[Question] NEXUSONE PVT SHIP S-OFF - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

If this isn't the correct place for this feel free to move it, I only posted it in this forum because I feel like this is the only place where I would get an answer.
Currently in fastboot my N1 says: NEXUSONE PVT SHIP S-ON
I want it to be turned off, so it'd be like NEXUSONE PVT SHIP S-OFF
Is there a way to do this? (I've seen it on some phones)
Thanks!

Hmmmmm... are you trying to re-lock your rooted N1?

is that what that means? I was just informed that it could be done and I need it for a certain thing that I'm trying to do=x

Relocking not possible in the retail phones. Our N1's are not user lockable at this point in time.

okay.... here i have two HTC ONE... first on is Sprint and the second is ATT...... i looked over and as you see both have same HBOOT. the only different things are model name WLS and UL, with different radios of course ..........
my question is, Can i flash my Sprint phone with ATT RUU? i know the main concern is the bootloader, but here is the same version... my biggest fear is the Radio, i don't know if it gonna mess up the baseband chip or not.......
i used to do the old HTC, such as (touch pro, diamond) and other convert them from verizon to sprint and the opposite.... it always goes smooth after s-off and super CID ........
so i need some real help and ideas
thanks

not if you want the sprint htc one to continue working and i'm sure if you hex diff the hboots their not the same, and i'm pretty sure it will brick your phone flashing att radios to a sprint phone(cdma vs gsm)
so in short no you can't flash a att ruu to a sprint phone

[Q] HTC one ack to stock help

Hi all,
I have bought an unlocked HTC one (m7), it seems in good working order but when i tried to sell it on, they told me there is no recovery mode, and the it says RElocked.
So when i tried to go into recovery nothing works, I just get a red triangle inside a phone picture. noting works when i press power and Volume up either,
could someone please advise in child like details how i can get this phone back to normal so i can sell it please.
here are the phone details:
*** RELOCKED***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.56.000
RADIO-4A.25.3263.21
OpenDSP-V32.120.274.0909
OS-4.19.401.11
eMMC-boot 2048mb
THANKYOU
The recovery sounds fine, the only way to get it back to locked rather than relocked is to s-off (security off the phone) which might be doable via firewater http://firewater-soff.com/
You need to do some research on the hoops to go through to s-off/unlock/relock etc. plenty of threads about it. Not child like instructions but hopefully send you in the right direction.

[Q] Help, can you tell me how to put S-ON and UNLOCK Bootloader again on mye One M7?

Hi, first of all this is a different HTC One from the other one I posted on this forum with the problem with the Safe Mode, need help to send it to repair for the purple tint issue. Now I have S-OFF and Bootloader OFF, so it came like that since I bought it, because his first owner did this,
I'm on stock rom and I don't have root, for example I applied the last update via OTA and I did it without problems, but I need to put the S-ON and Bootloader locked like as it comes from factory so the HTC support can't screw me
How can I do this ?
I found a couple of sites but I do not trust very much the information on those sites...
Most important thing is that I need to be it LOCKED, not Relocked, locked as it comes from factory.
Now boot info gives me:
*** UNLOCKED ***

HBOOT-1.56.0000
RADIO-4A.25.3263.21

I need to be back locked and S-ON. I don't now if official support look at this but I need to be safe that my phone can be repaired from that damned purple tint.
Thanks in advice to all :good:

Follow my guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541082
using RUU.ZIP method, using this ruu.zip: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu-zip...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-zip/
the guide is written in a specific way to avoid potential problems, (especially the S-Off to S-On part), so follow it correctly please.
read it once or twice, and when you're comfortable with it you can start the procedure. if you have questions ask in the my thread (since i get notifications) or here, and I'll reply when I can.
Good luck

[Q] RUU Update fails, Need to update Hboot or get correct RUU

Hello, so recently erased my phone and planned on using the RUU file I had used in the past to start off fresh because my phone was running like a turtle. The only problem was that the RUU I had used in the past would not work anymore. It would start up and either stay at step 1/5 checking headers for like an hour or it would fail completely. I am completely confused and just want help finding the correct RUU that will get me back up and running. I've tried several different RUUs but none have worked.
I have a US T-Mobile htc one and I relocked the bootloader already.
this is what I see as of now:
*Tampered*
*Relocked*
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.61.000
Radio-4T.28.3218.04
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-6.10.531.9 (7.18.531.2)
eMMC boot 2048MB
Feb 11 2015,18:39:53.0
at the bottom it also says Hboot version is older, update fail. I was thinking this might be the problem too but idk how to fix it. I have no desire to get S-off or anything extra right now, I just need the phone to work like normal for now. If someone could help i'd greatly appreciate it . Also i'm not an expert so please go easy with any intense technical steps. Thank you in advance.

How hard is it to get back to stock?

A friend of mine (who's a bit of an idiot when it comes to Android) has a Sprint HTC One (M7).
I don't know much about HTC's as I've never owned one so I really don't know how the bootloader and S-OFF and things like that work.
Anyhow, he wants to sell it, so I want to get it back to stock.
This is what the bootloader says:
*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
M7_WLS PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.57.0000
RADIO-1.01.20.0904_2
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-5.05.651.2
eMMC-boot 2048MB
Don't know what any of that means.
All I want to know is how do I get back to stock properly?
I downloaded 2 Different RUU's (for Sprint)
One was an EXE file which opened up an InstallShield wizard, asked me to accept or reject the terms and agreement and then just closed and didn't do anything.
The other was a zip file, which is also useless.
It's the rom.zip, but when I try to extract it, it's corrupt.
If I try to flash it (using the fastboot oem rebootRUU command) it gives me an error about being too large or something.
Internet is slow here in Pakistan, how many RUU's could I possibly download (it takes forever).
How can I simply get back to the stock ROM for Sprint (either KK or Lollipop will do).
This is why I never buy HTC cause they're so damn confusing.
P.S: The phone has a custom recovery installed and is on CM12.1 right now.
