www.chinavasion.com = bad quality & support product! = swindlers !! AVOID !! - HD2 Accessories

Hi all,
I've bought a week ago this bluetooth mini keyboard :
http://www.chinavasion.com/product_info.php/pName/mini-bluetooth-keyboard-for-smartphones/
I've opened it, and it was looking to a be a great product. Pairing was okay, and stuff like that too. I tried to recharge it, and there was a contact problem. Here is a video explaining it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WONbgT1lP2U
I DIRECTLY go to the online center of the shop. During the direct online conversation, he asked me to plug it to an other computer, so I went to my mum's one. While plugging it, the USB receptor broke and came inside the keyboard itself. It just broked!
There were already a BAD contact, and it simply broked. It is maybe a default product problem or simply a bad quality for their products, but it is NOT my fault. It's a new product, I've got a HTC HD2, so I know how to plug a microUSB cable !!
Anyway, they did not wanted to reimburse me !! They said I had to pay EVERYTHING to get it repaired (+ sending it, it would cost me more than buying a NEW one !).
In more, they asked me to wait and said they were going to answer me by email. They simply did NOT wrote me a mail the day after ! And now, 4 days later, I still have no answer, that's why I decided to write this topic !
So please, everyone retweet, publish it everywhere, and make know Chinavision as a really bad compagny for their QUALITY and SUPPORT!!!!!
Thank you !
I just lost 30 €, thank you www.chinavision.com and imagine if I had buy a product that cost 100 € or more??
CONCLUSION : AVOID www.chinavision.com !!!

Sébastien *hide*: I explain you my problem or you redirect me to mike?
Justin [Chinavasion]: Would you like me to help you?
Sébastien *hide*: Yes
Sébastien *hide*: That's the same for me
Sébastien *hide*: I bought a mini bluetooth keyboard
Sébastien *hide*: But there a contact problem when charging already

Justin [Chinavasion]: We regret the inconvenience caused to you.
Justin [Chinavasion]: May I please have your order number?

Justin [Chinavasion]: Is it possible for you to use this anyway.
Sébastien *hide*: I don't care... I bought a NEW keyboard, which must be 100 % fully working when I use it :S
Sébastien *hide*: And when I simply connect it, it's not charging

Made in China...

wow ! really sorry for your keyboard zepphi. i am deleting all links for chinavasion from my thread. anything else keep me informed.

ups - I had bought also 2 weeks ago this BT Keyboard from Chinavavion.
Arrived yesterday. I'm wondering, why the plastc-bags are open. Anyway.
But after checking and charging the keyboard all is working fine without the device driver! I don't know how long. I hope a long time....
The Keyboard is very nice, working fine and it's also attached for charging with the micro-USB cable, like HD2. really nice feature.
It's not really good, that you have so much trouble with this keyboard.
You could try it once more with dealextreme.com, if you want - they have this keyboard also.
Finaly I'm lucky that I've heard and read about this from xda-developers, thanks to tids2k. once more a very interesting forum.

Sorry to read this, Zephii
I guess it's a bit like ebay purchases... you pay the low price to get what's probably a good product but when things go wrong it's really the luck of the draw...
Good to know to avoid, though - cheers...
Except... I took a quick peak at the company webstore and found myself wanting to like them, if only for the product description of their Iron Samurai wrist watch
To quote the site,
Yes, The Iron Samurai has been known to increase its wearers' strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma by as much as 20 points each! Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal are said to be Iron Samurai owners, as is David Bowie and Brian Eno. In reality, this watch is perfect for Presidential dinner crashers, Facebook celebs with over 1000 fans, Youtube directors with over 2,000,000 views, anyone who can play the entirety of Neil Zaza's I'm Alright on electric guitar, iPhone 3Gs owners, or anybody who is a somebody.

All rather silly and perhaps it offers some recompense by way of humour (esp. if the translator snuck the flowery description in without the store owners awareness).

thanks for letting us know. chinavasion is on my blacklist now. anyway...have they sent the email then?

I got mine from the same place but it's absolutely fine.

Of course then don't sell **** only But it could have been mine working perfect and yours broking after 30 minutes after unpacked, you would have react as me
On any other great website, proporta, mobilefun, I would have get reimbursed for sure
Chinavision are stolers on this case, so let's get them a bad reputation, as I promised them I was going to !

Bad luck on that... Don't get me wrong, but that's usually what you get when ordering from China. I learnt that the hard way just like you now have but you can't really blame them for wanting you to pay for the return shipping (that's standard policy and was probably in the sales conditions you accepted when you ordered it).

