Does anyone else have this issue? I can hear clicking and liek white noise from time to time in the headphones.. Any idea on why?

I tried and search but nothing really fit my problem. My diamond all of the sudden incoming or out going calls are sound distort, but when I turn on speaker phone it's clearer and better. I tried change Radio, roms but the same thing. My ring tone doesn't sound distort either. Can someone out there help me or someone has similar problem? may replace speaker? software problem?

I have a problem, when my headphones are plugged in the device speaker is on and just as loud at the same time. So I cant really use my headphones in public places?!
Anyone know what is causing this, I hope its a simple enough problem to fix.
put you ear next to the rear mono speaker, and listen. You might hear a small static. This occurs to my NC even when the volume settings are muted in CM7. Anybody else able to reproduce problem statement?
My fear is the audio system is unnecessarily drawing power to supply static noise.
Any ideas?

It's the same if you plugin headphones, there is a constant noise like static. It's really annoying. It's the exact same noise as you are describing. I wonder can anyone who hasn't rooted a nook check and see if theirs is making the same noise?
I get the same thing...haven't checked to see if it happens when the unit is sleeping yet though.
Can someone else see if it happens while sleeping?

I just started noticing a faint static sound from the earpiece when running an app with the volume off. I didn't actually notice until i was playing a game in a quiet room with the volume muted. It was actually loud enough to hear without placing my ear next to the earpiece. It only makes the sound when i run a game. I haven't tried it with any other types of apps yet. Had anyone else been experiencing this?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem with background noise when on a call and if so are there any solutions.
People say it sounds like I'm in a busy train station when I'm in a relativley quiet office.
I used to have an iPhone that cut out background noise, but its like this phone doesn't have that feature.
Also when it picks up background noise, it puts other people who are speaking on mute, as thought it thinks I'm talking so they should be muted.
Any help would be really appreciated.
