Alltel (Verizon) device onto a Sprint network (Virgin/Boost).
Virgin does not allow non-Virgin device on their network, Sprint branded or not.
Boost Mobile can use Sprint devices. It's unsupported, but it's been done. Go to HoFo Boost CDMA forum to find out how.

Mobile Defense problem, phone idenfying it's self as GSM, not CDMA sprint.

I installed mobile defense to test it out before i got my EVO but it doesn't work on the vogue. I posted on their forums, http://support.mobiledefense.com/viewtopic.php?pid=5620#p5620 and chatted with a support staff and determed that it's the rom, not them.
I need to know if we can change how my vogue identifys it's self so that it tells mobile defense that it's a sprint CDMA device and not a t-mobile GSM device.
Here's what the support guy said.

I've spent quite a bit of time looking into this and digging through the logs. It appears that the issue is caused from your install. You have installed a ROM intended for a GSM phone on a CDMA device. For this reason, Android thinks your phone is a GSM device, but you do not have a SIM card like all other GSM phones and therefore, the application is unable to read the serial number off of your SIM card. You might be able to change some settings to let Android know your phone is actually a CDMA device, but at this point in time I couldn't provide any steps to accomplishing this.

CDMA Hero on Boost?

is this possible? Please dont say no jus because YOU dont know.
ive been to flash2boostmobile.com but im not sure if its a scam or not.
im getting ready to FINALLY buy a hero but im not sure if itll switch over.
Someone please help me.
Many,many thanks well in advance
I'm not for sure, but it doesn't look real to me. Usally stuff like that has more pages and stuff like that.
I don't believe this will work as Sprint uses CDMA and Boost (although owned by Sprint) uses iDEN. iDEN is basically a SIM version of CDMA but doesn't work with either. Boost does offer something that lets you use certain Boost branded phones on Sprint's network however.
For the select handsets operating on Sprint's CDMA network, I would assume yes to 3G. The iDEN network, from what I'm reading, is a different network so I have no idea on that one.
It can be done, just not likely a legal way to do so.

What Sprint phones will work on Boost, and how do I get ____ on Boost (part 2)
1.5 Is it possible to use other phones on Boost CDMA?
I've been thinking about the Boost thing to I know the only thing that would stop you is if sprint has some sort of subsidy code on these phones. I've had two unlocked gsm phones and the only from tmobile to at&t. I had to get the subsidy from tmo to get it to work on at&t then had to hack the phone to get the mms and internet to work. There is a guy on here that has successfully flashed his phone to metropcs so it is definitly possible. Only problem is that you would have to constantly fix your apn (depending on how often you change roms)
First, as others have stated, the comment about boost being iDen is only is not correct. Boost has iDen and CDMA. When I looked into it the only phones you couldn't put on Boost appeared to be the Android phones. I know there are other ways to do it but not sure if it is ok here to talk about that.
I am considering trying to get my Hero on Virgin Mobile though, the new Beyond Talk unlimited Data/txt/messaging plans for $25+ is just crazy.

I wouldn't trust them as their information is incorrect. Boost Mobile is not 4G, nor is any of their phones capable of running on 4G.
Plus their price is just ridiculous.
We do the same thing and we are the originators of it. we started with BoostBerry3G.com, then SilverSpoonCells.com and now we are doing it for 30 different websites and 49 stores across US.
If you wanted to get this done check out the original Sprint to Boost Mobile Flashers at SilverSpoonCells.com.
All Sprint Models with a Clean ESN/MEID are compatible except: HTC Hero, Samsung Moment, palm pre, palm pixi, and BlackBerry 8530 Curve 2
In very rare occurences some Samsung Instincts have showed up as Incompatible.
1st-- THERE IS NO FLASH FOR BOOST
2nd-- Boost has BOTH CDMA AND IDEN(nextel sim only)
3rd--the only Droid phone u can get on Boost is the one they sell
4th-- only SPRINT phones can be activated on Boost(search here and Howard Forums for a list)

1st -- you wouldn't be flashing anything to switch networks, thats a given (its not a ROM)
2nd-- you bringing up boost having cdma and iden a year later is pointless... this is definitely known already
3rd-- the only android phone you could "buy" from boost is the one they sell
4th-- heroC is a SPRINT phone, thus why this is in this particular forum, so did u not just contridict your 3rd point u made???

Droid on Boost

Can anyone tell me how to flash droid to boost mobile?
u cant two different freqeuncies
Boost is apart of Sprint
Sprint = CDMA
I am also trying to flash my droid to boost... I know they are both CDMA so this has to be possible...
Boost actually uses the "nex-tel" network, which uses sim cards. Nex-tel (boost) and sprint are not compatible, so it would make sense that you couldnt flash the droid to work on the boost network.
NO WAY
Not true! I sell Boost Mobile and any phone over $90 comes with their CDMA network! Which absolutely does NOT have a SIM card... 100% positive, sorry to question your knowledge, but the fact is you are wrong.
^ So have you ever seen a Droid on Sprint?
No OP you can't.
The Motorola I1 is on the Nextel network for Boost which is an Android device
Just to clarify boost is a cdma and iden network
Don't believe me read there website:

Just figured I would try and help

[Q] Can I use T-mobile HTC One w/ Wind or Mobilicity?

If I buy a T-mobile HTC One (which supports AWS 1700/2100) from the states, and unlock it - would I be able to use it with Wind/Mobilicity in Canada?
I think it just might, I was going through the specs on T-Mobile's website for the HTC One and it does claim to have WCDMA Band IV (AWS) which is what WIND runs on. Hopefully I can go down to the US sometime this month and pick one up, will confirm if it does or doesn't.

HTC One T mobile version on Wind?
Can anyone actually confirm (not just in theory) if the TMobile version of the HTC One works on Wind mobile? If it does I will buy one in the USA to use on Wind.
Thanks.
BD
I ran out to USA to buy one from a Craigslist user unaware of the fact that there is yet an unlock code for it.
If anyone has access to unlocking this phone I can tell you if it works on the Wind Mobile network right away. Psssh unlock pros, pm me for imei.

[HELP] Need help with getting AT&T LTE working on T-Mobile HTC One

I've got a fully unlocked T-Mobile HTC One and I'm trying to use AT&T with the phone. I popped in my AT&T sim card and it works great but I'm not seeing LTE. Not sure what the problem is because the phone is supposed to be able to run on AT&T's LTE network and I've got the correct APN settings as far as I know.
You have to have a lte data plan
And att prob needs phones imei to let you use their lte not sure on this but I know when I got my one coming from one x + lte didn't work out the box I had to call