Thanks
Thank you very much for posting! Saved me a headache as I was thinking of being a customer.

Is that from Mike Moore's, Roger & Me? Where they expected all the GM workers to find jobs making lint rollers and candles?
No, but nice try
Read this thread completely:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=394724
Then you will understand my post. Reading it pissed me off and I really feel bad for the people involved. Again, I hope it gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction. But when I see a sale, I always think of that thread (NO relation whatsoever between this and the other thread).
yeah i knew about this.
For my service of selling, I will give all I can so you keep me in contact no matter what. If I have to give my phone number/msn account/ anything else then so be it.
hey, i just replied to your PM.
sorry for the delay. worked all day. please reply back.
thanks
Treat this post as a standard disclaimer and it is NOT aimed specifically at this seller.
Sadly, we recently had a case of a member who pretended to be selling Kaisers but was sending out "junk".
So -
If you buy any device from any member having seen it for sale on XDA-Developers; then you do so at your own risk. It is entirely up to you to ascertain if the description of the device is accurate and the offer genuine. You are not covered / protected in any way by XDA-Developers and XDA-Developers has not checked or authorised the sale of any device on these forums.
Can we merge this with the other post that the OP already put up offering hit tilt for sale? Or maybe with the other 50 page "help" thread as a nice
denouement to this entire saga?
it's not necessary to do..
anyways this guy is already making the deal.
I won't let him down.
the reason why Ninja Gaiden II is in the picture of my nickname is because I told him before that I was going to play the game meanwhile waiting for my brother to appear with the paypal information.
hey man, sorry i got distracted here at home.
reply back to my PM and we'll be good to go.
This thread can be closed now.
Item sold.
hey bro, got the phone!
Just as described. Glad to be back on a tilt!
It's refreshing to hear that you finally got what you deserved.
You will for sure put it in better use than I did.
Enjoy it and take care.
Try sell it on eBay, you get big bucks out of it... I paid $280 for a brand new one just week ago, too bad or I would have got your phone...

PS : I published it in several Accessories topic, because people learn it !
I think the mistake was to bargain with them. My best call is to call your bank and cancel the transaction.
its never a good idea to flaunt your positions or threaten a company. thats an easy way to have a legal team sent to your doorstep. as jose said, get in touch with your bank and explain the situation to them. thats the best and smartest way to handle it.
I have bought tons of stuff from chinavision, yes I get a few duds , but they mainly wholesale to people wanting to sell lots of stuff and that buy in bulk.
So when you buy in bulk say 100 items at a time 1 Item is bad it is not even worth the trouble to send it back, usually do not worry about it till it is over 10% as that is usually well absorbed in the first 2 or 3 items sold ...
So that being said, they tend to be harsh to the one and two item buyer, this is not the first horror story I have heard ....
But they sell so much stuff all over the world, everybody on this forum could start posting bad stuff about them , and I doubt they would even notice ...
My suggestion is to chalk it up to a bad experience , write if off, and don't stress about it, people get burned everyday by sellers and buyers on Ebay, and Ebay is still in business ...

Conversation with a Nigerian scammer

So I have my Macbook on my local Craigslist, a buy/sell/trade site here in the States. This site has been plagued with an influx of fake people with fake money sending around fake PayPal emails.
Unfortunately, I'm all to familiar with these scams, which all seem to originate from Nigeria. Here's my most recent exchange:
I am interested in this item,is it still available for sale?get back
as soon as possible.
Richie Mo ,

I bolded the suspicious lines, as these are the "red flags" that I look for (for good reason). Notice the HORRIBLE grammar and spelling. PayPal is a professional company, and they take great care to promote that image. As far as I know, all their emails are computer-generated.
So here's my response to "Richie Mo":
Nice try! It's a shame that you're a scammer, because it's a really nice computer. Those paypal emails are fake, I know for a fact. I am not new to craigslist at all, and I've turned down better fakes than you on the daily. Thank you for giving me a good laugh though!
Die slowly in a fire. Thank you!

I've been around the block a few times. I've had similar attempts on several different items in the past. One was a man offering more than asked plus $100 for shipping, but to his "daughter in west africa as a missionary". The sale was for a Behringer mixer for DJ-ing.
I hope that I have enlightened you all to the warnings and red flags to look for so this doesn't happen to you.

eBay, at least in my head, is a safer way to deal with it because there's a third party involved. This all might be an illusion, but he sure seemed to hate the idea.

