I'm not for sure, but it doesn't look real to me. Usally stuff like that has more pages and stuff like that.
I don't believe this will work as Sprint uses CDMA and Boost (although owned by Sprint) uses iDEN. iDEN is basically a SIM version of CDMA but doesn't work with either. Boost does offer something that lets you use certain Boost branded phones on Sprint's network however.
For the select handsets operating on Sprint's CDMA network, I would assume yes to 3G. The iDEN network, from what I'm reading, is a different network so I have no idea on that one.
It can be done, just not likely a legal way to do so.

1.5 Is it possible to use other phones on Boost CDMA?
I've been thinking about the Boost thing to I know the only thing that would stop you is if sprint has some sort of subsidy code on these phones. I've had two unlocked gsm phones and the only from tmobile to at&t. I had to get the subsidy from tmo to get it to work on at&t then had to hack the phone to get the mms and internet to work. There is a guy on here that has successfully flashed his phone to metropcs so it is definitly possible. Only problem is that you would have to constantly fix your apn (depending on how often you change roms)
First, as others have stated, the comment about boost being iDen is only is not correct. Boost has iDen and CDMA. When I looked into it the only phones you couldn't put on Boost appeared to be the Android phones. I know there are other ways to do it but not sure if it is ok here to talk about that.
I am considering trying to get my Hero on Virgin Mobile though, the new Beyond Talk unlimited Data/txt/messaging plans for $25+ is just crazy.

I wouldn't trust them as their information is incorrect. Boost Mobile is not 4G, nor is any of their phones capable of running on 4G.
Plus their price is just ridiculous.
We do the same thing and we are the originators of it. we started with BoostBerry3G.com, then SilverSpoonCells.com and now we are doing it for 30 different websites and 49 stores across US.

1st -- you wouldn't be flashing anything to switch networks, thats a given (its not a ROM)
2nd-- you bringing up boost having cdma and iden a year later is pointless... this is definitely known already
3rd-- the only android phone you could "buy" from boost is the one they sell

Is there a way to put my current phone service on a Verizon DROID 4? My phone has no SIM chip, the DROID does. Is there a way to do this? Please someone point me in the right direction, my current phone is so beat and I'd love to learn this but haven't heard anyone talk about this. WHy do some phones have SIM chips and others don't?

The SIM is there for LTE&GSM service, the Droid4 is an LTE&GSM enabled phone.
Verizon's network isn't GSM though, it is a CDMA phone, so they use the SIM slot for LTE only. You will need to update some CDMA settings, your best bet is to take your phone into a Verizon shop and have them set it up for you!

Not true. The CDMA settings are in the SIM cards too for 4G phones on Verizon. I switch my SIM card between different 4G phones I have and it knows who I am when making calls, texting, 3G and 4G.
But you right, you have to go to Verizon so they can provision a SIM card for your account. Its free and pretty simple to do. After that, no more ESN/MEID swaps!

Off the research so far,
Droid 4(XT894) is a CDMA Device whose ESN is attached/programmed to a verizon mobile number ... right ?
Within the US this device does not support/accomodate a GSM SIM card ... right ?
While outside US, Verizon number works on international roaming.
meaning Calls and text(does internaltional verizon data work too) work on this phone while travelling internationally just fine ... right ?
While travelling outside US, one could load a Local GSM SIM card and this will enable this phone to work like just any other GSM phone ... right ?
Here's where my question's lie ...
When a GSM SIM card is loaded outside US what happens to the pre-programmed Verizon Number which was working on roaming ?
Does the verizon number work alongside the international GSM SIM card ?
Do calls to the Verizon Roaming number and the local GSM SIM number both work together ?
If so ... can one use Verizon Roaming number for calls, and the local GSM SIM for internet data ? ... simultaneously ?
Will it be the same like a dual-sim phone where both numbers work simultaneously ?

Really all verizon uses is the sim card, I have pulled my sim card out and used it with my XT908, XT894, and XT907 without ever contacting verizon about the change, and call, text, LTE all work fine.
The XT894 can only be connected to either cdma or gms not both.
It will not work with other USA carriers
If using outside of the USA, gms will work but suggest installing the gms patch, for improved compatibility.
[PATCH][GUIDE] Patch to fully enable GSM on Verizon CDMA Android phones by Mentor.37
You will need to root, and install Safestrap, before installing the patch.

I still have a feeling that Verizon (i could be wrong, hence the question) programs these phones to work based on their ESN No. else why would people on ebay sell phones with 'CLEAN ESN' ... If a verizon CDMA SIM can work out of this phone why does one need a clean ESN, I thought clean ESN's are used to program CDMA mobile nos. through them !

ESN is old technology, and hasn't been used for some time.
What are ESN, MEID, and IMEI (device identifiers)?
Every device has a MEID and/or a IMEI which is used along with the sim.
Verizon will blacklist a device if it is reported stolen or you don't pay your bill.
Lots of people are using the Droid 4 outside of the USA, but only with GSM/3g
LTE only works with Verizon.
The Droid 4 will not work without a sim card, GSM nor LTE/CDMA.

