Introducing version HD V2.1 XTREME, a new build 5.2.21018 and CE OS OS 5.2.21017.1.6.0.

Dutty's HD V2.1 XTREME Change Log for |WWE|
• This Rom is for those who are having some problems with previous versions.
• I have stripped my kitchen and cooked the Rom from scratch again.
• All issues regarding sounds, ringtones and strange behaviour experience for some users should be hopefully be fixed..
• I have been running the ROM all day and no whatsoever bug or issue was arise for myself.
• The ROM should probably be more stable in regards with performance and stability.
• This ROM should be quite good for all users.
• This ROM Also seen by myself has improve battery life tested today tested with HD_Radio_1.12.25.16
• In regards with worldclock, manila and new app related, these are all new stuff which are not even been reelased yet so be patient until HTC update and fix this.
• Sorry for the Ongoing updates/Fixes but I like things to be perfect as possible and trying to give my best.
AS NOTED BEFORE BELOW PLEASE TAKE CONSIDERATION
The new manila might be causing issues for others who depend on installing 3rd party apps/hacks etc but I can only fix what I USE for myself which doesn't allow too much 3rd party app. There is also some stuff others might experience but remember this wasn't meant for HD and I ported and fixed as much as possibly can

downloaded it through rapidshare...
But i'm not able to flash this rom using USPL and BlackstoneRUUWrapper.exe
Could be a problem with my pc though...

The webby is fine now. Just downloaded via RS and flashed v2.1 with storage card.
FYI if you have not read the logs. It's a rebuild of v2.0 from scratch with new Radio.

How can I download you ROM? For example the previous version, I already registered and log-in then I went to download section browse the directories then pressed on one of the file then nothing happen... ???

No, its an upgrade from romeos 1.12 & has standard romeos features.
For your question, Opera 9.5 is included as default & uninstallable.
What I mean is no bugsfix, troubleshooting here as they can use all info from this site. I will updates on my site only, so less pressure

Thanks to fl4r3 for reminding me that I forgot to make a update.zip that changes only the apps icon's
Info :
This was signed and made into Windows XP SP2 so It won't cause any problems to your phone.
To install rename it to update.zip , transfer it to the root of your sd card , boot into custom recovery and flash it.
No wipe is needed of course.

Thanks guys. I will do my best to finish this and release it as soon as possible. They just look small on the phone and thats my main problem. Another problem is that I still have school and this week is our last one so we will have much homework
If anyone finds better icons for new theme it will be much appreciated...
Oh and I think I must make an iPhone theme since everything can be changed I think...I will work on the iPhone theme at XMAS

theres no really need to, however if you to its a simply update.zip job just make sure you leave your phone alone during the process

Now I have changed many icons Try and tell me if you want any differences or something.
You can also offer icons from picnic that you think are better or suit for a HTC icon.

I don't know. You can try and see if you brick your phone (I suggest not do flash it).

The icons look great!
However, I had the lockscreen without the 'bar' installed but when I used your files it installed on top of it. Is there any way for you to make the update zip without affecting the lockscreen files?

Looks interesting! I think you need to compile a hero version of cyanogen with that new xml for it to work.
I'm actually trying it now, so fingers crossed and I'll report once I've got the ROM running

Lol... patience, my young padawan. Turns out that the original xml posted in Droid Mechanics' blog was not compatible with the current CM6.1 source format, so I needed to edit that.. (something about id assignment) resuming compilation as we speak
EDIT: it also turns out that I've pushed my little lappy a bit too far; my linux partition is outta space. I'll continue work when I'm on my big machine again at home. Prolly later tonight (if I don't crash driving home through the snow )

Okies... I've managed to get it working
But...
1) The carrier text is not displayed correctly (should be right-aligned)
2) This _will_ change your framework-res.apk. Having build it using CM6.2.0 RC0 (currently nightly), it _might_ not work on other ROMs.
Once I get the text properly aligned I will put up a framework-res.apk and a metamorph package for those who want to try

I've created a two options for you guys to try... but first:
DONT FORGET TO NANDROID
Having said that: I honestly do not know if this will work or not (my hero is also also my main phone and is currently running my own custom build of CM6.1), but for those brave enough to try here you go!
(all files can be found HERE)
Your options are to:
replace your framework-res.apk with one of these (this will reset any theme you've applied!):
(plain) Cyanogen 6.1 - Stable
Floyo 1.2.0
Froyd 1.7.2
or use a metamorph
(plain) Cyanogen 6.1 - Stable
Floyo 1.2.0
Froyd 1.7.2
Again, I have no clue if this will work, so backup first! I recommend a wipe of cache (and maybe dalvik) as well.
Post if it works or not. If this way turns out to be one big mess, I can share my private build, but hopefully this will work.

Sorry, but no. The framework is totally different and the power widget is exclusive to Cyanogen mod CM6 which is android 2.2 based.

You betcha! I'm currently learning as a ROM assembler and at the moment my first ROM with natively build gingerbread theme is booting up

Request for a Theme Port.

Ok per the initial registration video i looked and searched if there was a similar topic for this and found none for this device. Now what i would like to ask for is for the Gears of War Theme that was made for the Epic 4G to be ported to the Thunderbolt... Here is a link to the post with the download link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1137545 ... Now i do not know if this is an extensive port or if i will be able to just download and flash the existing to my device but currently i am just rooted, i had tinkered with the Cyanogen Mod 7 but i didn't fully feel the love on it yet so if someone will let me know what i need to do to be able to run this flawlessly after its ported as well i will be in full appreciation and forever thanks to the dev that can come up with this for me and all other Gears fans. Thank you all in advance for even looking at this post.

What rom are you running?

As of current i am running CL3ANTH3ORY V1.0. Have also tried the CM7. i'm up for switching to any rom that will allow me to run this faster. my about phone shows that Android Version 2.3.4, HTC Sense Version 2.1, and i have the 2.5 Radio since i am currently running GB roms. but i will gladly downgrade to have this on my device.

Alright, I am working on a port for that rom ... I will get basics done so you have something, then update you with more detailed theme, time is of short for me.

This is actually beginner stuff... I wish I were a god. I built it on the rom you said you were using (CL3ANTH3ORY V1.0). This should be flashed via recovery. I am not able to figure out at current time how to get the BG to flash so you'll have to set that yourself. I will try to get the update up within the hour. Happy Flashing