Same here, its good to show people it still happens.. Just a shame alot of people do fall for it..
I ALWAYS get those emails every time I post an Ad on Craigslist. I know its a scammer because they always refer to what your selling as an "item" not with "Hey do you still have the evo? Will you take $50 for it?" like the typical low ballers.
Such a shame. What I wouldn't give to meet a scammer like that and make them cry. My brother-in-law was a spammer, but that's more respectful.
hmm..
<sarcasm>I would have done the following (knowing it was a scam...)
I think it may be legal to send bodily fluids and feaces as long as it is packaged in such a way that odours are not emmited, and it doesn't leak.
Get a macbook box, just for fun, use it as my toilet for a day, package it all up properly of course. And send it to that address. Be interesting to see what happens when they did get the USPS tracking number </sarcasm>
I don't like scammers....
I'm fairly certain that isn't legal. I was planning on sending an empty box with too little postage and no return address, forcing "Richie" to foot the bill.
(I know it isn't but I guess sarcasm does not carry over the internet to well!)
Its a shame google maps doesn't have much coverage on Nigeria, could pop a nice little map marker on for all to see that scammer lives here.... That would be an interesting layer.

Can someone help me on a Paypal dispute ?

Hello,
On august 3rd, I was selling my email adresses on Ebay : [email protected] and [email protected]
I said on the description: READ CAREFULLY, THESE ARE NOT PHONES, BUT EMAIL ADRESSES
Someone bought my item, and paid for it
I woke up this morning and found that the buyer ( 1 and half month later ) ... Opened a dispute on paypal saying he never received the item ? I sent him the password 30mn after the end of the auction.
My point of view is that he didn't read carefully the description and now, thought it was a BlackBerry Torch and now, he wants his money back because of a mistake.
What can I say on the dispute on paypal ?
I have 4 options on Paypal:
Provide Shipping Information
Evidence Other than proof of shipment
Proof that I refunded the money
I will accept liability
Which one should I take since I sent the password vie E-mail ?
Thanks for your help.
Curious.. you sold an email? Hoe much for?

Also curious, I've been wondering what to do with that box full of old email adresses......
Sent From My Fingers To Your Face.....
Someone having business or a fan of Blackberry could use it
What can I do now ?
Show Paypal the original ad. If you were aboveboard and the ad clearly stated there was no physical product, just an email address, then the buyer had no basis for dispute.

If you've sold someone free email addresses that are actually the property of someone else (Google and Microsoft in this case) then I LOL at you for the fact that the buyer will possibly get their money back. You didn't deserve it in the first place.

On the dispute, I made a Screen showing an email where I sent the passwords to the buyer.
That should be fine ?

IF the transaction is legal, showing a copy of the email with the password should suffice. However, you technically do not own either of those email addresses. They are property of Google and Microsoft and are leased to you for free. I'm not sure you have a legal right to profit from them. Just a thought.

Basically your get-rich-quick scheme is about to blow up in your face. I think you'll find that ebay are about to do an Inception on you. i.e, the fact that you have violated the Terms and Conditions of both Hotmail and Gmail will mean that you have also violated ebays own T&Cs when you traded those addresses.
I hope i'm wrong, but would you bet the bank on it?
Edit: Don't get me wrong, i admire the entrepreneur spirit, but this is not that different from cybersquatting, and the powers that be NEVER rule in favour of the little guy in those cases.
It's not a " get rich scheme " ...
I created those adresses because I used to be a BBerry User ...
But since I moved to Android, I can sell them because they were mine and I don't need it anymore.
Well, that's not the point. The buyer said he didn't received the passwords but I have an E-mail where I sent the password. I did a screenshot and send it to paypal.
That's works ?
( We are solving it on Paypal.com, not Ebay
Put it this way. You are on the middle of a tightrope, 1000ft above a screaming hoard of greedy lawyers; Google lawyers on one side, Microsoft lawyers on the other. At the far end of the rope are ebay lawyers and behind you is a disgruntled netizen with a pitchfork.
Good luck dude!
Well, if we forget about lawyers and stuff like that ....
I sait that it was email adresses ..
I wrote READ CAREFULLY in Red, Bold !
Then, it's his fault, no ?
And I have a proof of delivery ?

Seriously, i wish you luck. It'd be nice if the little guy wins one for a change...and i f*****g hate lawyers!
Q) What do you call a thousand lawyers on the bottom of the ocean? A) A good start!
Loooool thanks for your help !
Have a nice day