I read somewhere that Droid 4 can be registered with other CDMA operators outside USA only with an ESN Number, hence my question ... if that is another way to program a device with a mobile number to run without a CDMA SIM.
With regard to LTE ... If any country has a LTE network running on a frequency(700 MHz) similar to that of Verizon, then may be this phone's LTE might work ?
Probably my original question would seem relevant to a ... GSM-SIM-SLOT-modded ... Motorola Photon Q LTE (XT897) ... as that is a device which works as a programmed phone and there is no SIM Card Slot for CDMA SIM either (or has it got one ?) !!!

The Droid 4 can be manually programmed via DFS CDMA Tool, but only through the stock boot process and ROM. You would have to adapt the process a bit for a foreign carrier, of course, and getting the needed info might be slightly harder.
After being manually programmed, and if Mobile Networks > Subscription Type is set to NV-only, it can be used just like an older 3g-only phone: data works, SMS/MMS works, etc. You DO need a SIM card installed in LP, though, or it constantly complains about the SIM missing and stock SMS won't send messages. Certain KK ROMS (SlimKat for instance) don't need a SIM card installed at all. Whether the SIM is old or new, active or not, etc shouldn't matter.
Assuming you get through all that, you'd also need a carrier who is willing to add your IMEI to the network to "activate" the phone. As far as I know, no Verizon-based MVNOs do this after the beginning of this year (PagePlus was probably the last, they finally stopped after Verizon started double-charging for each activation), but I'd imagine carriers outside of the US would have less of a problem with it. Again, getting the needed information to program by hand might be difficult, and the phone can't be automatically programmed OTA.
Best way I can think of to get said information would be to get a natively 3G phone, have it programmed OTA, then access it with DFS or the like to see what the programming is like. Copy the parameters to the Droid, have service transferred to its IMEI, bam, in theory you have 3g service.
While there might be other carriers using the 700mhz LTE band, depending on how standardized LTE is or isn't, they might not be using it in the exact same way as Verizon. It's certainly possible that it would work perfectly fine, but I wouldn't bet money on it.

During such an instance if i load a GSM SIM of another operator what would be the situation ?
I am just looking at using CDMA for Call & SMS(would be good too if Data worked) ... And from my GSM SIM i would like to use only the Data !

Clean and bad esn, usually only refers to verizon, carriers usually do not share blacked listed info.

In theory, yes. As long as the channels match up, CDMA service is pretty standard as far as I know. And to be as clear as possible: you can use any ROM, if you have an LTE SIM card installed. The SIM doesn't need to be active, as it isn't actually used if the phone is manually programmed, it is simply there to make the phone stop complaining about a missing SIM.
To reiterate though, this is all in theory. As @sd_shadow said, to use 3G CDMA outside of the US, you might want to find a phone that does it natively. The Droid 4 was intended for 4G LTE/voice over CDMA in the US, and GSM internationally. Trying to get it working on a non-Verizon CDMA carrier should be done as a curiosity, not out of expectation that it will work.
As for non-Verizon carriers in the US, there are at least a couple; Boost and Sprint come to mind. Verizon is the primary CDMA operator here, most other carriers claiming CDMA service are actually MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) who "rent" capacity on Verizon's network and resell it to customers as prepaid packages. Verizon MVNOs will refuse to activate the Droid 4 for 3G-only service, as its IMEI immediately gives it away as a 4G LTE device. Boost and Sprint probably won't care, so long as the phone operates on the same channels, but they also won't offer any assistance in programming a phone if it can't be done OTA.
Wherever you are, you would probably have an easier time finding a GSM carrier, since all of the needed information is on the SIM card. There are a lot more "ifs" and "maybes" when it comes to CDMA when it can't be automatically programmed, unfortunately. That said, if you have a particular carrier in mind, it may be worth looking around the internet to see if anyone else has tried to program this phone or the RAZR (which apparently has a similar radio); it might turn out they've already gathered all the necessary information, and it's a matter of entering it all into your phone. Finding information for Sprint and Boost should be easy; carriers outside the US might be a bit more difficult.
Lastly, it's worth pointing out that the Photon Q is a physically similar CDMA phone with technically superior specs, already on the Sprint network. It lacks a SIM slot, though, without some delicate modifications to the mainboard and case, so it can't be as readily moved to GSM service. It's also not as well-supported here (at least, the last I checked) as the Droid 4, so its ROMs might still have some outstanding bugs.
Also like sd_shadow, you can't use CDMA and GSM service at the same time. Stock and most AOSP-based ROMS are configured for Verizon 4G/CDMA service by default, and have to be patched to change over to GSM; this necessarily disables some CDMA functionality. To undo the patch, you have to reflash the ROM (or replace the files that the patch changes, if you backed them up).
